The build quality of the computer I ordered was excellent and I really appreciated the attention to detail as well as my preferences. They went out of their way to substituting custom fans for the stock radiator fans that I had ordered, which really was the icing on the cake. This was a 10/10 experience for me. The system's performance in both benchmarks and real-world use scenarios are off the charts. Their willingness to work with me on exactly what I wanted with exactly the parts I wanted yielded this result. It's an outstanding piece of work and has been a great customer experience.Review from Matt P

Best selection of parts of any site out there. You can get exactly what components you want. Great build quality. Very helpful customer service.Review from Kevin M

They offer the largest list of components of any custom computer builder. You can configure your machine, save it then go and price quote the parts elsewhere and see where they stand.I have used them for two different builds and used the parts I wanted. They build it, test it and then ship it. Build quality is great. Their customer service is quick and helpful to respond if there is a conflict or out of stock part in your custom build. I am a satisfied customer.Review from Michael H

I have used *** multiple times, because they give me the configuration I want at a reasonable price, no one else does. There computers have all worked well for years with zero issues. What more can a say.Review from Rac C

I think that AVA Direct is the only custom PC builder that still lets you pick every component. The Sales Manager was very helpful in reviewing my selections and offering suggestions for my requirements. I received the PC within three weeks and everything works great.Review from Cesar P M

I had my first build made by them and I am happy with my choice. I picked the parts initially and I also asked and received good recommendations for upgrades and replacements. The customer service was excellent and If I ever need to update or make a new build I would contact them again.Review from Seth C.

================----- >> Avoid at all costs! << ---- They do not have the parts you ordered for the custom-built computers and they will try to make you "upgrade" to more expensive parts they do have. Only to then find out that it does not work at all.================= I ordered a custom-built PC all the way back in March to try and avoid scalping. At the time, I thought that if I were to pay some $1500 for a ****, I might as well buy a pre-built one and have it in a reasonable time. ( #**********)A month in of waiting, they suddenly call me out of the blue to say that the parts I ordered were not available and they wanted me to "upgrade" to more expensive parts. How can you even offer to sell parts that you do not have? Imagine if a sandwich place let you order a pepperoni sandwich and after days of waiting, they then say that they never had pepperonis to begin with but that you can upgrade to salami. There would be outrage! But that's the business model of AVA ******* Best part? You can't back out of it because of a 20% restocking fee that they will charge you with - for parts that they don't have to begin with! After months of waiting, I caved and "upgraded". It still took a month after "upgrading" for it to finally be built and for it to be shipped to me. And when it arrived, IT DID NOT WORK! So, I go and test out the computer on every outlet I have in my room and it just does not work! It turns on for a second and immediately turns off! 6 months of waiting and a few "upgrades" later for a non-functioning unit! Immediately sent the unit back without even touching it so that I could not at all void the warranty. And guess what? They said that there was no issues! Here is there response to that:"The issue has not been able to be replicated. Can you think of anything in your home environment that may have caused this (Faulty Surge protector, Faulty Outlet, etc.)?" In essence they were blaming my house to have caused the computer to fail. My newly built house that was built this year and passed inspection? Really? Unless the inspectors in ********** are lousy at their job, I am more inclined to believe that their PC is faulty. After another 2 months of waiting (despite their estimate turn around time to only be 2 weeks), the computer arrived and IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. The same issue of turning on for a second before turning off happens! I tested it on multiple outlets around the NEWLY-BUILT, NEWLY-INSPECTED HOUSE and it still does not work. At the time of this writing, I have requested to return the non-functioning unit. Let's see what other kinds of fun surprises they have this time.AVADirect Custom Computers Response

The system was sent to us for repair/diagnostics and none of the issues were able to be replicated as described. The system functioned exactly as expected, with not a single occurrence that would imply there is an issue with the machine as indicated. We had the system for two full weeks of constant power on, and power off tests - Benchmarks, burn-in tests, and individual component tests were ran (especially isolating the power supply, which is usually the cause of power on/off issues) and results were as expected. It is within AVADirect's best interest to test all systems against potential defects, as we understand the importance of having products that can be relied on. As indicated previously, there is likely something environmental causing the issue, and not something related to the machine itself. Provided as part of purchases, the customer is welcome to send the system in for additional testing if they feel strongly theres an issue with the system, despite previous testingCustomer Response

I am planning to send the computer back for a refund. However, I would like to see a video that shows that the computer is not faulty. This would surely be useful and beneficial for both parties. It would undeniably prove which one is at fault. I would like to ask that that video be unedited and that the video begins from the computer being unboxed directly going to being plugged into the outlet without being opened up. This way, there would be no ambiguity that it really works without being fixed up and that my house is at fault - a house that currently is handling multiple custom-built computers without any issues.Review from Daniel W.

Loving my new build!Since Covid jacked up the ** part industry I was forced to find a dealer that could source most of the parts so I could get a video card. After looking at length at tons of different sellers I decided to go with AVADirect and I am glad that I did. Its been about a month and the system is still running without issues!!! The setup was perfect for me to work with so I could complete some customizations and put my personal touch on it. Here is a breakdown of what I experienced with AVADirect.Price: After looking at major dealers and several custom build shops I was able to determine that AVADirect had the most competitive pricing (I did make a purchase when they had a site wide sale). I spent months comparing part cost vs build cost so I could figure out the markup being done on these custom systems. When I finally decided on my system (it ran about 3.5k) I figured they were adding about $300 over part cost to the price which was reasonable, but when you factor in the free shipping I got (I know that was expensive due to the large box) I am guessing they made only about $200 in total. For comparison I was looking into a system from Corsair (that is made mainly with Corsair parts) and they were adding about $700 for their builds.Customer Service: I was a total pain in the rear to deal with, but the rep was always willing to investigate things and allow me to make changes as we were waiting for some inventory to arrive. I must have sent like 20 emails asking about various things and each time I got a reply within 1-2 days with the information.Shipping: Once the order was ready to be put together it was less than a week before it was out the door and a few days latter was at my doorstep. The packing was EXCELLENT with a double wall shipping box that had the original computer case box and in that there were custom foam blocks in AND around the case to ensure nothing moved. My case is an O11D so there are 2 panels of glass and each arrived without damage.Negatives: There were only 2 issues with the whole process.1)The cost of Ram This is likely resolved now since I brought it up with them, but their cost was out of line with fair market value of the ram I was looking at. When I asked about it, they mentioned that they were selling it at cost and once they reviewed what I shared with them they said they would circle back and see what was going on. I ended up buying ram elsewhere since I didnt want to wait any longer, but the rep did double check everything before coming back to me with the information. 2)*** pump cable was connected to the wrong header on my board there are 3 CPU headers CPU Fan, *** Pump, *** Fan and they connected the pump to the *** fan instead of the *** PUMP. This is really a minor mistake since they all use the same connector and are right next to each other on the motherboard, on top of that it doesnt hurt the system at all. The only reason I noticed this was due to the Asus software not reporting the pump speed.Overall, I would recommend them to anyone interested in buying a new gaming rig. I am very happy with the product and it arrived as expected.Review from William B

I chose AVADirect because I couldn't find the configuration I wanted anywhere else. They have a good selection of components and I was able to order exactly what I wanted. (It helps that I was not ordering a graphics card, which currently have worldwide shortages.) I am very happy with my custom-built PC. (Order number **********, 5/20/2021)Review from James M

Recent purchase of a custom build left me waiting for what seemed a long wait, but when you consider the availability and silicon in general, nominal. Product received OUT STANDING! Packaging very protective even inside the case. All documentation and everything use in assembly that was excess was packaged and sent. I have been building PCs since the 80's I have never seen a better end product. Be patient it is worth the wait.
