I don’t think I will ever forget the whole ordeal but they made it right. I am quick to complain so I need to let it be known that they made me whole. For a big company to admit they made a mistake and apologize means so much They hand delivered flowers with a heartfelt apology. They paid all of my late fees that I incurred. I opened an account to get $400. I am a senior citizen so I was very careful to follow the directions. I called because they had still not paid. They told me I missed a code when filling out form and so I don't qualify. They weren't concerned or anything. I know that electronics are not my strong suit. Perhaps they need to make their applications more senior friendly. As a senior, $400 can be the difference of meds or no meds.The Huntington National Bank Response

I took out a car loan from huntington bank at a car dealership. I have had my car paid off for nearly a year. I never received a car title. They told me they sent it out via UPS but I never received it. I am now trying to sell the car but the car dealership needs a lien release letter from Huntington to apply for a new title. The same thing happened. Huntington told me they mailed out the lien release form via UPS but it never arrived. They are telling me I have to start a new case and now wait 5-10 business days for that so that I can try again to get a lien release letter sent out. I am now dealing with financial problems due to not being able to sell this car while paying for another vehicle. On top of all of this, you can't find a contact phone number for Huntington online. The number they list on their official website for car loans goes to a scam line saying you won $100 but have to give info. I have had to call multiple local branches to finally get someone willing to even talk to me. Stay far away from Huntington Bank. I went to Huntington Bank on 8th Street in Holland, Michigan and I was not allowed into my accounts as the branch manager ***** ******* allowed a non owner of my company to become a signer and officer of my business. I can’t call her, she doesn’t answer. She doesn’t respond to my voicemails, texts or emails. I try to go in the branch to speak to her and the staff immediately stonewalls me. I need an appointment, she’s with a customer, she’s on lunch, etc. Calling Huntington corporate starts out fine, then they find out the extent of the fraud on their part, they shut me down.The Huntington National Bank Response

I think Huntington bank is rude and don’t give customers there money back. I had a problem at one of there branches in Oakwood Ohio that I deposited money into a atm there and my money got stuck inside and never got put into my checking account and my atm card was stuck in the machine for several seconds before it was released and never got a receipt stating the money got transferred into my account. I went inside and told the teller about what happened and she filed a dispute but never looked into the ATM to see why my money got stuck and then the investigation went on for 5 days and never got my Money back and had several people tell me several things that wasn’t right and I am highly pissed that I had to refile another one to try to get my money back that never got deposited into my account and never got a receipt.The Huntington National Bank Response

I being this for months now and I hate it I dealt with bad customer service over the telephone in addition, This bank be charging me overdraft fees yet leaving my account overdraft. They be charging fees at the last minute and without me knowing in addition, The little money I have left they end up taking that and I try to avoid those late fees and I made several complaints in addition, About this bank etcReview from Charles L

If you want to see Fraud in IL have a checking account with Huntington bank. This was not a personal account but a Business account. Money disappearing from Business and after hours and multiple phone calls the bank could NOT provide details as to why. They did not offer any services to investigate or resolve the issue. After 2 banks and 2 different businesses there is Fraud in IL banks.The Huntington National Bank Response

This is a cautionary tale about the practices of Huntington Bank. My parents had numerous banking accounts and products from Huntington Bank. Unfortunately, my parents died within 4 months of each other. When my sister and I went to Huntington Bank with their death certificates, the funds available were divided among us. I informed the bank rep that I would be taking over all expenses on my parents’ behalf until their estate was settled. The bank rep asked me if I wanted to open a Huntington account. I explained that I lived in a state outside of Huntington’s required residency. I asked if that would be a problem. She stated that would not be a problem. I subsequently asked if there was a delay or other restrictions when transferring funds between accounts. Again, she and numerous other tellers said no. Regrettably, the first time I moved money between accounts, my Huntington accounts were frozen and closed immediately. I had to drive 5 hours to the nearest Huntington Bank office to try and get this situation resolved. As of today, 3/6/24, the situation is still not resolved. I advise anyone thinking of opening a Huntington Bank account to reconsider their plan of action.The Huntington National Bank Response
