Booked a stay for may 17th to the 19th. When I got there all you could smell was very strong cleaner. tried giving it a chance but it was one problem after the next. fridge didn't work, had bottom level room where the lock on balcony was broken, the smell of cleaner was so strong, lastly when trying to go to bed the bed was super itchy and I left after that and ended up itching all night. very overpriced and outdated. Was only there for 3 hours. I want a refund.

I booked 5 rooms for August 11th -13th. I called on August 10th and spoke to *** to inquire about cancelling a few rooms due to some of my guests maybe not being able to make the trip. *** told me that it has to be 48 hours before the check in date to cancel. I said that I thought that it was 24 hours ahead to be able to cancel without penalty. *** angrily started to tell me the rules and that there is nothing she could do to help me. She begrudgingly gave me the email to send my request to.

After speaking to ***, I started trying to confirm the guests, again, that could make it to the trip, compared to those that couldn't. Before I could even re-confirm my guests' attendance, immediately after our conversation, *** charges all of my cards that the rooms had been booked under. I confirmed during any communication with the hotel that I could pay upon check-in. I was always told that I will be charged upon check-in. I called back and asked **** why my cards were charged. She let me know that they have the right to charge my cards anytime they want to. She at least could have given me a moment to rearrange rooms to be able to have enough guests and payments before blindly charging my cards 24 hours before I even got there.

Since the rooms were paid for (3 room's payments were received for one night), we decided to check in and try to make the most of the situation. We arrived, checked in, and FOUND AN INFESTATION OF FLEAS IN OUR ROOMS! We quickly gathered our things. As I was walking to the desk, a family of 3 was in the parking lot talking about their room being full of fleas, also. There was no reason to think that I wasn't telling the truth at all. The maintenance person and *** went to the rooms. Came back and said that they didn't see anything.

It's been a month and I haven't gotten a phone call or an email response about any kind of refund. We weren't able to stay there and had to pay another hotel. Please help me get my refund!
