This company continues to call me every month about a Business associated with them and make collections. I have told them numerous times they have the wrong number. They start of giving out information regarding the business associated customers and balances. I am not a business owner and have told them they are disclosing private information about the business collections, credit, their customers names and addresses and that I am a third party with a new phone number and to mark my number DO NOT CALL and delete it as well as cease and desist. Yet it continues.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention and for allowing us the opportunity to respond. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused by calls made to the wrong phone number. After review, we confirmed that a vendor-associated phone number had changed without our organization being notified, which resulted in calls being improperly routed.
We've taken corrective action to ensure this does not continue. The phone number in question has been removed from all Accuserve systems and internal call lists, and we have verified with the relevant departments that it is no longer associated with any of our accounts.
We regret the disruption this caused and appreciate your patience while we resolved the issue. Should any issues persist, we ask that you contact Accuserve directly so we can address the matter immediately.
Thank you.Customer Answer

I had an insurance claim through USAA for water damage in my basement in my home. USAA contacted Accuserve (whom is an affiliate with USAA) who then contacted a contractor WCI to do estimates and do work in my home. WCI failed to do work and I contacted Accuserve to get involved and do an investigation on the incident. I spoke with a representative from Accuserve in regards to this. I was reassured that WCI was going to send the money back to USAA for failing to do the work as promised. I’ve attempted to call by cellphone and sent multiple emails to Accuserve representative REMOVED(whom was handling case) to figure out when my floor was going to be fixed. I spoke with REMOVEDone time over the phone weeks ago. I haven’t heard from him since that point. At this point I’m in limbo, my floor is still a wreck, my house is in total chaos, my basements contents are sitting outside in a pod and no repairs have been done since October. When I call and send emails, I do not hear anything back. This is not right and is totally unacceptable.

Accuserve Solutions and the employees REMOVEDand REMOVEDare attempting to get me to accept a roof with valleys they will not be covered by the manufacturers warranty. They also presented me a letter which is worded to deceive the customer to believing they have manufacturer coverage which they don't. The letter specifically states all exclusions still apply which a closed valley is excluded. When questioned about this REMOVEDand REMOVEDsaid they are not going to be correcting the valleys and If I wanted them corrected I would have to pay out of pocket. They disregarded exclusion 14 when this project was overseen. I had to verify with IKO that no coverage was afford to valleys that are closed. After asking for this issue to be corrected they said the work is done up to their standard and they will be reporting the work as completed. They did not follow the necessary building codes on my roof repair. I have attached all documents and written communication from IKO in regards to the valleys being excluded

To whom it may concern,
Thank you for submitting your concerns. Accuserve and its vendor network
take customer concerns very seriously, and we appreciate the opportunity to
address these items. Accuserve has reviewed the scope of repairs on your
property thoroughly, including the installation method, your signed contract
with Xtreme Xteriors LLC, the IKO material warranty, and communications with
both Xtreme Xteriors LLC and the manufacturer.
After reviewing the information provided by all parties involved,
including the initial inspection report and the photos submitted by the Member,
we believe an on-site inspection is warranted. Our Director, Technical
Contractor Services, would like the opportunity to meet with the Member to conduct
a thorough inspection of the home, then develop a clear action plan to address
any necessary workmanship-related repairs. Our objective is to ensure the work
meets quality standards, complies with applicable local building codes, and meets
manufacturer installation guidelines.
Accuserve has committed to reaching out to the Member by Thursday 11/20
to coordinate an inspection and next steps.Customer Answer

Complaint: REMOVED
I have allowed Accuserve to do an inspection on my home from one of their employees in regards to workmanship. Unfortunately my concern with the valleys not being covered at all from the manufacturer are of great concern for me. No one has given me anything to replace the coverage that I lost when your vendor applied the shingles on my home. Furthermore the vendor himself Brad Hughes from Xtreme xteriors had told me we would be doing open valleys. He did not do so. No explanation or reasoning as to why he did anything other than what we agreed on with the valleys.
Sincerely,
REMOVED

Complaint: REMOVED
I am rejecting this response because the vendor is not providing the open valleys we originally agreed to. The vendor & accuserve have also attempted several times to deceive me into believing closed valleys are covered by IKO limited warranty. I have provided both Accuserve and Xtreme Xteriors the evidence of deception and the real documents such as IKO limited warranty and IKO dynasty installation instructions. Neither company is offering a solution to correct this issue and are insisting I pay for the valleys to be installed.
Sincerely,
REMOVED

Thank you for the opportunity to respond and address your concerns. After receiving the complaint, Accuserve and Xtreme Xteriors, LLC coordinated and completed an on-site inspection on 11/20/25 to review all concerns. A summary of our findings are below.
Roof: The installation was found to be in proper order – straight shingle courses, correct ridge installation, proper tie-ins at vents, pipe jacks, and chimney, and adequate rake overhang.
Drip Edge/Gutter System: The pre-existing gutter system was originally installed without drip edge. Adding the code-required drip edge created a raised area where water pooled. Gutters will need to be detached, drip edge reinstalled properly, and gutters reset. Xtreme Xteriors LLC will be working to submit a supplement to the insurance carrier for review and approval.
Eave Overhang: Several areas were identified to lack proper shingle overhang. This will be corrected during the other necessary repairs.
Missing Drip Edge: An area was identified to be missing a 6" piece on the front left elevation. This will be corrected during the other necessary repairs.
Ridge Cap in Yard: The roof inspection confirmed no missing ridge cap shingles and no wind-related damages. The piece identified in the yard was extra and not utilized.
Valley Concerns: The manufacturer warranty remains valid as installed. The drainage issues are caused by pre-existing structural conditions (low pitch), and are not affected by the valley style or improper installation. The homeowner prefers open valleys; Xtreme Xteriors LLC will inspect to determine what options are feasible. As previously mentioned, open metal valleys were not pre-existing and would be considered an upgrade from the viewpoint of the homeowner's policy; however, we will present this option to the homeowner's insurance carrier to determine if the open valley can be considered under the claim.
Xtreme Xteriors LLC will coordinate an inspection to gather the proper documentation to submit any necessary supplements to the insurance carrier, then coordinate repairs to the drip edge, gutters, and eave adjustments.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because closed valleys are excluded from the IKO limited warranty. I have provided both Accuserve the limited warranty and IKO limited warranty to prove they exclude closed valleys from the IKO limited warranty and that closed valleys are not recommended. This company is has an agreement with my homeowners insurance company to pick preferred contractors for home repairs. The contractor, Modification Roofing, assigned to handle flood damage at my home was a terrible contractor who billed my insurance for services not performed; failed to work days at a time, but requested extensions multiple times dragging a project out that should have been 6-8 weeks long to 5 months only because I requested to terminate the contract; damaged personal property; poorly installed the carpet and cut it to avoid stretching it; tacky painting; broken toilet; broken light fixture and thermostat; failure to replace smoke detectors; improperly installed vanity and pedestal sink; wrong quarter rounds installed; paint on front porch rails and trim of house; uneven sheetrock on ceiling and beams; and wrong color grouting in bathroom.
I informed this company about the problems I was having with Modification Roofing, aka REMOVED, and all his fabricated stories and gaslighting in an email. I even provided proof. They failed to follow up or do anything because his behavior didn't change. REMOVEDis a straight face falsifier. His guys had no respect for my property. They were running through all my plush charmin tissue, had the audacity to go in my garage and open a roll w/o my permission. My property was a construction site; construction workers improvise when on site by having a portojohn, etc. They were pooping and voiding on my toilet and not cleaning it. Leaving permanent stains! Their work was not accurate the first or second time around so I pointed it out to REMOVEDand he would have them repeat it. When I would express my desires to REMOVEDupfront, he failed to communicate to his crew and required them to repeat work. REMOVEDis horrible with project management that would ensure his guys were doing things right which caused a lot of repetition. He tried to work from memory versus writing things down and he never remembered everything.

I am appalled that that you would close my case because any time a business request a response, it is usually within business days because you all do not work on weekends and neither do they. I am on my eighth day right now. Please re-open my case as it is the correct thing to do. Also, you can disregard my voicemail (I was wrong) as I realized this letter is referring to the letter on the portal. I would appreciate if you can send all communication via email. Please do not extract any names or information from my complaint. I feel I am entitled to state an individual first or last name as anyone can have that name as long as I don't state the full name and other identifying factors. This company doesn't have the right to hide while performing shady practices.
In response to Accuserve's letter, I definitely do not agree with their response. I didn't get any of this service he is so graciously speaking of months ago when I started making complaints over and over from Accuserve nor the insurance company. An in-person inspection by USAA Adjuster with myself, and REMOVEDwas performed. I am sure they can provide any information and photos Accuserve's representative needs. You can see all the photos I have upload to the claims portal (many photos) and messages regarding your contractor as well. They have not addressed any of my concerns as of this date, but they forwarded me a letter on November 19, 2025@16:22 from REMOVEDseeking a response. I informed REMOVED, a representative of Accuserve, via email and phone alone with photos with the work performance of Modification Roofing; however, nothing was done except he stopped using the term "Darling"which I appreciated. I just received an email from REMOVEDon Friday, November 19, 2025 with a letter attached from Modification Roofing, REMOVED, suddenly states he is owed money in an effort to delete the amount owed to me from all the damage and poor work quality his team and movers has caused to my personal property and home. This is the first time I have been informed of this alleged debt. I responded requesting a detailed breakdown of the work covered by insurance and cost; list any work performed outside of the contract and the cost. What work was not completed and any damages as well as cost. I further requested the name of Modification Roofing insurance company since there wee suppose to be some claims filed months ago, but I have yet to get an update or call and REMOVEDrefuses to give me any information. He keeps saying he will follow up on the claims and never say anything else. I responded back to REMOVED, Sr Managed Repair Resolution Specialist at Accuserve, on November 24, 2025. I am currently awaiting his response.
This company appears to have taken a mediation role. They are forwarding communication between their Contractor and I. It depends on REMOVEDs response if this can be resolved.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We understand how important it is to receive timely updates regarding your claim, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the current status.
We recognize your frustration regarding the timing of responses and the perception that your case was closed prematurely. Please be assured that we remain actively engaged in resolving this matter and will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available. Additionally, your request to receive all communication via email has been noted and will be honored moving forward.
REMOVEDis the company currently representing Modification Roofing in this matter and is handling the insurance claim associated. A claim has been filed with them, and our office is awaiting their updated direction as part of the review process. REMOVED, owner of Modification Roofing, will be reaching out directly to REMOVEDto obtain a detailed status update. This will include confirmation of all items approved for coverage, such as the replacement of the damaged furniture.
Once we receive the final update from REMOVED, we will prepare a document outlining all applicable refunds and financial details. This document will be provided for your review and signature. We will continue to monitor communication between all parties to ensure your concerns are addressed.
We remain committed to assisting both parties in resolving this matter as efficiently as possible and appreciate your patience as we work through the required insurance processes. If you have any additional questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact us via email.
The remaining items required to finalize this matter are outlined below:
Payment of Deductible: Ms. REMOVEDis required to remit the deductible to Modification Roofing in accordance with the terms of the insurance policy.
Completion Documentation: Ms. REMOVEDmust sign the Certificate of Completion/Satisfactory Work for Modification Roofing. Completion of this step authorizes the insurance carrier to release the recoverable depreciation associated with the completed repairs.
Furniture Compensation: The vendor has confirmed their commitment to compensate Ms. REMOVEDfor the damaged furniture identified during the claims process.
Confidential Information: Certain names and financial details have been intentionally omitted from this public response. We are fully prepared to provide any omitted information directly to Ms. REMOVEDvia email upon request.Customer Answer

While the response from Accuserve’s representative sounds admirable, it’s all about perception because there has been no movement other than these nicely articulated letters. Unfortunately, my time is limited; therefore, I need to receive the information requested by the deadline instead of empty promises; otherwise, I will have to move on with my next plan of action. I just informed Accuserve representative, REMOVED, that I have been asking REMOVED, the contractor, since October 13, 2025 about the claims he stated he filed on my behalf with REMOVED. He repeats the same thing, “I will contact the company and let you know later today, but I never hear anything else.” They just told me that before Thanksgiving. How long does it take to make a phone call? REMOVEDreally disappointed me. He seemed like a nice guy, but it turned out to be an act.
REMOVEDis not the only party who is responsible for personal property damage. Modification Roofing’s workers stained my toilet seat with urine over the months working, ruined my bathroom floor tile, failed to install the correct quarter round in bathroom, damaged the chair set in bedroom, broke bedrail, lost a/c adapters, broke toilet flange, took it upon themselves to replace damaged fill valve and threw away old one(I instructed them not to), broke thermostat, damage vanity during install and improperly installed it, damaged front porch rails and house trim, broke blower, broke bakers rack, damaged two furniture pieces, damaged kitchen island cabinet, damaged insinkerator, and poured waste down disposal. REMOVEDowes me for lost wages due to requested time off from work to prepare to move back as a result of his last minute cancellation. He also owes me for services I had to have done when I returned such as plumber to check the toilet that was installed but not properly secured with adhesive glue and fixed a broken toilet handle as well as replaced a toilet seat. I have to get someone to come paint because the paint job appears to be rushed and was without much real effort or love. There are specks of paint all on my floor, cabinet handles, light fixtures, blinds, even more on the plumbing, home, etc. There are sheetrock imperfections. Also, it is simple to figure what you owe me for the carpet installation, painters I need, tile job; use the same metric you used to charge USAA because I am hiring a contractor too. No difference!
Accuserve and REMOVEDkeep wanting to tap dance around their responsibility and omit information about the damages and some of the work that is not up to construction standards. I have images of my home that was taken at purchase when the home was empty. I am the anal or OCD type that notices everything about my belongings and will have something 20 years and it still look new. I know these imperfections REMOVEDis falsifying statements about. Another contractor will confirm it. I am really saddened that I am having to go through doing all of these repairs myself. It’s work. I requested the insurance information because by law, I am entitled to have it since I have damages they are required to cover. This is my last time asking and addressing the situation on this platform. Furthermore, I expected it to be understood or stated to Accuserve’s representative that it is legal for the first name and/or the company’s name to be documented in a complaint as long as no personal information is revealed. However, if you are going to leave my personal information listed, I suspect there is some biasness taking place. I am requesting it be corrected.

Thank you for your response and for giving us the opportunity to review and address the additional concerns. We have carefully reviewed the information provided and want to acknowledge your concerns and frustrations. We apologize for any miscommunication or issues that occurred throughout the lifecycle of your claim.
The property was recently inspected by the insurance carrier, and all workmanship-related items have been identified. Accuserve has outlined the next steps for Chief Warrant Officer REMOVED; however, progress has been limited due to a lack of buy-in from Chief Warrant Officer REMOVED, which has contributed to delays in the resolution process.
To clarify the current status:
1. The vendor completed approximately $14,000 in upgrades for Chief Warrant Officer REMOVED. These items fall outside the scope of Accuserve's Workmanship Warranty.
2. The vendor has agreed to reimburse $3,400 for the damaged furniture. In lieu of collecting the $2,000 deductible, the vendor will apply it toward the reimbursement amount, resulting in a net payment of $1,400 to Chief Warrant Officer REMOVED.
3. To proceed, we kindly request that Chief Warrant Officer REMOVED sign the Certificate of Completion so the vendor can receive the remaining funds owed. Once the Certificate of Completion is received, the vendor will issue the furniture reimbursement and move forward with addressing all approved workmanship-related items. We believe that the majority of Chief Warrant Officer REMOVED's concerns have been resolved, and we are prepared to finalize any remaining items once the signed Certificate of Completion is submitted.

Complaint: REMOVED
I am rejecting this response because:Apparently, Accuserve should go consult with their contractor again after reading the highlighted area in this attachment. Once again, you all have insulted me with this ridiculous figure. On November 14, 2025, the contractor submitted to BBB of Metro Atlanta a response stating he did not charge me for any work performed outside of the insurance claim. Accuserve should be aware that Modification Roofing’s attempt to impose a retroactive fee, appears intended to offset or avoid responsibility for the damages his crew caused. Furthermore, any charges more than has been contractually agreed or fairly owed will create legal issues like unjust enrichment claims or unjust billing. The contractor has created fictitious charges in an effort to offset his burden of responsibility. Accuserve’s willingness to promote disingenuous information is enabling the contractor because they benefit by having the contractor as a preferred contractor. This makes them legally liable once they were informed and continued to push the wrong narrative.
On December 8, 2025, I rejected your submission and stated I will be handling my situation in an alternative manner. Please close this case.
Sincerely,
REMOVEDInitial Complaint

Accuserve (MADSKY)warranty for a new roof replacement is 5 years and the work was done around Aug 2021. at year 3 (2024), the roof started to leak and I contacted Accuserve directly. After months of going back and forth, the company sent someone to fix it around March 2025. After the fix, the roof is still leaking, I have been trying to get a hold of the warranty department, the admin whom I used to email back and forth with (REMOVED) does not respond to any of my email anymore. Another person whom I talked to on the phone (REMOVED, REMOVED) does not respond to my messages anymore. Please help me get a hold of someone in Accuserve and resolve the issue. The total value for the job is about $40,000. I can not believe this is the kind of service I received with $40,000 price tag.

The original scope of work approved by insurance did not include chimney flashing. After the Insured later reported a leak, Accuserve addressed the chimney flashing under our workmanship warranty as a goodwill measure, not due to workmanship-related issues caused by the vendor.
Upon the most recent inspection, the flashing was found to be properly installed and in good condition. However, water was observed coming from above the flashing line, and staining extended higher along the wood beams and sheathing. This indicates the leak source is above the flashing through the chimney’s brick or mortar joints. Additionally, the masonry appeared wet and is retaining water, which can occur from wind-driven rain entering through the cap.
Based on these findings, the issue is not related to the roofing or flashing work performed through Accuserve and is therefore not covered under our workmanship warranty. The Insured has been notified of the denial via phone and email. We encouraged the Insured to obtain an independent inspection of the chimney. If any new information is found related to the approved scope of work, we asked the Insured to share the findings with us for our review.Initial Complaint

We initiated a warranty claim with AccuServe in 2024. Since then, the experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Our original contact, REMOVED, was frequently unavailable for weeks at a time, and she even threatened to cancel our claim when we were delayed in responding due to both of us having COVID.
At first, AccuServe insisted that the original contractor re-evaluate the issue. That contractor refused and later falsely claimed we denied them access to our property. AccuServe then sent a third-party inspector, whose repair estimate they reviewed and approved. We were told we could use our own contractor or ask them for one. When we had trouble finding someone, we asked for their help, but REMOVEDcouldn’t locate a contractor near us.
Then, our claim was handed off to a new representative named REMOVED. Since taking over, he has constantly flip-flopped—offering solutions and then taking them off the table. His final offer on 6/20/2025 to us was a cash-out settlement based on the approved third-party estimate.
Unfortunately, a health issue in our family delayed our response to that offer. When I contacted REMOVEDto accept the cash-out, he told us the offer was no longer available—despite never indicating any withdrawal of the offer. Now we’re being told to start over and let the original contractor (who already misrepresented facts) submit a new estimate.
We have extensive documentation, including emails, text messages, and voicemails, showing our consistent attempts to resolve this over the past year.

We apologize for any delays or frustrations the homeowner experienced during the handling of their warranty claim. We recognize there were times when communication was limited and that coordinating with both the original and alternate vendors presented challenges. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
After carefully reviewing the documentation and inspection photos, we've prepared a settlement offer that aligns with the homeowner’s requested amount. Our goal has always been to reach a fair and reasonable resolution. We've made several attempts to finalize the settlement and are currently awaiting a response from the homeowner.
Upon receipt of the complaint, we reached out to Mr. REMOVEDvia email and phone to address his concerns. Via email and voicemail, we advised that we are prepared to settle for his requested amount in return for a signed release related to these damages. We've attempted to reach Mr. REMOVEDon 10/6/25 and 10/9/25, and are currently pending his response.Customer Answer

I began to work with this company in 10/24; all monetary transactions were through the MSI (Millennial Specialty In’s. Company; AccuServe was assigned (via MSI) to complete reconstruction on my home after water damage. Some but not all of the work was completed. They left my home incomplete and in disarray. Even after numerous calls to this company. I have been shuffled around and lied to by various reps within this company, REMOVED, REMOVEDand many. Even with all of this, AccuServe has NEVER attempted to resolve this issue. After a certain amount of calls to each rep, they stop responding to calls and the staff lies and says they’re unavailable. Just want work completed so that this claim can be once and for all closed. This company has proven to be completely untrustworthy.

Accuserve, formerly known as Mad Sky, has caused significant distress following a storm that damaged my late mother's home, which was insured by Liberty Mutual. After paying the insurance deductible, Mad Sky assigned a contractor to assess the roof's damage.
The contractor began harassing my ailing mother, who was battling cancer, demanding payment at her door despite having my contact information. As her power of attorney, 21 hours away, I instructed him to contact Mad Sky for payment. REMOVEDand REMOVEDof Mad Sky assured me they would intervene, but the harassment continued with threats like, "Give me money now, or I will rip the roof off."
I involved local authorities, instructing my mother to secure her home and await police assistance. The work was never completed, and her health deteriorated. After her passing, I informed Accuserve, but the situation worsened, with animals entering the attic due to removed soffits and fascia.
Accuserve promised repairs, yet the contractors they sent caused further damage. They later reneged on their agreement, disputing needed repairs and failing to reimburse me for replaced security cameras. Years later, my home remains in disrepair, and Accuserve continues to breach their commitments.
Legal counsel advised contacting the Attorney General. I have lodged complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office. Accuserve's dismissive response suggests discrimination may be a factor. I am prepared to provide documentation to substantiate my claims.

REMOVEDMother) claim was processed through our program starting in March 2018. After repairs were completed in May 2018, Accuserve (formerly MadSky) was notified of the contractor's payment requests. The contractor indicated that the repairs were completed, but the deductible payment had not been received from the insured. Accuserve communicated with both the insured and the vendor to mitigate any unprofessional behavior from the vendor due to lack of payment for the deductible. Accuserve worked to collect this payment from the insured to ensure the vendor did not have any communication with the insured. Per Accuserve’s process, all claim funds are held until the insured signs a Certificate of Satisfaction. From May to August 2018, Accuserve made multiple attempts to collect this signed document, engaging in several conversations with the insured’s daughter, Ms. REMOVED. Although Ms. REMOVEDverbally agreed to sign the document, it was never returned.
During the five-year warranty period, Accuserve addressed Ms. REMOVEDconcerns to the best of our ability, despite difficulty in scheduling repairs with Ms. REMOVED. The prior warranty claim on Ms. REMOVEDhome was closed due to scheduling difficulties and communication delays.
Ms. REMOVEDrecent warranty claims led to a full review of her concerns to determine which concerns fall under the terms and conditions of the Accuserve warranty. As of May 2023, the five-year warranty period has expired. Accuserve acknowledges that some repairs were not completed properly and is willing to issue payment for those items. However, our investigation found that some of Ms. REMOVEDconcerns are not covered under the warranty, as they either did not exist before or showed damage predating any repairs by Accuserve vendors. An initial refund offer was presented to Ms. REMOVEDon August 8th, 2024, but she did not accept it. After a secondary review, no additional coverage will be provided. We tried to contact Ms. REMOVEDto confirm the final offer but have not yet reached her. We will continue our efforts to ensure she understands the final offer and are awaiting her response.Customer Answer

Complaint: REMOVED
I am rejecting this response because:
As evidenced by the attached text messages and emails, the issue at hand is not a matter of communication but rather the failure of the contractors hired by your company to either commence or complete the required work. Payments were made to these contractors by both my insurance company and Accuserve, yet in every instance, the work remained incomplete. The timeline references 2018 as the starting point, but from 2020 or 2021 to the present day in 2024, the work has still not been completed, despite my continuous and persistent communication about this matter.
I have dealt with a series of individuals, including REMOVED, REMOVED, and REMOVED, keeping them informed about the contractors' failures to show up or finish the tasks assigned to them. Each of these individuals was made aware of the ongoing issues, including instances where I was left waiting all day for contractors who never arrived, all while trying to manage another property slowly going into disrepair due to lack of maintenance that was 21 hours away. My obligation as the estate representative legally necessitated my presence, yet the contractors failed to uphold their end of the agreement.
To add insult to injury, after contractors repeatedly botched the work or failed to complete it—leading to even more extensive damage—I was eventually offered a mere $19,000 after taxes, despite an initial estimate of $60,000 by the final contractor they sent out by the name of Royal Restoration to address the issues. This amount was subsequently reduced to $30,000, only for the offer to drop further when I mentioned having a lawyer review the contracts. This behavior is not only retaliatory but punitive in the extreme, and I find it wholly unacceptable.
The situation has reached a point where, after enduring four years of delay and substandard service, I am now faced with the untenable option of selling my home just to escape this nightmare. If this is indeed the case, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the Mayor's office in the District of Columbia, the Governor of Maryland, and other relevant authorities in the tri-state area, as this company should not be permitted to conduct business in such a manner.
Further compounding the issue, due to the contractors' neglect, my home has suffered additional damage, including raccoons nesting in the attic—leading to biohazards that were never properly addressed. When I was unable to inspect the property because my mother was battling fourth-stage cancer and could not have people in her home due to the nature of her treatment protocol, the situation was exacerbated by a worker who threatened her with physical violence. Although the company apologized and assured me that this individual would not return, the work was still never completed.
Now, to offer a meager $19,000 as a resolution to all this is utterly unacceptable. The estimate provided, and which the company refused to pay, was $60,000, with a subsequent estimate of around $30,000. Whilst they due owe me a reimbursement check for about $3,000 as they agreed to do for replacing the security cameras myself even that would not absolve them of the liability for their workers. Their sudden reluctance to address the matter once a lawyer was mentioned clearly demonstrates a punitive and retaliatory stance. The individual who extended this unacceptable offer was a woman named Kimberly, and I must firmly refuse this as an adequate solution. I expect a far more reasonable and fair offer than what has been proposed, and I will not tolerate any attempt to shift the blame onto me or my beloved mother.
Sincerely,

The man who threatened my mother with physical violence, and further expressed his intention to vandalize and intentionally damage the home, regrettably carried out those ominous threats. We find ourselves, years later, still entangled in the repercussions of his actions. Only Mr. Romine and I remain as witnesses to the dark threats issued by Mr. Castillo, who, in a menacing manner, intended to direct those statements towards my late mother during a phone call. He returned to execute the damage while my mother was at Georgetown Hospital undergoing a scan to monitor the progression of her cancer.
This company’s attempt to appease us with a meager offering is reminiscent of the post-Civil War treatment of freed slaves and the hollow promise of "Forty acres and a mule," which was part of Special Field Orders No. 15, proclaimed by Union General William T. Sherman on January 16, 1865. This wartime order aimed to allocate land to some freed families, only for the promise to be swiftly rescinded, leaving them in an even more dire situation. Similarly, we are now faced with an inadequate solution that does nothing to address the gravity of the situation, and indeed, it leaves us in a worse position than where we began.

We received REMOVEDcomplaint and have conducted a thorough review of his claim. Upon being notified of his concerns with his flooring, Accuserve coordinated an inspection from a vendor at no charge. This inspection confirmed that the flooring was installed correctly and revealed no workmanship concerns.
At the onset of REMOVEDinsurance claim, we sent a sample of the original flooring to Itel for analysis to determine the best match for like, kind, and quality. The flooring recommended from this analysis was installed. The inspection completed by the vendor showed no cause for concern with the material integrity.
When the flooring was initially installed in April 2023, the vendor provided photo documentation of the completed repairs. This documentation showed no signs of damage to the newly installed flooring. However, the inspection conducted on May 16, 2024 after the notice of concern, indicated secondary damage not related to the initial claim, workmanship, or material defects.
Regarding the concerns about our representative who communicated the inspection findings to REMOVED, we reviewed the recorded call thoroughly. At no point did she instruct him to complain to Allstate. She stated "If you have any further questions, please contact Allstate." Before notifying REMOVEDof the investigation results, we reviewed all findings with his carrier, who concurred with our analysis that the damage is not a warranty matter.Initial Complaint

Our home was damaged by hail on 06-07-2022. We called the insurance company, filed a claim and were issued a contractor by the name of REMOVEDOriginally we just wanted to take the check from the insurance and hire our own people to do the work but REMOVEDmade it seem that she had to sign the contract that was presented to her and that we had to use his people. Once the contract was signed they did the roof first right away and did an incomplete/unprofessional job and cut a lot of corners. then they installed our siding and during that time there was a point where a hole remained exposed for almost 3 weeks because REMOVEDsaid they were waiting to get siding matched, as well as informing my mother in law that she had to spend a certain amount of money on our garage, that got the least of the damage, in order to complete all siding. once we got that resolved they in stalled my siding but it looks wavy and damaged. next they replaced our windows including windows that did not need replacing that are now falling apart and the screens are coming out so i cant even open my windows because bugs will get it on top of i cant close my storm windows when it rains so i then get water that comes in my window when it rains. lastly they did work on my front door but it was left in a state of horror. they took my door frame off and left it as well and filling gaps with foam. we have tried to contacted them but now the insurance says they are a different company now and because they have a warranty the insurance won't/can't help. they charged the insurance company for things that were not replaced or done and pocketed almost 7,000, Ive tried to call REMOVEDbut they never get back to me or if they do they tell me that they need pictures and proof which i have sent to the numbers they give me and its a never ending circle.

Hello i wanted to submit this inspection report I had done by a company I sought out and they wrote this report up for me to show the unprofessional work that was done and all the repairs that would need to take place. In addition I also wanted to note that the price originally submitted was not correct and I was quoted between 75,000 to 100,000 in repairs and potential damages done from the improper installation and unprofessional ism of the contractors Accuserve referred us to. there have been at least 10 heavy rains since I filed this complaint to get my house fixed and my house is just getting worst and worse. my windows all fogged up the other day and that just isn't right.Customer Answer

The response for complaint REMOVEDis REJECTED!
This company refuses to honor there warranty. The contractor referred by our insurance company did more harm than good with the repairs. Only one side of my house received new siding which is wavy and looks worse than the siding that was on the house that was at least 15 years old. 5 of 27 storm windows were broken, he removed all 27 from my house and replaced all of them with lesser quality frames, glass and screens. So essentially 22 perfectly good windows were stolen from my home. He stole trim off of my front door. They replaced the roof on my garage and sided two sides of it when nothing was supposed to be done on the garage until the house repairs were completed. He then claimed to have replaced both garage doors which were not approved to be replaced and were not replaced. When we complained to accuserve they gave us the run around. Eventually someone who was a supposed third party inspector did come and take pictures and supposedly filed a report for accuserve. Accuserve said nothing was wrong with the work but they will not provide a copy of that inspection to us stating we do not have the right to it as it is for their internal information and use only and it is there property. Now that we have filed a complaint with the BBB they are offering options to make amends. None of which are acceptable nor trustworthy. If nothing was wrong then provide the third party report. I expect a full refund of my original claims value, all damages caused by the contractor to be covered and all my windows replaced with the same quality materials.

Accuserve is in direct communication with the named insured, Ms. Tompsett-Welch, and the complainant, REMOVED(daughter-in-law of named insured). The complaint was not filed by the named insured and was filed by the daughter-in-law. When we spoke with the named insured after the filing of the BBB complaint, the named insured stated she had no knowledge of the complaint and that this had not been discussed with her previously. On July 10th, we provided all available options for completing the remaining repairs to the named insured. According to our conversation with the daughter-in-law on Monday July 22nd, she advised Accuserve that they have sourced their own contractor, who is scheduled to visit the property this week to provide an itemized estimate for the repairs.
The current documentation submitted to Accuserve does not reflect the extent of damages claimed by the daughter-in-law. Therefore, we have requested additional documentation. Accuserve is committed to ensuring that all claim approved repairs are completed and any verified warranty concerns are addressed. We will continue to collaborate with the named insured as all repair decisions must be made by her.Customer Answer

Hi REMOVED,
It was great meeting you and your kiddos! They are so precious
Okay, so here is the deal…as I mentioned to you, we can’t know what we can’t see.
Feel free to send all or what is below to the insurance company or former company who installed this.
We won’t know any possible damage to under siding and or windows, until we tear off siding around windows and remove wraps.
Since you are getting water inside around some
windows, and there is fogging happening on most windows, it sounds to me
as though they were not installed correctly or sealed properly.
That could be a large expense on its own. Most
installers are charging $450 – 500 for small to medium windows. Many of
the windows could be 3 across and mulled together. I can’t tell for
sure without wraps gone. So I have to price it
as individual windows.
If they are 3 across but 1 unit, those would be
considered large windows, so the price would be closer to $600-750 per
window. That would be removing them and reinstalling them again, making
sure shims were in place, where needed, proper
foam installation and sealing them up outside by using flashing at the
top and butyl tape around the sides and bottom.
Were these windows suppose to be full replacement
windows? Or did insurance expect pocket windows to be used? Original
installer or contractor should have provided an actual window bid to
insurance company, which they almost always approve,
to replace all windows down to the studs, as a full window replacement.
If these are pocket windows, there will be leaking
continually as they are placed inside the original window frame and will
shift and allow water inside.
Then the siding is installed after window and front
door issue is resolved. The front door looks horrible. They didn’t
trim down the foam around the door, so the trim should be over that and
closed off to weather.
I don’t think the front door requires
reinstallation, however, it needs some work to finish it. And I am
unsure if flashing and tape was placed around this door as it should
have before siding installed.
There could be wood, drywall or other issues inside
the walls if water is coming in and window area is wet inside. I can’t
know the fix or cost of that fix until siding is removed and wrap
first, and quite possibly removal of window and
reinstall it.
I have put in a miscellaneous qty of 5 at $250 for
some work to be done around windows and doors, but this amount would not
cover removal and installation of any windows or doors.
It is possible that a good portion of the siding
could be reused and reinstalled. However, some of it, now that it has
waves/bowed in it, J channel is bowed out, may not be reusable. Also,
many pieces appear to be not locked properly,
and could require new material to be purchased to cover these sections.
It also appeared to me that on the back elevation
and the left elevation (when facing the front of the house) the top 2
panels are very dirty, as if they are been there for many years. It
doesn’t appear that this siding was replaced.
There were other areas on the gables, that also
don’t appear to be replaced, and pieces are coming off. The gables on
the back elevation, the D-Rakes look bent up and not installed
correctly.
This presents problems. I was told this siding,
which appears to be Vytek, is no longer being made. CertainTeed bought
this out. Unless there is a pile of this color somewhere, it wouldn’t
be fair for the homeowner, the insurance paid
for a full house siding replacement, to have to accept a puzzle piece
siding done of her house.
Original installer/contractor should verify the
brand is Vytek, it is D4 clapboard, I am unsure of the strength, appears
to be .040 or .042.
Most areas feel as though there is no insulation
behind siding. Without seeing the paperwork for the claim, I can’t say
if insurance paid for this, or if it wasn’t installed.
However, all reputable installers recommend using
at least ½” fanfold insulation to be installed to prevent warping,
bowing and sagging of vinyl during weather changes. This option should
have been made available to homeowners before installing
siding, even at their own cost.
Due to the very poorly installed siding and wraps,
the entire house requires at least reinstallation of the same siding,
possibly with additional new siding to be used where it was not or is
bowed or warped. Also removal of all wraps and
reinstall wraps around windows and doors.
Removal of most, if not all gable fascia and install new fascia, check and reinstall or provide new D-rake for rear gables.
Thank you!
