      Dear Better Business Bureau,

      I am filing a complaint regarding the blocked status of my Unlimited Car Wash Plan with Delta Sonic (License Plate #*** ****). The issue began with an accidental dispute of the May 2025 payment.

      On May 16, 2025, I spoke with Assistant Manager Kimberly T******, who requested a bank dispute cancellation letter to resolve the issue. I promptly provided the letter, and she confirmed receipt, stating it would be forwarded internally and the matter resolved by July 7, 2025.

      Despite my timely compliance, the issue remains unresolved. I’m requesting your assistance to ensure Delta Sonic reinstates my account or provides clear next steps.

      Went through delta sonic car wash on 5/1/25 and after I went to the interior detail shop during inspection of my vehicle while the employee was done I notice a deep scratch in my driver rear door, a decent sized scuff mark on my roof by my rear window passenger side and swirl marks on my passenger rear door, I notified the manager and complained and he did a claim for me, a week later delta sonic contacted me stating that they did not do the damages in which they were wrong because my vehical did not have these damages upon arrival, after I contacted and complained again they had my drive back to the location to speak to the manager (Richard) that was very caring and understanding of my frustration and checked everything out and sent more information in, I received a contact letter today and they notified me stating that there no paying for the damages and that did not happen in the car wash so I took actions into my own hands contacting the BBB for assistance with my request and complaint.

      Delta sonic advertises as a 'one price/unlimited service' on all publically displayed advertisements, however when renewing the service, they will up charge you much more than the advertised price based on the amount of utilization of service. This is deceptive at least, fraudulent if possible. There is no indicator in the public advertising (by asterisk or other) that there are sub limitations. In fact when I called to complain, they said I had to try to find these disclosures in the 'fine print' on thier website. My wife and I have been clients for over 4 years, but now no longer, as we feel decieved. I request they be ordered to change thier deceptive advertising And I want a refund. I will post as much as possible and review as much as possible to make people aware of this deception and fraud. I am disputing the total amount we have paid for service for over 3 years approximating 1800 dollars. Completely dissatisfied.

      As outlined in the plan:
      All customers receive an introductory rate, which is currently $24.99/month plus tax for the first 6 months.
      After this period, the plan reverts to the full retail price of $44.99/month.
      Oversized vehicles will incur an additional $5/month, and commercial vehicles will be charged an extra $20/month.
      To ensure value for all Unlimited members, Delta Sonic may, at its discretion, continue the introductory rate beyond the initial period or apply other discounts for lower-than-average usage. These terms are available on our official website and are also provided in the startup packet given at sign-up.
      Each customer is also provided a receipt at the time of enrollment to confirm the selected plan and pricing.

      I went for a one time car wash and unknowingly they signed me up for a monthly car wash service and I've been charged 3 months without my knowledge I've only ever gotten one car wash from them and it wad the initial car wash and no more in the following time period

      I moved away from my previous location and needed to cancel my subscription. I went to their office twice and they said it's canceled and they cannot find any subscription tied to my vehicle. Now half a year later I just noticed I am STILL BEING CHARGED!!! Absolutely worst experience.

      On Saturday March 29th I went to Delta sonic in Niagara Falls, NY for a state inspection. I am a member at Delta Sonic and they take $30 a month directly out of my account. I am going to be canceling my membership as a result of this. I arrived at Delta Sonic at 1pm and the woman who came to my car did not say hello, smile or treat me with any respect. She knew I was there for an inspection because she refused me the day before when I came at 3:30pm, even though they are open until 6pm. She looked miserable and said “it’s going to be 3 hours before we can even get your car inside”. I said that is okay. She gave me a clipboard with a paper to fill out and told me to leave it on the dash with the keys and leave a number if I’m leaving and walked away without directing me where to go if I had to stay. They called me just 2 hours later saying my vehicle was ready. I had my cabin air filter replaced in addition to the state inspection. After driving for a long time I start to notice a strong smell, which to me smelled like gas. My car is like new and well maintained and under 50,000 miles. It runs beautifully so I assumed it had to be the cars next to me on the road that smelled or the smell in the air of Niagara Falls, as there are many chemical plants in the area. I get home and I notice my check engine light is on. It is now 9:00pm and I had been driving since I left at 3pm. I check under the hood and the cap is off the engine, it’s so hot, and there is oil everywhere. I am now without a vehicle. My engine is possibly destroyed. I absolutely love my car and take such good care of it. I am beyond dissatisfied with delta sonic at this point. To my knowledge, there is no reason that the oil cap should’ve even been taken off for a state inspection. I expect delta sonic to pay for the oil to be replaced, to clean everything under my hood as there is oil everywhere, to pay for engine to be examined by a proper mechanic and to replace my engine if there is damage.

      This is for the Elmhurst, IL location.

      I paid over $140.00 to have the interior detailed. The rep, instead of offering the bundle, charged me individually for leather and vinyl. Had the bundle been offered, it would have included leather and vinyl, and three additional services. Furthermore, the rear cargo area was not vacuumed. When I spend this kind of money to clean a car, I would expect it to be showroom ready.

      93 for interior and steam clean plus apuapel. I walk around the car and the windows are dirty, no way the used aquapel, and the steam cleaning literally wasn’t done… couldn’t have been. I could visibly see dirt and could wipe it off with my fingers in the door jams.

      Beyond that, the employee gave me attitude outside at my car and again in the waiting area.

      $93 for a job that wasn’t done. No refund offered. No resolution.

      On Tuesday March 11th I took my car through the car wash at Delta sonic on Orchard Park rd. When I pulled out I noticed that my ceiling was wet on both sides of the car. I got out to inspect the roof and the seals under my roof rack were both loose and the actual rack itself was lifted. I went in to speak to a car wash manager and I filed a claim as I have never had any type of water on my ceiling ever in the past and this had happened as a direct result of going through the wash. I received an email denying my claim. They told me to go in and talk to another manager named Paul on 3/14. I went in and he had admitted fault stating that the long rags got stuck and lifted the rack up causing the seals to break and leak. He went on to tell me about how they have their own shop on Walden Ave and that they would be contacting me soon to set up a day/ time to get my car fixed. Well, I woke up this morning to an email now denying my claim and telling me to file a complaint here or to take them to small claims court. I am beyond aggregated over this situation and now I have been keeping my car in the garage all week in case it rains.
