    I moved out one of the beal property apartments which they gave me an apartment that was nasty and dirty before I moved, but after I moved, I cleaned the apartment with no damage. But after Moving Out, I wanted to leave my keys at their office, but they told me to leave the keys inside of the apartment with the door unlocked, and they will handle it from there. I left August 4th of 2024, and they charged me an extra $70 for damage that I never did. I sent pictures and everything of the apartment before. I left with no damages. I have picture proof that I did no damage to the apartment but they keep scamming me and putting this on my credit. They blocked me from payment account before my lease was up. I need somebody to help me because beal properties mr. ******* portals is scamming me out of my money. I was willing to pay the last $70. But, they blocked me from my account before I could even in my lease

    See attached Security deposit notice sent on 9/3/24. Also then see attach tenant login in on 9/4/24 to view the charges but not paid. 

    Below is email directly to the tenant stating that he need to pay the balance and not receiving a response.

    Tenant current owed is $140.75 and need to contact the collection agency about he debt from 9/30/2024. Phone number is ************ 

    Hey,
    Your deposit is only $535 and balance is $603. Need to pay the difference of $68 dollar.

    If there are any damages to the apartment we will let you know soon.

    The company had took my deposit.I emailed and sent a letter requesting proof of the damages that were claimed they charged me for things that didnt come with the apartment initally.They never sent me any pictures so I can compare it to the ones I have.

    Hey,

    We sent the tenant pictures of the damages and we did all the work put on the itemized damage sheet.

    We always follow Ohio security deposit laws. See attached after pictures of the work completed after tenant moved out.

    Also Tenant Broke lease early as lease didn't expire until 1/25/23 but vacated 10/1/22. see attached signed lease agreement

    After Reviewing the transaction we also only charged for 11/1 rent when we should of charge 12/1/22 and 1/1/23.

    I have had so many issues with Beal Properties since renting from them. First, they try to charge me an extra 114$ in utilities despite the fact that I already pay my own utilities. My neighbor is only charged 50$ for these utilities. Secondly, my unit was advertised as a two bedroom but it is only one bedroom. My biggest issue so far being issues with our water. Originally we had five water heaters, one for each individual unit. Since I asked the city to come and do an inspection they found that only two of the five water heaters have been replaced. To connect these two heaters to each unit, they decided to (without a permit) combine all of our plumbing together. Now any time someone in the building uses water, each individual meter goes off. Meaning our water bills have been completely inaccurate. Beal never sends us emails to let us know when maintenance is being done, so we have no idea when this issue started to happen. Trying to get a resolution from them is impossible.

    I have been at this apartment for eight years. I start off at 360 now is 575 every month. This company calls me to tell me that I owe them and I keep telling them I do not owe them they saying they pay my utility bills I pay my own utility bills they ****** they pay they got insurance for me. I have my own insurance I have homeowners insurance and renters insurance. They still keep trying to charge me for everything They don’t want to listen they just want to say that I owe them I told the lady yesterday I think we need to go to court so we can get a agreement going on on who owe and who don’t home.

    Sorry we never intend any of our resident to have this kind of experience.

     

    In regards to your billing issue everything on your ledger is correct. We have never received a complaint Insurance policy from you and we require that each unit be covered under with a compliant renters insurance policy at all times. I have email history of 5/26 explaining how to send your complaint insurance policy to our insurance so we can review and take off insurance going forward. We have still not gotten one sent to us unfortunately so we would not be able to remove the renters insurance charge.

     

    Also we price our apartment very competitively. The actually current market rent we are asking is $689/month for a similar unit in the same building as on 6/14/23.

    I am rejecting this response because: I paid every month my rent. I don’t known who owe this place no one came out n said we are the new owners. But if you read from a paper that is I don’t care how many times you read it it’s still going to be wrong well I guess I’ll see them in court.
