I received a letter from Payliance saying that I owed a debt for lack of payment for my **** **** ****** **** They told me to send $97 for the cost of the box plus $30 for overdue fees. I was given a due date of April 12, 2024. I took the Payliance letter with my receipt for payment by check for $97 to my local post office. They had never seen a debt collection for **** like the Payliance letter, & recommended that I call the line for fraud at ****. The response from **** was that they do not use debt collection agencies.
I contacted my bank and they had no record of the check number for my PO Box payment being processed for payment. They had not received the check. Yet Payliance showed the correct check number, date, & amount listed in their letter. How did they get it?
I see that Payliance has an A+ rating from the BBB online. Hopefully, this is a scam claim. Surely the company would not rate superior trustworthiness by the BBB. The contact number on the Payliance letter is listed as a number frequently showing up as scam calls.

Please be very cautious when interacting in any way with this "business".
I received a letter from Payliance dated 03/13/2024 addressed to a completely different address than my own, which stated I had written a check (check number listed is 6 digits, which I've never had checks numbered as such), to a business named "********" 08/01/2023 in the amount of $50 and that it was "returned unpaid" by my bank. The letter further states that "between 08/01/2023 and today: You were charged this amount in fees: $40.00". As others have experienced when attempting to contact them, the phone number rings, which led to an automated female voice, then both calls were placed on hold for a very brief time before I was prompted to leave a message.
Never have I patronized said business, nor have I ever written them a check. A Google search for Payliance brings up this link with very similar experience and complaints to mine. When contacted, my bank confirmed they've never received or returned any check drawn on my account to any entity, ever. The bank manager asked for a copy of the letter and has forwarded it to their corporate office for further review.
Payliance is either fraudulently attempting to collect a debt that does not exist, or is erroneously collecting faux debts for a fraudulent company. Whatever the reason, they should cease & desist any further attempts to collect this debt. If not, I will escalate the matter legally, as will the bank.

Hello. I have been trying to reach this company for months. There is a collection account on my credit for Payliance/********/Cybercollect in the amount of $325. I have no idea who any of these companies are nor have I done business with you or received any correspondence from you as to how and why this debt has come to be. I have sent plenty of mail and correspondence to you with no response and all have been returned to me as undeliverable and unable to forward. I am hereby formally requesting validation of the alleged debt you are reporting to the major credit bureaus on my behalf (******). I am not requesting a simple account summary. I will be looking forward to the requested documentation so that this issue is not escalated further and can be resolved. Otherwise you are in violation of my rights and are prevented from reporting this account to the consumer reporting agencies and will have the $325 charge and account removed from my credit.

They have been impossible to deal with. Someone created a fake check with my name which was then sent to collections via Cybercollect/Payliance. I called Cybercollect and they never returned my call. I called them again today and they said they had no record of my call. This is a complete scam and I wonder if this is an inside job with the MASSIVE IDENTITY THEFT I am now dealing with.

This Company sent me a letter saying that they were collecting debt for another company who stole my check from a Florida bank. The money that was originally owed was for property tax and not owed to either of the companies in question. Because of the mess-up these two companies caused, I paid my taxes by credit card. Now Payliance has issued a payment in collections for something that was never owed to them. They are trying to ruin my credit., and trying to collect money that does not and never will belong to them. Can I give them negative five stars? they deserve nothing more. When I received their first letter, I called them, and they hung up on me , and when I called back, they wouldn't answer.

They charged me $40 for a check that they claim was returned by my bank. My bank confirmed that they never returned the check, and it was never submitted for payment until a month later when it and a nsf fee was processed by payliance. Payliance blamed it all on me, my bank, the merchant, and was very rude. My bank is attempting to recover the unauthorized charges. They told me the most viable explanation is that Payliance processed the check the first time electronically and transposed the numbers. Payliance is uncooperative and rude as well as incompetent

This company does NOT have a 'functional' method for consumers to contact them.No email, but a Fax # ??And only some phone numbers that turn out to be recordings asking for a message to be left for a call back. After 10 calls and messages left, still noreturn contact from the company. We are the victims of check book theft and fraud (on checks that were cancelled in 2020 and on an account that was closed back in 2020) which has been investigated by our County ************ and arrests and charges were recently made of the perpetrator. We have the Sonoma County ************* report to substantiate all this and need to get this to Payliance so that these attempts to 'collect' are dropped. I hope Payliance might be able to read this message and respond.
