MORE THOROUGH INFO IN WORD ATTACHMENT I bought my 2021 **** F-250 truck in 2023 from Wahlberg Chevrolet and purchased an extended warranty with it. I am a self-employed landscaper and this is the only vehicle for my small business, ************** Feb 3, I took the truck to Wahlberg about leaking from the transmission. The warranty I purchased covered the replacement of the torque converter seal. I picked it up on Mar 6. The next day, I saw a pool of fluid underneath my truck in the driveway. I took ************** of the leaking. I brought it back to Wahlberg on Mon, Mar 9. I showed them the video and photos. They inspected my truck and told me the leaking was normal and would eventually stop on its own. On March 20, the truck broke down while I was driving it on my mowing route. I had it towed back to Wahlberg. They didnt have any loaner vehicles available, but said that I would be reimbursed for a rental if I wanted to get one. I rented a truck from Enterprise that day so I could continue working. Wahlberg finished the repair on April 17. They replaced the transmission, which was covered by the extended warranty. They told me I needed to file for reimbursement of the rental from SWRE Customer Reimbursements.I returned my rental truck to Enterprise Car Rental on April 17. The total cost of my rental was $2,449.22, and so far I've paid $49.62 in interest on that expense. I filed for reimbursement on April 21. On May 20, I was approved for $150 "reimbursement." I called the phone number provided and was told the $150 was for my time going to get the rental, and that the cost of the actual rental should be covered by Wahlberg. I returned to Wahlberg to speak with the manager, *****, who said the truck was fixed and he wasnt going to help me any further. I hope the BBB can hold Wahlberg accountable for their errors and deceit, and that I eventually receive the reimbursement I was promised: $2348.84, the cost of the rental and interest, less the $150 from SWRE.Business Response

Please send me me the communication from the reimbursement . There is no dealership that has reimbursement for a rental vehicle that is the service contract that handles and it states clearly on the contract what that reimbursement is.Business Response

Complaint: 23377157
I am rejecting this response because: the repair was not fixed properly the first time, which led me to the second repair, which never should have been necessary. When I expressed that I was upset about the situation, I was told repeatedly by **** ********************** representatives that I would be reimbursed by them for the rental. If no dealerships offer reimbursement for replacement rentals, **** ********************** representatives never should have promised that I would be. The communication about the reimbursement from SWRE was attached with my original complaint. In a follow-up phonecall, the **** representative told me that they do not reimburse for rentals, but that the $150 I received was to pay for my time going to get the rental. They also indicated that **** ********************** would be the appropriate reimburser for the rental expenses, which is what I was told by **** ********************** representative.

Complaint: 23377157
I am rejecting this response because: the only reason I needed the rental was because Wahlberg didn't repair it correctly the first time and didn't listen to me when I returned with video footage of the leak. They told me it was normal and sent me away until I broke down because of the problem less than two weeks later. I don't know what's standard practice and what isn't when it comes to repair shops covering rental costs, so I believed the representatives when they told me my rental would be covered. Each time my vehicle was at Wahlberg, the repair was completed several weeks after the "promise date" included on the invoice. The original repair took a month and then failed, the representatives wouldn't address it when I brought it back to them, causing a breakdown on the highway with a loaded trailer the following week, and necessitating a second lengthy repair in the shop. When I expressed my frustration and concern for my ability to run my business, I was told a rental would be covered. And this promise was repeated each week during the repair when I called to check on the truck to find out if I had to renew the rental. If standard practice is to NOT cover a rental in this circumstance, the Wahlberg representatives never should have led me to believe that it would be. I'd like Wahlberg to be held accountable for their shoddy repair, poor service, and deceit.

As stated previously there is no rental reimbursement from the dealership. The only reimbursement would come from the service contract company. If you were promised that then please send that info over with the communication so I can review.Customer Answer

Complaint: 23377157
I am rejecting this response because:*** was my service provider. The guy with the face blemish his whole face is red like hes been burned or has a skin condition. He was the one working the desk and who always helped me. When I returned to Wahlberg to ask about the $150 reimbursement I received for a $2500 expense, I spoke with the manager, and this man with the face blemish was next to him confirming that I was promised reimbursement but the manager shooed him away and said I should be happy I got a new transmission. I got a new transmission because Wahlberg didn't fix it properly the first time AND I've been paying each month on an extended warranty to cover such repairs.
Again, when I called the reimbursement company about the $150 on $2500 expense, I was told that they don't reimburse for rentals at all, but that the $150 was for my time going to get the rental and returning the rental to the rental company.
All I'm trying to do is hold **** Wahlberg accountable for keeping at least one promise they made. The first "repair" was promised to be completed within days, and it took a month. They did not listen when I returned with photos, video, and a leaking transmission, and instead sent me on my way to break down with a loaded trailer on the highway a little more than a week later. They promised the second repair would be completed within a week, and it took a month again. They promised reimbursement of the rental costs and I've received $150 on a $2500 rental bill. I still do not understand why they never had a loaner available at any point during either repair, but I've basically floated the cost of the rental for them because they couldn't provide one. And now I've now spent hours trying to get them to make good on their promise.

As stated the dealership never does rental reimbursement that is a warranty company deal. If there is correspondence of this promise, please send. Without that I will not reimburse thisCustomer Answer

Complaint: 23377157
I am rejecting this response because:The name of the person who helped me every week is **** ******, not ***. Ive found his business card, which he gave me when he said that I would be reimbursed for the rental. Hes the one with the face blemish who I spoke with every week. All of this communication was by phone. It didnt occur to me that I should be collecting evidence (written agreement) for a promise that seemed to me to be completely reasonable.
What I do have is evidence that my truck was fixed the first time, evidence that it was not actually fixed, evidence that I broke down on a busy highway with a loaded trailer, evidence that it took over a month for each repair, evidence that I rented a vehicle (at the direction of **** ****** who promised reimbursement), and evidence that I have been reimbursed less than 10% of the rental cost.
This is about Wahlberg taking accountability for not fixing the truck correctly the first time or the second time, and then making a promise that the rental would be reimbursed. Obviously, though, this is going no where except in circles. I am not satisfied, this issue is not resolved.

I am formally documenting a critical issue: The dealership has unilaterally charged my credit card over $3,000 WITHOUT my authorization, for alleged "damages" to a loaner vehicle.
This unauthorized financial action raises serious legal concerns:
- No prior consent was obtained
- No documented proof of damages exists
- Charge appears retaliatory and punitive
Simultaneously, the dealership refuses accountability for:
- Significant mechanical issues with my purchased vehicle
- Problems directly resulting from their recall service
- Non-functional critical vehicle systems
- Transmission and OnStar module failures
Documented Vehicle Issues:
- No pre-existing problems UNTIL their service interventions
- ************** created multiple system failures
- Battery replacement forced after service
- OnStar module inoperable
- Transmission parts indefinitely backordered
Their unauthorized charge and persistent deflection demonstrate a clear pattern of unethical business practices.
I am prepared to pursue all legal remedies to address these ongoing violations.Primary Concerns:
1. My vehicle has ongoing, unresolved mechanical defects2. ************** created additional problems
3. Critical vehicle systems remain non-functional4. Promised repairs have not been completed
Regarding the Loaner Vehicle:
Their claim is entirely irrelevant to the documented mechanical failures of my purchased vehicleThe loaner provided was not comparable to my original vehicle, which violates standard customer service protocols
The dealership continues to:
Avoid addressing substantial mechanical issuesRefuse proper warranty service
Attempt to shift blame through unsubstantiated allegations
I remain committed to resolving these legitimate mechanical concerns through appropriate legal channels.Customer Answer

To start this off I drive from ****************** 700 miles one way to purchase a NEW 2023 ***** Colorado ZR2 Desert Boss edition from this dealership.
All that went fine except for my off road light bar didn't work they could not figure out why it wouldn't work. But told me no worries because it would be under warranty and I could bring it to my Local ***** dealership to fix it. When I got back home to ******* had truck scheduled at my dealership to get my off road light bar fixed. Key ***** fixed it was a blown 60amp fuse no charge under warranty. So then I got back in touch with OHIO dealer who sold truck to me about the extra cargo tie down rings that I purchased on the window sticker for the truck for $120 which I NEVER got. They wanted me to take pics of truck bed to prove I didn't get them. I did take pics and sent by text and still have not gotten any response back from them.
Have another problem brought my Truck to my local ***** dealer to have an oil change and tire Rotation. Well they told me my Truck has a newer style locking lug nuts on it and can't get them off because they need the Key and they don't have the Master key for that style Locking lugs. Well I never got the Key with the truck when I bought it. Told this dealership in **** about the problem and all they say is tell my dealership to figure it out. Pretty much saying it's not there problem. Have filed complaint with *********** service and that has gone NOWHERE!
So that's why I'm filing a complaint with you because MY Local dealer can't get locking Lugs off and the dealer in **** is doing nothing to get this problem fixed. I have been told by two local ***** dealers they might be able to get them off but will damage the rims. Those rims I was told cost $3000. to replace because they were up graded rims for truck package. If I get a FLAT tire I'm pretty much screwed.

We bought our 2016 **** truck in March of 2024, it was said to be in good working order bought the extended warrenty to go with it. Drove it home and the 1st month the water pump went out and engine light came on. The water pump costed 350 to fix which I fought the dealership to pay for that because they kept telling me the warrenty dont start till 30 days after I have the truck. But the engine light never went off. Drive it another month it got summer the air conditioner don't work. Take it to get it fixed 220 dollars todo that and they also told me reason engine light is on is because there is a hose dangling that is not attached to anything and sending an emissions code and I am loosing gas millage because of it which should have been seen and fixed by the dealership. Drove it another month the antifreeze box went out leaking antifreeze and over heated my truck leaving me stranded on side of road, cost with tow 450 dollars to fix that. Drove it 2 weeks over heats again leaving us on side of road it's still leaking antifreeze took it to a dealership they said I need a new turbo and lines 3000 to fix it it's still in the shop Because of it then they call me and said I also need the ehaust manifold fixed another 2000 dollars. And the warrenty I bought won't cover it because the dealership says it's rust and corrosion that causes it well the trucks not super old but i was also never told it had any rust or anything wrong with it. So I know I bought a used car but to pay ***** dollars for a truck that I had only 6 months and 3 of those months it had been in the shop and have almost costed me 6000 something is wrong here. I tryed to talk to dealership they said there is nothing they can do other then have me trade it in and if I get the stuff fixed on the truck they would give me ***** for it so your telling me in 6 months it went down ***** in value. So they overpriced the truck and sold me junk.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I never received a copy of the repair order from this business through ground mail or email in regard to the repairs along with no information being uploaded to ******. Nor saying when the warranty on these pairs were up in consideration that I did not receive the truck till 2 months after I purchased it. This business reached back out with only close to 4 days before the deadline of what they say the warranty ended. Asking about mileage but never returned an email after that. I put my trust in this dealership to fix a problem that the vehicle came with. The fix they did lasted less a year.

I responded to an ad on the dealership website for a car at an advertised price. This particular car is eligible for the Federal $4,000 tax credit on electified used vehicles--a tax credit that is not available to all buyers. I spoke with a sales agent from the dealership, and he explained that the advertised price already accounts for the tax credit, a qualification that is not stated anywhere on the ad page nor on a link to that listing on Carfax.com. This is deceptive advertising. Here is a link to the ad on their website: ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: i am under zero obligation for any debt per usc 18 subsection 8 you have also violated the truth in lending act by requiring cash or other fund from the consumer, because under the ******* :The term creditor refers only to a person who both (1) regularly extends,
whether in connection with loans, sales of property or services, or otherwise,
consumer credit which is payable by agreement in more than four installments or for
which the payment of a finance charge is or may be required, and (2) is the person
to whom the debt arising from the consumer credit transaction is initially payable on
the face of the evidence of indebtedness or, if there is no such evidence of
indebtedness, by agreement. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, in the case of
an open-end credit plan involving a credit card, the card issuer and any person who
honors the credit card and offers a discount which is a finance charge are creditors.
The term credit sale refers to any sale in which the seller is a creditor. The
term includes any contract in the form of a bailment or lease if the bailee or lessee
contracts to pay as compensation for use a sum substantially equivalent to or in
excess of the aggregate value of the property and services involved and it is agreed
that the bailee or lessee will become, or for no other or a nominal consideration has
the option to become, the owner of the property upon full compliance with his
obligations under the contract. The adjective consumer, used with reference to a credit transaction,
characterizes the transaction as one in which the party to whom credit is offered or
extended is a natural person, and the money, property, or services which are the
subject of the transaction are primarily for personal, family, or household purposes. The Truth in Lending Act defines a finance charge as the dollar amount of the cost of consumer credit. It includes any charge that is imposed by the creditor as a condition of extending credit, and that is paid directly or indirectly by the consumer. The finance charge is made up of the total amount of interest and fees that are paid over the life of a loan.TILA and Regulation Z violations
These include failing to treat fees as prepaid finance charges, not calculating the amount financed correctly, and not calculating the APR based on the legal obligation. Other violations include ambiguity around due dates.
Consumer Credit Protection Act (CCPA) violations
The CCPA requires that the total cost of a loan or credit product be disclosed, including interest calculations and fees. It also prohibits discrimination when considering loan applicants and misleading advertising practices.

I am rejecting this response because: as I have already stated ucc 3-602 ucc 3-603 3-104 the payment is my indorsed promissory note which both copies of are still in my possession per ucc 3-302 also show me where I would be getting equal value and consideration by pay you cash and giving you a promissory note where the promissory note covers the car the cash payment would a donation witch i know you guys are not reporting to the irs as you should be would also classify as violation fdcpa as follows 15 usc 1692a(3) defined as a consumer as any natural person obligated on or allegedly obligated debt 15 usc 1692a(5) defined as follows a Debt as an obligation for money, goods, insurance, or services for primarily personal, family, or household purposes ,which would prove the following 18 usc 1341 18 usc 1346 18 usc 1348 18 usc 1349 that would also be a clear cut case for fraudulent misrepresentation 18usc 242 .if you would like to actually complete the transaction as defined by law in good faith i will not seek further damages for the prior violations committed against me knowingly and willfully by **** Wahlberg ***** and agents
