My wife and I had our kitchen fully remodeled in Nov. 2020 during Covid. Granite Transf. installed all NEW Cabinet Doors , refaced the base of the cabinets and new Granite Countertop and Backsplash to the tune of almost 20k. We were given a 5 year Warranty. My wife notice in early March of 2024 that 2 of the cabinet doors had warping and bubbling of the doors. I went to our original store in Farmington HIlls , Mi. right down the road from our house to show them the damage and request they come out, look at and replace the doors, since we are still within our 5 year warranty. When I got there our Installer store had moved or gone out of business. The building was empty. I called several Granite Transf. stores and was finally told to contact Granite Trans. in Dayton had taken over their accounts. I first spoke to the office mgr. Kelsey who after looking at the pictures told me that I should have gotten a HEAT SHIELD. I asked why would I need a Heat Shield and your salesperson or installer should have suggested it but I asked why unless this was inferior material used in the making of the doors. I have purchase 40 different properties over 45 years and have NEVER had cabinets do this before. Then another person identified as the Mgr Brendon told me to call Decorative Specialties , who was the Wholesaler who made the cabinets.The lady he told me to speak to was upset , because she said we are wholesalers and do not talk to clients. She said that Corporate had been notified. After 2 weeks I tried calling back to Brendon and Kelsey and neither returned my calls . After 6 attempts , I called Corporate many times and the didn't return my calls. Dayton told me they would replace the doors at a cost of $275 ea. I asked what if this happens again? Do I keep buying doors every 2 years? I would like to have my 2 doors replaced at no cost since they are still under warranty and Granite Trans. Publicly noted as being people who show up late and have inferior products. Thank you.

We bought a countertop overlay from this company in 2022. At the time of purchase, the sales person informed us that there was a "Lifetime" warranty on it. Well, somehow the countertop was chipped. I called the company, sent them photos of the chip only to have them tell me I must pay not only for the repair, a cost of $100.00 per hour but, also a trip charge of $75.00. I highly recommend you run from this company.
