I went into the dealership on August 27th to get me a car. i was rushed through the process to get this 2020 kia forte gt. as we look at the car the car had to be jumped. we waited a few hours and then it started to run. that should have been a red flag. the sales man stated the car was basically brand new and never had an issue with it. 24 days later the car has a engine light on and wont pass 40 mph. i came in on 09/24/2022 to turn the car in and ask to get it check out. i was told it will not get fixed until tuesday due to the warrenty. the car is under 50,000 miles so the car is under kia warrenty and my warrenty is actoved after my CONTRACT is finalized. i wasnt able to get a loaner and missed work. i decided to let it go and go on monday to ask a manger. when i came in to asked a manger. they sent me a sale manger and then they tried to make me do a trade in value for my kia. i told them i would not like to keep this car and they said financially we are unable to due to it being 31 days. it has been 29 days. i got a loaner now however i only had 60 miles on the car. i call services and here no answers. the service lady answers and then put people on hold and then hang up. i attempt to call many times with NO ANSWER BACK> every attempt i made they told me its after my contract and its been a full 31-32 days so we are no longer to cancel it. my rights feel invalid and disrespected and hurt.

They sold me a car with a lean on it without my knowledge, and refuse to let me exchange the car without refinancing it. I want either my car title or a new vehicle.

On Friday September 2nd 2022 I went to Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet. I ended up trading in my current vehicle and getting a 2018 Dodge Challenger. When it was all said and done it was $40k +. The business was closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday for Labor Day. Friday night I started to have problems with the one Key fob they gave me. I attempted to use the emergency key inside the fob and found that the way wasn’t even cut. So I could not get into the vehicle, I got a ride to a local store to get a battery for the fob. Saturday morning I attempted to get situs dm set up and it wouldn’t acquire a signal. Nor would the FM or AM channels come in. I waited until the above business opened up on Tuesday and took the vehicle in. I informed them of my problems and they gave me in writing peroxides of repair. They then told me since they were a Chevrolet dealer. They didn’t have the machines to run diagnostics on a Dodge. They had me take it to a Dodge dealer in Canal Winchester. My appointment was for Thursday September 8th 2022. Upon inspection at that dealership it was determined that. It was missing a brake light and that not only was there wires ripped out to the antenna fob. But the keyless immobilizer needed replaced. The mechanic said it looked to be attempted theft. As this is what controls the navigation coordinates of where the vehicle is. Upon learning this I called Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet and they told me I had to pay the fee for the diagnostic. After some arguing I got them to pay the bill and returned to the dealership. I presented them with what the dealership quoted and they said they would call their “radio guy.” They called this guy in on Tuesday and he showed up, he is not a Mark Wahlberg employee. He is someone who does this on the side. My concern is when these repair are made is it warranty work. The immobilizer is a safety feature installed by the manufacturer as a anti theft device. So on alegality basis, how can the sell a vehicle with all of this removed?

I am rejecting this response because: I just spoke with their shop and was told they haven’t even had my vehicle in the shop yet to begin work. I bought this car 12 Days ago and they’ve had it now 6 of those 12 Days. So the response that the repairs are being made with was given on Friday is a flat out lie.

I was talked into buying the extended power train warranty for a vehicle I purchased. I was told it covered all powertrain and electrical repairs. I dropped my car off at their dealership two days ago and was told today that it doesnt cover my rear seal gasket leak or my oil pressure sensor. I was misinformed about the coverage so they could profit from the price of the warranty. After speaking with the warranty company apparently it wont cover much so I was completely ripped off.

I am rejecting this response because: there was no answer to my complaint. That is the same info I have. I believe i was over charged on labor fees and they also threw a 40.00 charge for some BS service in there that I was unaware of.

I put a down payment on a car for a total of $1750.00 on 4/20/2021 then I needed a co signer for the truck and was not able to find one so I back out of the buy due to that. I went on vacation for 1 month and when I got back I went up to mark Wahlberg Chevrolet and tried to get my refund for the down payment. I had used 2 different cards and one was a tax card and it was in active when I went to get the refund. So the guy told me that he would have someone contact me about issuing a check for the remaining balance which was $1250.00 cause they refunded $500.00 dollars that day. He said that he had to get the remainder approved to issue the refund and someone would contact me. That was over a year ago I've made multiple phone calls to this business and have talked to a couple different managers and everytime I get a run around by transferring me to another manager and then I leave a message and don't receive a call back. The down payment deal number on the receipt is 117576. I've even contacted the corporate office and they too sent me to a voicemail and I left a message and nobody called me back as well. I just want my money back from the down payment and some people told me that the bbb would help with this. I don't even have a new car from them then had to use the remainder of my savings to put down money for another car!! My family and I have been in hardship ever since I emptied out my savings for this and all's they do is send me to voicemail everytime I contacted them so.

I am rejecting this response because:

The card was my mother's card that I used and you can do all the verification that you want but I paid the total amount for the down payment. And how is it that this is the first time that I have heard of this and why everytime I call the company and they dick me around playing phone tag with managers instead of telling someone that was the issue?? My mother's name has the same last name as me her name is ******* ******* and the card was a tax card and when I came back for the refund the card was inactive so your company said they could issue a check for it. **** ****** was my salesman and I went on a test drive and everything so it could have never been a fraudulent charge!!

The Card used for this transaction was flagged for fraud, the card holder must contact the General manager directly to discuss this further as the dealership must uphold all privacy regulations and identity security measures.
