1 starI paid for 2 products for a total of **** and they were suppose to ship 2 days earlier then I receive a message that I need to verify payment. That they ALREADY HAVE! You can verify this when logged in to your account on our website as well. We apologize for any possible confusion as to the payment on this order, or your refunds. All refunds are processed back to the original method of payment. Since you used two different credit cards to pay for your order, (one for the amount of $1700, and one for the amount of $890.36) these are processed as two separate refunds to the respective accounts. As mentioned, it may take a few business days for the funds to post back to your accounts depending on how quickly your bank or financial institution processes the refund on their end. 1 starOk let's hear Summit explain this one away..April 4, 2021, I placed an order for multiple items for my 68 Camaro. One of those items was OER K352 a convertible power top frame. They advised it will be shipped from manufacturer which I expected. So, during my wait I get shipping updates from time to time, and weeks go by, months go by with new dates and I patiently wait because I'm not at the point of installing this yet and I ordered it early so I would have it when I was ready. Well crunch time is near and I still had not received the order and I get excuse after excuse after excuse. After this I still can't believe I waited, but they had me believing I would receive the product. Now keep in mind my last Summit email announcement was a shipping date Oct 14, 2022. I decided I was going to personally call OER and find out the status on the top frames. Low and behold OER tells me these " HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED BACK IN MARCH OF 2022" so Summit has been sitting on my money for over year and a half and they were continuing to tell me that it was coming by sending emails out saying, "shipping out by" whatever date they decide to put into the system". So today is Oct 17th 2022, and I am now processing for a refund let's see how long it takes me to get my refund back to bad its without interest. I agree with the comments provided by the Summit staff, and they have provided me a satisfactory explanation on the chain of events that happened with my order. I feel this review of the manufacture purchasing procedures by Summit may help others in the future not have to experience situations like mine. 1 starSummit = no good! Sent me out wrong part 3 fricken times ! I asked person i talked to , to please have shipping **** check that THE PRODUCT IN THE *** MATCHES THE ***** ON THE ***. I must have asked for too much because they sent the wrong product in the right box 3 FRICKEN TIMES. Besides not being very smart , they are also lazy AF!!! READ THIS CAREFULLY SUMMIT! IT IS CALLED BEING PROACTIVE . MAYBE MAKE A POSTER OR SOME S*** AND POST IT ** ** THE BREAKROOM WHERE YOUR EMPLOYEES OBVIOUSLY SPEND A LOT OF THEIR TIME DOING NOTHING !!! So 2 months pass by of this bull c*** and I still do not have the part or my $200 I spent on part! Said wait UP TO 5 DAYS for your money to be returned. Over 2 weeks and still have not refunded me my money. So I call them and you can hear nanny nanny boo boo go stick your face in *** *** attitude, right off the bat from the operator. She tells me a check is in the mail , wait another 2 weeks?? What the f ??? Can these people do anything right ?? And my bank (***** BANK) WILL NOT LET THEM CREDIT MY ACCOUNT THE MONEY THEY OWE SO THEY SENT OUT A CHECK ! I did not pay with a fricken stupid check! Man *********! I just wanted the dam part I needed !! 2 months out of work cause these a******* CAN NOT RUN A BUSINESS RIGHT !! i SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED MINUTES AFTER BANK DENYING REFUND SO I COULD CALL MY BANK AND SEE WHY" THEY WOULD NOT LET US REFUND YOUR ACCOUNT ". Never has this happened before ! First time I have heard this excuse for company needing more time to pay and I have been in business 20 years !! AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU DONT WANT PROBLEMS ! Our records show you placed your original order for SDH-3-3-5961X, slip yoke on 7-2-22 via our website and selected *****l as your payment method. On 7-22-22 you contact our customer service department stating you received the incorrect item in the box. The service representative you spoke with issued a prepaid return label, and also sent you a replacement order the same day (7-22-22) via next day air at no charge. You contacted us again on 7-26-22 stating you again received the incorrect item in the correct box. We again issued a prepaid return label and sent a replacement order to you via next day air at no charge. This time we did in fact inspect and measured the part prior to shipping the third order to confirm it was a ****** yoke with a ***** length. If it was inspected and found to be not as requested, we would have contacted you prior to shipping the third order. You contacted us back on 8-22-22 claiming it was still incorrect, and that you wanted a refund at this point. We issued another prepaid return label for you to return that one to us as well. Once we confirmed that all three yokes were returned back to us, we issued a refund to you on 9-29-22. This refund was issued in the form of a check since we could not refund the original ****** order due to the credit from that order already being applied to the replacement orders in order to send them to you at no charge. 1 starWas purchasing backorder item in early August. Website said item was on backorder and expected ship date September 6th. Came September 6th, got email saying deliver now September 12th. Okay, that's fine. Then came September 12th, nothing. Reached out to support and they say delivery now October! You kidding me? Why sell item you can't offer within a decent timeframe. In the event a supplier cannot supply a backordered part prior to the date in question, the date will then be moved accordingly. Our records show that we did update the arrival date on your backorder as we were notified of changes by the supplier. Our records show that you requested the order be cancelled via our website on 9-14-22, and it was cancelled the same day. Unfortunately being estimates, these dates are subject to change. We do remain in contact with our suppliers and update any changes to estimated shipping dates in the order status section of the website. Our records show your order was placed on 6-2-22 and the item was on backorder at that time. On 9-12-22 we were informed by our supplier that this item was discontinued and is no longer available. We emailed you this information the same day and that we had to cancel the order and would be refunding you. We issued a full refund to you for this item on 9-13-22. This was shipping to Australia via UPS, the method you selected at the time the order was placed on our website. You emailed our service department on 9-5-22 (labor day holiday) stating that according to UPS tracking the package was last scanned on 9-2-22 in Malaysia. Emails are answered in the order they are received. One of our service reps responded to you on 9-7-22, and stated we were filing a shipping claim with UPS and sending a replacement order to you at no charge. 5 starsMy Customer service guy was Great. Evan spent over an hour helping me get everything I needed for a complete rear diff rebuild of my Gen4 Z28 Oddball. Summit shipped immediately. It's not their fault Ratech sells and packages openly in bulk. Nothing was clean or protected from damage. Thankfully Richmond DiD use a special shipping box as were the axles. Received replacement parts immediately But Same Thing.
