We hired a plumber to replace a broken heating system in our home with a new system. Since 1/21/2022 the plumber left, we have tried to contact him a couple of days afterwards for one of the two radiators is not working and asked him to come by to take a look. He refused to do so, instead he gave us the same steps every time. We have suffered through January to March with our 2 year old in our cold home. We have spent hours to get the air lockage out of the radiator every time when this occurred but the issue came back soon after.At the beginning, the plumber asked 75% of the invoice of $4,820.00 in order to come by to fix the problem (and later 50%). After several phone conversations, he does not think he has installed both of the circulators incorrectly, but this contradicted the User's manual, what the manufacturer told us and industry standards set by the **************** of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. We think he marked up the material he bought (Material invoice $1,820), hence we asked him to send us the itemised list. But after 3 or 4 times through emails, texts and on the phone, we have only received an itemised list accounting for $1,207.62. Among the partial itemised list are materials we have not received from him. We told him we cannot pay him until he sends us the complete itemised list. Just 2 days after on 3/25/2022, we received the Notice of Violation from the town. We assume he reported us because he is the only person to whom we sent photos and also the only person we communicated. He replied back to us on April 11 demanding payment of $4,820.00 until April 19 and would bring us to commercial claims court, otherwise.We asked him to fix the issue by changing the current setting (his work) to as per specification drawing we sent him from the start and we will pay him the invoice in full after he send
