    Terrible service, they rescheduled my appointment once. Then on the day of my appointment, I asked for an ETA. They said 6:00pm EST. No one ever showed up. Then I talked to 7 different neighbors, and all had the same experience over the years with them. This company should shut down.

    I scheduled a lawn clean up to deal with 3 trees worth of leaves and a fallen branch on my property with the "removal" option. The result was dumping the debris into the street and blowing it into my neighbors yards and not touching the fallen branch at all. this is both an unacceptable completion of the task and extremely unprofessional. in attempt to contact them via the help chat, the AI was utterly useless and the "contact human" option left me waiting for over twenty minutes with no feedback or further contact. when attempting to call the 800 line there was no answer. yes my lawn is clean and the leaves "removed" from my lawn, but it was a shoddy job that makes me look like a jerk to my neighbors. I consider this more an issue with not veting those sub-contracted to do good work than an issue with the service/process itself.

    Today was the last straw. I will never use this company again. Hired them in past years and went ok as far as I know, since I'm a landlord not living at the properties relying on app photos and tenant's word. This year, however, I hired them to mow one of my vacant properties every 2 weeks. They mowed once a month at best. Job was constantly canceled and rebooked and lawn was shabby for much of the year. Neighbors complained about poor mowing standard. I didn't have time to source a new mower for the year, so kept them until late Aug.
    I then hired them for a one off mow at a different residence where I was present and in attendance. The man who came out was here for only 20 minutes (.56 acre yard that usually takes over 40 mins to mow @ $91 charge for .5 to .75 acres). He mowed half of the lawn only and left half completely untouched. He also missed a section of lawn I specifically requested he doesn't overlook in the app notes.
    Called to see about a partial refund, since I would need to correct the job myself. They said no refunds are allowed and claim they will have him return to complete the job.
    Very dissatisfied. So much so, I took time to write a review. Will be shopping for a new service.

    Hey **! We're so sorry to hear you have been displeased. All orders are subject to provider availability, weather, equipment and so on. We cannot guarantee certain services dates as we are not physically out in the field completing services with our providers. We always try our best on our end to get requests filled and completed ASAP. We will always give our providers the chance to return to fix any missed areas or issues if needed and are more than happy to do so should you notify us right away of any issues. Some providers with us have been with us for a while now and other may be newer with us and are still learning the ropes. Regardless; we're always happy to have them return to correct an areas of concern if needed. It does look like this provider had let us know on the 30th that they did return to correct this for you. We're so sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused. We do wish you the best of luck!

    I have always had a wonderful experience with Plowz and Mowz. The app is super easy to use and customer support has been great when ever I have had a question. I used them recently for lawn mowing and they came out the next morning and did a fantastic job.

    I had mulch service scheduled for 6/8 in the Alexandria area. The crew decided not to show because of the hazardous smoke conditions (very understandable), however I had to call to enquire, rather than Plowz & Mowz giving me a courtesy call. I was told they would come on 6/9. The crew never showed the next day. Again, I was never given a courtesy call, and was stuck all day at home waiting for the crew to come. I call in the afternoon and was finally told the crew was not coming and that they "may come on Sunday 6/11." I asked for that crew to be released and for a different crew to be assigned for Saturday 6/10. I was told a new crew was assigned, and they would arrive at 10:00. On Saturday 6/10 I received a text at 10:30 that the crew was on the way. By 1PM they still had not arrived and I started calling, since once again I was being held hostage in my home for the third day waiting for their crew to arrive. A crew finally arrived an hour later and informed me that I had under estimated the amount of mulch I needed. I had ordered 1.1 cubic yards of mulch. He spoke to me in "bags" and suggested I needed 30 bags. We debated for about 20 minutes, where I insisted I had mulched my yard and had never used more than 15/18 bags. I asked why he hadn't arrived with bulk mulch and he told me that he was a subcontractor and he was supposed to go to home depot and purchase the mulch, give ME the receipt and I was to pay HIM back for the purchase, and a set fee for the labor. We settled on 20 bags of mulch an a labor fee, and he left. I then got a text from Plowz and Mowz that the "provider the them know that they needed more than 2 cubic yards or mulch while the order is placed for only 1.1 yards. They would need an additional $221.54 to complete the job." In short, it appears this sub was attempting to get paid through Plows & Mowz (quite a bit), and through me separately. The whole thing was sketch and an unpleasurable experience from day one. I canceled the job.

Upon getting your complaint here, our management team has looked through your order and has made the decision to part ways from the particular provider. They have since been removed of our platform and will no longer be taking on services for us going forward. This is not something we tolerate and not the type of experience we want our valued customer to have. We also added a $50.00 credit to your account to use on future services should you choose to give us another try due to the stress and inconvenience this has caused you. Please note we cannot promise or guarantee a certain date or time frame as this is all subject to providers availability, routing, equipment, weather and so on. We will always try our absolute best to meet this for our customers the best we can on our end and keep our customer in the loop as much as possible should any reschedules or changes happen. Our deepest apologies that this did not go as planned and we were unable to get this completed for you as requested.     Do not use this company for snow removal. I booked snow removal with them on their app. On the snow removal menu was sidewalk shoveling. I ordered sidewalk shoveling and driveway snow removal. They were two hours late and only did 3 ft in front of my garage door. Sidewalks were not done. I contacted customer service and was told they don’t do sidewalks. I was still charged 144.79 for 3 ft in front of my garage. I got no where with the customer service rep. I pointed out on the app there is snow shoveling. She just kept saying they don’t do snow shoveling. She said she would contact the manager to discuss the price reduction. So far nothing. I was conned. I feel horrible as I am a retired senior citizen on a pension, unable to shovel.

    Hey There! We do have this stated on our website/app in a couple different areas were it will let you know we do not service public side walks. This can be viewed in our customer FAQ and will also let you know when booking the service itself. When getting to the "extras" tab when getting your quote or booking the services we do have this stated as (No public sidewalks) right underneath the walkway option. Our team just went through the website to get a quote and can see this is still active and present on our website as well as the app itself. We ONLY offer to service private walkways to and from the home itself but do not offer any city side walking services. We can see our team did speak to you about this and even had the provider return to complete the walkway add on's as requested on your original order. We can see this was fully completed for what you have requested and paid for on the request. As far as our timing on snow removal requests go, we simply cannot promise or guarantee this type of service to be completed at a certain time. We offer options such a ASAP, AM or PM options when booking a snow removal request. This is all subject to provider availability, routing, equipment and the snow conditions alone which can cause delays and things of this nature. We always try our best to meet all customers requests as fast and as safely as we can.

    Do not waste your time on this company! I booked my service, paid and got everything confirmed via email. On the day the service was supposed to be done, I got a text saying they'd be there the next day at 9am. Of course they didn't show, texted them again and they said they were on their way, no show, they then said they'd be there at 515pm, of course they didn't show up. So, they have the money and I don't have the service. You can't even call them to inquire about the service you ordered. I really needed to get my service done

We can see we have tried getting your pet waste removal service assigned but have had no luck in doing so, we have shot you a message letting you know this has been canceled and the hold for your service will be released within the next 3-5 business days. It seems we simply do not have any providers in your area who are available at this time to take on this type of request on for you. We can see our team had text communication with you and had asked if you would like us to continue trying but did not get a response back until this complaint hit our system. We did try our best in the meantime for you but had no luck in doing so. We're terribly sorry we were unable to get this completed for you, we wish you the best of luck!

    Very disappointed with Plowz and Mowz. I bought a $200 gift card through the app December 23rd for my Father in law as a Christmas gift because he will be having knee surgery after the holiday and will not be able to plow the snow. I never received a receipt of purchase. I gave my father in laws phone and email and he never received an official confirmation. He received a text message with a code but it was only good for 5 minutes. It was in the evening and he was already asleep for the night. So when he entered the code it did not work anymore. I contacted Plowz and Mowz several times through the app chat to find out what happened and then also called the 24/7 phone number and no one is able to help me. They just keep saying management will have to review it. It has been 15 days. I am embarrassed that my father in law can not use his gift and my $200 can not be used. I feel like they stole my money. If this is the response time for a gift card I do not want their business for the actual snow plow provider service. This is horrible and a waste of my money. My $200 should be refunded for lack of service and poor management. No stars.

    Hey There! We're so sorry about that! If a gift card is purchased successfully you should have received a confirmation email to the email provided at the time of purchase. This would be your receipt and proof of purchase as we do not send out separate receipts. Everything needed would be provided in the confirmation email itself. The code you had mention, The OTP code (one time passcode), is time sensitive so you may have to request another code after a certain amount of time. After that time is up the code will disappear and you can then request another if needed. We're so sorry to hear this was difficult for you but we truly hope this helps so your father in law can use his gift card! Thank for your time!

    This fall, I hired this company for leaf removal. For important context, my front, side and back lawns are professionally landscaped with a focus on native plants. While the leaf removal was scheduled for Sunday, the crew did not show up until Monday morning. There was little to no communication about the delay.
    The crew arrived Monday a little after 9am. A little while later I went outside to discover the crew had taken a weed wacker to more than 35 of my native grasses along with about 10 still flowering late blooming yarrow and some annual Verbana that had not yet gone to seed. I told the crew to stop and asked why they were doing what they were doing. They said I had ordered this service. I said I ordered "Yard Cleanup" which is described as removing leaves and smaller sticks and twigs. After some not great back and forth (including the crew saying, "we've been here for almost 30 minutes why didn't you come stop us before"), they cleaned up the mess they made (but not the damage) and removed the leaves.
    As soon as the crew left, I called the Plowz & Mowz help line. The person on the phone was very sympathetic and said "they should not have been cutting anything." I sent them follow up pictures of the damage and they promised to get back to me shortly. A couple of hours later, they called me back and offered $50 off my next service. FYI, this service cost me $467. I was stunned and said that's totally unacceptable. They asked for more pictures which I sent and they said management would get back to me by noon the next day. I also sent a text saying at a minimum I expect a full refund. Someone who I expect is in management named "Billy" texted me a little before noon the next day saying they needed more time to investigate but would get back to me shortly. I have heard nothing more from them. I texted them earlier this afternoon letting them know if I didn't hear back, I would be escalating to Better Business Bureau and social media. So here I am.

    Hey There! We can see you did speak with Billy, who is our director of operations, and he was able to input a refund for you in the amount of $208.06. Billy had also offered to add a $50.00 credit to your account as well but you asked for the credit to be refunded in which we were able to do making this refund the $208.06 in total. As explained per our conversation we could not refund the entire amount as the request had been completed and we needed to be sure the provider was paid for time and efforts spent completing this for you. We can also see we have spoken to this provider and have stressed that cutting anything like this down should not be happening on requests unless requested by the customer themselves. They were understanding and very apologetic about this. We're all human and sometimes make mistakes, all we can do is learn from these as we do feel this provider has with this situation. Billy and our team did take the time and care with you needed to get this resolved. We're terribly sorry to hear that this had happened but we can see our team tried our best to resolve this the best way we could. We truly wish you the best of luck!
