My husband bought $70K+ truck from Summit and the truck is still titled in previous owners name. I have called numerous times and I am told by "Jordon" that the person that handles finance/titles is always out of office, in a meeting, at lunch. Excuse after excuse. NY DMV is confused as well. All they were able to do was send letter to previous owner asking for proof of ownership (which he doesn't own since truck in my possession and I have a the signed sales contracts. Why are you not calling me back? I am trying to close my husband's estate and I need this title to do that. This dealership could very easily fix the situation, but for some reason I keep getting stonewalled. I desperately need to title. Willing to subpoena dealership for estate court case. I live in OH. This is awful service. My husband is dead. I should be healing, not fighting for a title on a PURCHASED truck. You are making my life so difficult. 5-10 mins is all it'll take to talk to someone and fix the error. I will start calling daily/multiple times per day-so they can fee the urgency of the matter. That is not good business. You dont sell a truck and leave title in previous owners name. It lazy, inconsiderate, and unethical. Hopefully I will get someone's attention and actually speak to someone that is helpful.

Purchased a truck 1/2/25. Truck immediately began to have mechanical issues. Made business aware of issues multiple times. No action has been taken on the businesses behalf to rectify problems at hand. Being told there’s nothing they can do. Take it to another dealership to be fixed. The vehicle is not safe to drive, the commute from my home to their business is nearly 2 hours, being told to have the vehicle towed to their location with no reimbursement. Use the road side assistance, with no reimbursement or deductible from warranty. Spoke with sales manager to take current vehicle back and get us into something else, was told they will not buy the truck back in full, and will need to roll over negative equity. All issues taking place less than 30 days after purchase. Company has continued to be unhelpful in the hopes that our 60 day timeframe will be reached and they will no longer have any responsibility to rectify issues at hand.

    Used 2008 ***** ****** purchased for $10,000
car was making many noises, we let the sales person know who did nothing about it, was pushing a very expensive warrenty, chose not to take the warrenty due to cost reasons.

Bought car, brought back a week later for the same noises, nothing was done besides a little power steering fluid was topped off and was told by company head mechanic that i was "all set"

Brought the car to personal mechanic and was told engine was burning oil as well as a failing timing chain that was clearly loud and defective ( owner even reacted to the noise and said it was bad) , brought car back to dealer and after a test drive with the owner, he realized it needed a new engine so i dropped the car off on a wednesday and receieved it back with a ''pre-owned motor" he also promised a 1 year warrenty free of charge for my troubles.

owner stated he will send me paperwork detailing the work that was done that following monday.
never recieved it. car is still making tons of noises and i never got paperwork detaling the warrenty.

reached out to the owner again last week, had to reach out twice due to owner not getting back to me the first time. the second attempt, he sends me over text message with a freshy created service note but this note included work that was never completed. now the owner is lying saying he wont be at work for a while and to reach out to his mechanic.

the car very possibly will not pass inspection due to it not being properly serviced prior to being out on the lot.

i have text and paperwork for all of this.

all i am looking for is the organization to get the car in complete running shape as i still owe thousands of dollars on it

the whole process was very misleading and all fabrications since i first walking into the dealership

i have also seen reviews on carfax from others basically matching my experience so other people are getting screwed by them as well.

    The 2008 ***** ****** was purchased February 2, 2023. At the
time of purchase the vehicle had 113,334 miles. NYS lemon law does not cover
vehicles sold with over 100,000 miles. Out of “good faith” we wanted to make
this correct for *******. August of 2023, we agreed to have a replacement engine
installed at no cost to her. Our dealership purchased the replacement engine
for $2300.00. The engine came with a 1 year / 12,000-mile warranty.   The repair order that I sent to ******* was generated on the
date of repair which was 8-18-23, the print date was 11-2-23. The repair order
was not “freshly generated”. I did text ******* that I would not be at work for a while.
We had an unexpected death in the family and that is why I am now responding to
the complaint as I have been out of work. However, I did leave the name and
number of our service manager for ******* to contact. I am happy to provide ******* with the warranty information
for the replacement engine that was installed in the vehicle. NYS Lemon Law **The length of warranty
depends upon the car’s mileage at the time of purchase and is determined by the
lesser of time of ownership and miles driven:  More than 18,000 and up
to 36,000 miles: 90 days or 4,000 miles  / More than 36,000 and up
    to 80,000 miles: 60 days or 3,000 miles  /  80,000-100,000 miles: 30 days or
    1,000 miles

We purchased a Black ***** SUV for $36k 3/31/22. It looked perfect when we saw it online & in person 2x. After the purchase, we would wash it gingerly, as we take pride in our vehicles/boats. Slowly, over 4 months, very deep scratches were starting to appear. They were symmetrical on both front areas then all over the front panels & all the way down to the end of the vehicle. We took it to many places & heard the same response: they used black wax and maybe mixed it with paint or filler, so it slowly wore off! We went to the Summit to speak with the owner 8/4/22 & we were confronted by a very hostile manager who told us the owner wasn’t there. He looked @ the vehicle “you put those on the vehicle”. We were so upset he would say something like this, but I guess this is how they roll! We insisted to speak with the owner Andy Marsucci . To our surprise Andy (not there?) came out when the irate manager stomped inside. Andy said he would have his “doll up guy” look at it & said he would not sell a vehicle like this! We assured him we would not have purchased a vehicle that looked like this!! He agreed to have his guy buff it if we could leave it. So, we did. When we brought it outside of the shop into the sun all the marks were still there. We said we were not happy & asked if he could just buy the SUV less the amount of money we paid while driving it the last few months. He laughed and said NO. I asked why won’t you? There was no response (seriously guilty right there). We also told him the manager was rude & belligerent to us! We asked him to make this right & he mentioned he would meet us 1/2 way if we get a quote from “HIS GUY” up the road who does body work! We immediately went, we were told this would be about $6k-$8k to fix. Now Andy offered $1k. We said that's not 1/2 way. He hung up on us! I have reported this to the Attorney General awaiting a response. How can a dealer cover this all up and sell this w/o consequence or making it right?

    The customer purchased a 2015 ********* ***** from Summit
View Auto on 3/25/22. Yes the vehicle was in good condition and without the
scratches as described when the vehicle was purchased. We do not use black wax,
add paint or fillers.  We are unaware of what type of conditions this vehicle
was exposed to from the time it left our dealership until the customer returned
on 7/27/22.  We do not practice
business in the way described. We believe that the scratches were done after the
vehicle left our dealership. Our pictures on our website show that the vehicle
did not have these scratches. In our professional opinion these scratches were
deep and recent. A dealer is not liable for cosmetic damage to a vehicle 4
months after the date of purchase. There is not a warranty pertaining to
    cosmetics.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have several people who have watched the gradual and slow appearance of the damages hidden. I would be more than happy to get statements from them.  I can also provide to you a character reference for both me and my husband.  I also spoke to a tech (after filing the original complaint to the BBB) who does paint repair and was a former employee for Summit View Auto.  The tech shared with me Andy's "special sauce" is to use wax, filler and paint to hide scratches, so they are not visible.  The tech also shared with me that WE WOULD NOT SEE these damages until they gradually wash off! It's a doll up that goes a bit further because the consumer can't see what they are really purchasing.  The vehicle should be bought back by Andy, or a check given to us or to the paint shop of our choosing to cover the damages this vehicle had on it which he sold to us from his car lot.

    Regards,
