On July 23,2020 I said yes to the dress at Virginias Bridal for my 12/19/2020 wedding. It was a dream come true that turned into a nightmare the closer it got to my wedding day. Virginia and her staff were always so accommodating and helpful, but this turned into a 180. I should have sensed something wrong would come to be about when it was the week of my wedding and final alterations werent done. (The alterations that we spent $600 on!) I didnt get a final try on and my dress wasnt ready for pick up until the ***** BEFORE MY WEDDING. I still thought nothing of this because I had so much trust and faith in Virginia. The day of my wedding came and I noticed that the seamstress did not finish sewing the left side of my dress, and the right side had ****** of thread. The bustle that they made me for after the Church was broken and did not stay so there was a rip to my dress because of it. The best part is the veil I purchased (another $600 plus) WAS NOT EVEN MY VEIL!!!! I got married in a plain white veil with crystals on the edge. Although it was still pretty, it was not what I paid for and NOT MINE! Since January 4, 2021 I brought this to the owners attention, and it still has not been rectified. There has been exchanges of emails and calls to come in, but I feel that she was never really available for me. The one time she did pencil me in she canceled last minute the day of. My mothers dress also had issues as she was not given the shawl it came with. So heartbreaking. My sister just got engaged yesterday, and I will be advising her not to go to Virginias so she can avoid the heartache that I went through.
