1 starThe Third Estimate is a horrible company. They lacked communication the entire process. They broke their end of the contract which stated the project will be started within 2-4 weeks and they did not contact me until after the 4 week period to just give an "update" which was just them buying time.
I tried calling several times to get updates and was told I'd get a call back soon and never did. The time I did get a response I was told that repairs got pushed back so they could make room for the bigger projects. I didnt realize my business wasnt important to the company. If I had known a small repair would have taken 2 months to fix I would have gone to another company.
This company is a scam and I will never recommend them to another person.Review fromSara F

5 starsIts hard to find a contractor to give an honest quote let alone care about a customer after the sale. I had two windows that needed replaced over seven years ago and I called several companies an no one would do my job. **** with the 3rd Estimate came out and walked me through their process and types of windows. He also mentioned the other work they did like roofing and siding. It wasn't in my budget back then but it was on my bucket list of thing to get done. Fast forward to August 2024 and we had a windstorm that damage my siding and roof. Not much damage but enough that I had a small leak in my kitchen. I called **** because he took care of me way back when no one else would. Fast forward to Spring 2025 an no I have new siding, a New Roof that **** helped me get covered through my insurance. Thank you ***** **** for finally paying! and yes I did finish up my remaining 11 windows in the house. All because someone from The Third Estimate - ***** took the time to help me.

1 starMy experience with 3rd Estimate began in September 2023. They sent Joe after a storm, who pressured me to sign and promised to accompany the insurance inspector—an interaction that never happened (I have texts and emails to prove it).
Despite this, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued. Once the insurance funds came through, Joe was so eager to get his hands on it that he sent his nearby wife to collect the check. Looking back, I have no doubt that he was just trying to get his hands on my money and run before I learned what kind of organization this was.
Then the company promptly went silent. Our contract promised work would be scheduled within 10 weeks, but as the deadline neared, Joe claimed he no longer worked there. Meanwhile, office staff kept promising a callback that never came.
New negative reviews appeared online around the same time, and it became clear this wasn’t the company for me. The 10 week deadline came and went, which the business admitted to in voicemails. I demanded a refund—days of calls and emails went unanswered. Their refusal to email me was not only unprofessional but cowardly and even creepy at times. What an unbelievable way to treat someone who just gave you over $8,000. I suspect that they were avoiding putting anything in writing for legal reasons.
Finally, after months of effort, I visited their office on June 18 only to have them hand me a check of roughly half of what I paid them—leaving me short nearly $4,000 despite no work being done. This business is deeply crooked.
I recently found a legitimate roofing contractor who delivered excellent service, clear communication, and quality workmanship. Do not let 3rd Estimate touch your home.Review fromGregory S

1 starFrustrated is being kind! An extremely poor experience from start to finish. No supplies delivered prior to non English speaking crew who immediately left only to return 10 minutes later after my call to office. My calls for corrective actions were met with apology after apology from everyone I spoke with. Promises to review my complaints apparently discarded. Overall a very poor response to my concerns, and a job that I now have to find someone to fix.Review fromCandacd W

5 starsThe 3rd Estimate is a 1st class origination. Their installers did an excellent job on my roofing and gutter installation.
They stand by their work 110% and make sure their customers are completely satisfied.
They use all top-of-the-line material with their premium package having a 50-year warranty.
Their pricing is excellent.
I would highly recommend them.
