In August 2020, an arborist from Bartlett Tree Experts walked my property and gave me an estimate for tree pruning and dead tree removal. Because the property is lower than street level, we discussed the fact that there needed to be a few days of dry weather before heavy equipment could be used. The arborist was well aware of the situation before writing up an estimate. I never questioned the estimate. Work was done 2 days in November 2020 and throughout 2021.I paid when areas completed. In Sept 2021 3 workers came out to finish the job. There was much confusion about an area around a ditch, additional pear tree pruning-bucket was sent out but was told it could not be done though a worker and the arborist said it could use a little more pruning on one side, and wood moved and placed on lawn to be mulched. The mulcher was full so left on lawn and it was never removed. I waited weeks, then I called Guy F . He said he would drive by to check and get back with me. This never happened. Bartlett did not fulfill contract and put the blame on me because of weather issues. There were several dry days in the summer when the job could have been completed-I have this documented. 4 years ago a company cut , grinded,mulched,and removed more trees than Bartlett from my back yard. It was done in 2 days with the appropriate amount of equipment and manpower. One of the reasons I signed a contract with Bartlett was because estimates were done for each work area. I have been very frustrated and disappointed that they did not follow the work to completion.
