I own an event design company. I was hired by my client to design and facilitate the decor for a holiday party. The holiday party was on 12/9/23 at Glasshouse in ***. My business, ************************* Design, contracted with NY Lounge Decor to provide a 30' x 30' LED dance floor. This LED dance floor was going to be the main decor element at the event. The LED dance floor was supposed to light up different colors in different patterns throughout the night providing a fun, memorable experience for my client's guests. I paid NY Lounge Decor $10,800 for the dance floor. On the day of the event, they delivered and installed a dance floor that did not work. The technicians onsite said that half of the LED panels did not work with the other half of the panels. They could not fix it. My clients were extremely upset, blaming me, and want a refund, which I believe is warranted. I have sent over 10 emails and called NY Lounge Decor numerous times between 12/10/23 and today. Their owner, ****, told me on the phone that he was going to send a full refund on 12/15/23. I have not received this refund. Their secretary, *****, refuses to give me any additional contact information to management. This is putting a huge burden between myself and my client, whom my company depends on for over 1/2 of our yearly sales. NY Lounge Decor did not deliver on the item that we contracted them for and we need a full refund of the $10,800 that was paid to them via wire transfer. I uploaded the contract I signed and a photo of the non-working dance floor. In the photo, that shiny black floor is the dance floor. It's supposed to be lit up in a rainbow ****************.
