      I bought 2 cubic yards of the bulk grower's blend topsoil from Ohio Mulch for my raised garden beds and added some of their Green Envy mushroom compost. Best garden I've ever had. Great soil and amazing compost.

      Bought 12 bags of black mulch from a local nursery. I had to throw away the majority of each bag due to white appearing mold. Pretty disappointing when you are attempting to get projects done!

      Ms. REMOVED, we truly appreciate your concern and want to help, did you purchase the mulch form Ohio Mulch? The reason I am asking it is important to know how long the product was in stock before they sold it? Was it our Product and which Garden Center did you purchase it from. The age of the product and product being double or triple processed can stimulate mycelium, which is a natural fertilizer in hardwood mulches . We live in a REMOVEDbased soil Regin where our soil is lacking nutrients ,this is why hardwood mulches are vital and are heavily used in these reigns. The hardwood mulch helps amend the soil, the white look to the hardwood stems from when the hardwood mulches are bagged over time it become starved for oxygen which will stimulate a white fertilization component called mycelium to come out of the wood itself.

      However, when the mulch is laid out in the elements the oxygen level offsets and the fertilizer goes back into the mulch and energizes our nutrient deficient soil over time.

      I just wanted to say that I had a great customer service experience recently with REMOVED. I am unsure of his position but he helped me have an issue corrected with my order. My garden was dying without any understanding as to why. I found out after turning my soil that there was some sort of issue with what we had purchased due the something that happened prior to its arrival at the PC Ohio mulch location. REMOVEDdid a great job going out of his way researching out to his employees/workers to find out what caused my issue and provided me with a very detailed explanation as to why it happened. He helped coordinate a replacement batch sent directly to my house with little effort on my end. I appreciate customer service like this and will return for my next round of soil or any type of products that Ohio mulch sells. Thank you REMOVED.

      Scheduled delivery was a week out from ordering which is fine, however, after many phone calls and absolutely zero communication or calls back a week after our SCHEDULED delivery we still hadnt received it. I left a VM with director of sales REMOVEDwho never returned my call. It took 2 weeks to get our mulch and a call to the corporate office finally.

      You folks need to hire someone who is proficient in mathematics! For instance the #REMOVEDLimestone .5cf bag states that 6.7 bags will cover 100 sf area (10 x 10) at a depth of 4!!! I have an area of 50 sf and purchased 10 bags to cover it. I have 1-1/2 to 2 depth and still did not cover the 50sf !! Only reason for 2 stars is quality of material is good and bag strength is good. I believe that the 6.7 bags will cover 10sf at 4 depth, not 100sf.

      REMOVED, I am sorry for the confusion and appreciate your business. The aggregate part of our business is the one that is most confusing to our customers, 1 ton of material if the particle size is less than 2 inches will cover 100 square feet at 2inches when you throw in the bag variable at a .4 or .5 cubic foot per bag it adds a new level of factoring the amount needed to properly complete a project. I will forward this concern to our bag manufacturer and see if they may have a suggestion that may resolve this issue.

I see the notes in the REMOVEDour district manager in the area about the delivery of your order followed up on September 5th 2024 for a total refund that was placed back to the card that was utilized on the initial order.       Awful experience. I recommend going with any mulch company other than Ohio Mulch.
      I ordered 6 yards of mulch. They delivered 6 yards of top soil. They immediately admitted their mistake and said they would correct the mistake in 2 days.
      They then continued to provide ‘make up’ dates and excuses on why they could not correct their mistake. This continued over 4 weeks and u had to make 15 calls to discuss with the manager. I had 6 yards of top soil in my driveway for 4 weeks. It looked terrible, my neighbors complained, and my kids could not play basketball. Customer service was terrible. I will never order from Ohio Mulch again and strongly recommend no one else order from them.

      Mr. Lymangrover , I just left a message to apologize for the frustration and inconvenience for the mistake in product delivered, coupled with the time it took us to rectify the issue. We have work very hard in the past 40 years to assure these types of delays do not happen. I would like to send you a gift card that does not expire or dissipate in value that you can use in an effort to reestablish your confidence in us. We truly value your business and appreciate your patience with this unfortunate situation .

      Frustrated with their delivery "policy". "note - we will make every effort to fulfill the delivery date and time..." This is false. They will offer to "schedule" a day but never a time of day. Furthermore, communication was poor. I scheduled delivery for 13APR. I received an email on 12APR that everything was on schedule. After 6pm on 13APR, I received another email that delivery would be 15APR (never a day I agreed to). When I called in I was told they would do their best and eventually I was told it would be before noon. When I asked about some sort of partial refund, I was told I was already getting "good discounts". I was also told there were "terms and conditions" about delivery I agreed to when I purchased the mulch. I reviewed them and the policy is ridiculous. Basically, consider the requested delivery date as a "hope" and just accept Ohio Mulch's policy is they will delivery it when they delivery it and be grateful you ever get it while charging $129 for scheduled delivery.

      Mr. Weber, we truly are sorry for the frustrations that stemmed from your delivery process and value not only your business but your patience. Ohio Mulch Supply has worked diligently on delivery processing for over 40 years in an effort to streamline the delivery and alleviate frustration to our valued customers. The trucks that are used to deliver all of our bulk products such as yours are new type trucks but the mechanical lifting mechanisms used to tip out the product are at times unpredictable and create delays this is why we do not predict times of delivery. We have 20 dump trucks alone delivering product throughout the Columbus area in an effort to assure on time deliveries.

      Terrible service. Yes they're cheap, but there's a reason for it.
      First they lied about the free delivery since you had to get at least 16 yards to get "free" delivery, but their trucks only hold 10 yards and only the first truck is free ...
      Next, the website allowed me to schedule Saturday delivery, but after buying it, I get a phone call the next day telling me they don't do Saturdays and I have to reschedule. So I rescheduled for Friday at or after noon. Two weeks ago by, I had plans for the day laid out, I get a call at 8am saying they're coming now. When I told them I can't even get my people to the site until at least 11 they didn't care, they had to change delivery because of "weather". So now I have to reschedule my help and we can't do it for ANOTHER week
      Trying to call anyone on the phone has also been a hassle, they badly need some customer service training. Honestly, I would avoid this compyin the future. The small amount of savings is not worth the large amount of hassles they give.

We had advertised a wonderful savings on our growers blend soil and the demand was extremely high. I see that the delivery fee was free according to the amount billed on your order. Secondly, I see the store had reached out and rescheduled the delivery do to the weather. I truly am sorry for your frustration, we work very hard to assure are customers are satisfied and we take each concern seriously. Once again thank you for your business.
