**** ***** the owner said the company could swap out a motor in my mustang at cost plus discounted labor. The understanding was we I could slowly make payments for said repairs. This is a farse. Jacks wife ****** who is incompetent in her own right began harassing me as to paying off the bill. Note: while she was harassing me for full payment, the car was not right as the check engine light was on at delivery back to me, back in the shop daily where i constantly paid for new parts out of pocket in hopes one of the mechanics had a wave of competence was over them. The harassment continued so I was guilted into taking out a loan through ******* ( A buy here pay here source of financing auto repair) (Loan Shark) 110% interest. The monthly payment being over 700 Dollars. Flash forward.... THE CAR IS STILL NOT FIXED!!!! BUT REPAIRS PAID FOR!!! and car still has trouble codes. Trouble codes that if left un repaired could result in further engine damage. I would not trust the to change a tire

    Greetings,

The following complaint is completely twisted in facts. First off I request that the BBB review previous complaints IE. Complaint lodge recently about a **** person making personal threats to another individual. As the complaint was not with in the BBB prevue it was dropped. This particular complaint has a direct correlation  to this complaint  because the **** person is the one and same person who has now filed 2 Bogus complaints against the company with the BBB. Mr. ******** ******* Leach  previously employed by the company now separated used the company ability to repair his own vehicle as the directing service advisor in the company. He did the repair at a zero profit margin to the company by ordering his own repair parts and labor direction to the technician. Obviously if you review the closed complaint you will understand some of the outstanding issues created by the complainant.  One of the complaints lodged appears to be in duplicate. I believe an attempt to fraud the BBB as it appears to  be the complainants son also weighting in. 2 Brothers reached out ** ***** the son who has no knowledge of the issue or complaint stating "that car was fine" complainant is angry is due to the separation from the company.  The complaint is completely with out merit and is solely based on the fact the the complaint is separated from the company. The BBB and complainant are more than welcome to continue to communicate how ever 2 Brothers will not continue to participate in the meritless claim. Complainant is more than welcome to send any accompanied proof to support his claim. Be advised the complaintant does appear to have an interesting public record legal history that is glaring.

[If you do not say why you are rejecting the company's response, BBB must close your complaint.]
I am rejecting this response because: The owner is erroneous in his defamatory comments that I am stalking his current employees. 1. That is irrelevant to my original complaint of crappy repair work. The issue is multifold between myself and this business, the issue herein is well within the jurisdiction of the BBB. As for any reviews that have been made on various review sites, those are a venue for CUSTOMERS to voice how there product or service experience was and my reviews are consistent with this BBB complaint. Bottom line is they were paid in full for a repairand gave vehicle back with issues thatbwould have been corrected in the paid repair work. Instead I entrusted what the tech was saying was the issue. I don't think locking pliers are part of the turbo rod and this bent the turbo rod resulting in the need for a new blow off valve. This business can either refund the money or I sue for this repair and other non bbb issues. What this company did was clear fraud and never had intention on repairing the vehicle as paid.

    Regards,

The company, 2 Brothers Automotive is in possession of all repair orders and has since been foreclosed upon by *************** and did a urgent middle of the night move out. Neither ***** will communicate and I have text messages and the power of subpeona to obtain depositions form mechanics. I also have text messages showing conversation between myself and ***** on the high interest rate repair loan i had to take out to pay for the repairs contained in the complaint going back to June 21, 2024. I also could obtain pictures of the  old engine out and new engine going in while it was in the 2 brothers repair bays. I am requesting this help from the BBB because the company has ceased and communication with me on this or any of the other 10 issues i have with this company. I could have a dealer look at it and tell me cost to repair if needed.

Took my truck in for an alignment. Instead they told me I needed a whole new front end I had just put struts and two ball joints on this truck. Anyways, I said to go ahead and do the work if it needed done to align my truck, they done the work then told me my truck was too big for their alignment rack never even told me that they did not align my truck and I would’ve never known except for my steering wheel being crooked anyways they just charged me for it. I had a friend working there that had told me what happened so when I started complaining and took my truck back to different times, they told me it was too big for their rack and sent me to another shop to get it aligned, this was the third vehicle. I had there all three vehicles never got fixed. One vehicle lasted one day and the heat shield started rattling again. I had also bought a van from them with the only deal they would fix the shaking. They had it four times could not fix the shaking told us we had to deal with it. They would not fix it because they think it might be electrical problem so now we got stuck with a van that does not drive that we paid good money for. This place is nothing but crooks that carry guns around all the time and I’m sure that’s because of all their bad business

I took my **** ***** ***** RL in to **** ***** Custom Auto Repair. He said he didn't have a lift to do the work. he said the main seal was leaking. He referred me to 2 Brothers, and told me they said they could replace rear main seal for $1052. I took it in to them on the 19th or 20th. They called and said it would be a little more, and I ended up paying $1532. To replace the rear main seal, they had to unbolt the transmission and slide it back to get to the seal, and my receipt says that. my receipt also says I was charged for transmission fluid.

I picked it up at closing on Wednesday. After I paid them, and began driving on the freeway, the car quit.  I was able to pull into the Sunoco on Hudson. I called them, and they sent a tow truck. It was about an hour later when the tow truck driver, ***** ******, came out, he and I checked for transmission fluid, and found none. ***** and I both took pictures on our phone of the dry dipstick. He took the car back to the 2 Brothers shop.

When I arrived in the morning, they had the car on the lift, and said it had fluid in it. They kept it for 2 days, then called **** ***** Custom Auto Repair to say they were returning it to him as he had delivered it to them.

I went to **** ***** to pick it up, but it would not move. I gave **** the keys saying it doesn't move. **** agreed they messed it up. **** called them and they wouldn't talk to him.

The cost of the repairs could be approximately $6000 for parts and labor.

I have made multiple calls to the shop, but they no longer take my calls.

The customer complaint is erroneous due in fact that the vehicle repair was in fact a sight unseen quote made to **** ***** another repair facility attempting a sublet job/repair. Mr. ***** both requested 2 Brothers Automotive to provide a quote and Mr. ***** delivered the vehicle to 2 Brothers Automotive Facility personally requesting 2 Brothers perform a rear main seal job on complainant's vehicle, who is also a business entity selling cars for profit as or like a USED AUTO dealer, not a consumer.  Prior to 2 Brothers Automotive performing the directed repair (meaning 2 Brothers Automotive did not diagnosis nor imply the operating standards of the vehicle in question only directed repair of what in fact THEY wanted performed) 2 Brothers Automotive noted an array of problems with this vehicle upon overall inspection key in point multiple other leaks present as well as transmission codes present and all fluids being very low. Technician notes states added almost 4 quarts of fluid to transmission as it did not register on stick, not discounting the fact the vehicle presented with previous transmission codes present upon delivery. This all being said all entities are businesses that are operating as for profit as such. 2 Brothers Automotive will be happy to provide all parties contact information to the State of Ohio Business Gateway to confirm other identities, EIN's and taxable information available.
