      On January 2nd, 2025 I was billed for a mental health service appointment in the amount of $215 from Teladoc health. I have had many appointments with this provider beforehand and should have only been charged $100. Furthermore, I should have only had to pay $35 out of pocket due to insurance coverage. Over the course of the last 6 months I have repeatedly communicated with both provider and insurer. Both parties confirmed that I was overcharged and that the coding done by Teladoc's claims department was incorrect. Therefore, the provider (Teladoc) made multiple mistakes and conceded to this mistakes. Despite that they have failed to reimburse me despite conceding to their mistakes and promising to reimburse me within 30 business days. I am seeking a full refund of my $215 plus 10 hours of compensation ($16.50 minimum wage in ***) for my time.

      I was a happy Teladoc patient from December 2024 until early 2025. I had a good relationship with my provider and received good care. I knew I was switching jobs and therefore insurance, and discussed with my provider how to continue care. We planned on scheduling a session after my insurance termination where I could self pay, and therefore have some buffer to find a new provider in network. However, as soon as my insurance coverage ended, I was locked out of my account. I am now unable to contact my provider, access my medical records, or schedule any follow up appointments. I was ready and happy to self pay, and was caught off guard that I would be unable to access my account at all. I am looking to regain access to my account in order to access my medical records.

      6/26/2025 I scheduled an appointment through Teladoc specifically to refill a prescription. When prompted to select a reason for the visit, I chose Prescription Refill. The system then presented a list of medications that were not eligible for refill, yet the medication I needed was not on that list. I had already refilled this prescription three times through Teladoc in the past five months without issue, so I had no reason to believe there would be a problem. However, when the appointment began, the provider abruptly informed me that I was not allowed to refill the medication more than twice in a calendar year. This was completely contradictory to my previous experience and was never communicated to me at any point prior. If this is a policy, it should be clearly stated upfront not sprung on patients after theyve already paid and scheduled a visit. To make matters worse, the entire appointment lasted one minute. There was no meaningful discussion, no examination, and no effort to help me find a solution. Yet I was still charged for the visit a visit that provided absolutely no value and was based on misleading information from the start. Whats even more infuriating is that the provider added blatantly false information to my medical notes. She claimed to have reviewed my medications with me and discussed various topics that were never even mentioned. This is not just unprofessional its dishonest and potentially dangerous. It raises major concerns about the integrity and qualifications of the providers Teladoc employs.This experience was not only frustrating it was insulting. I feel misled, dismissed, and taken advantage of. I would strongly caution anyone considering using Teladoc to think twice. The service is unreliable, the communication is poor, and the providers appear to be either uninformed or indifferent. I will not be using this service again, and I will be sharing my experience to warn others.

      Reached out to Teladoc about a UTI as it showed to be a covered item per their website. $54 dollars later they basically tell me they can't do anything and to reach out to my PCP. I should have received notice prior to paying if this was not a covered item. Called their support and was advised there should have been some pop up to inform me - which there was never one. Company refused service basically and is saying they can't refund the money.

      Date of Transaction: June 21, 2025 Cost: $50.00 I scheduled a virtual visit through Teladoc for my daughter, ****, who had symptoms of an ear infection. I paid $50 for a four-minute call in which the provider quickly stated he could not diagnose or treat her due to not being able to examine her ear.I found Teladoc by searching for telehealth services that prescribe antibiotics for ear infections. The website strongly suggested treatment would be available, with no clear disclosure that pediatric ear infections are excluded. This restriction was buried in the *** and not shown during scheduling or payment.The provider was impersonal, unsympathetic, and offered no meaningful serviceonly basic advice I already knew. I submitted a refund request the same day via Teladocs portal, which was ignored.Teladocs failure to clearly disclose major service exclusions before charging customers is misleading, irresponsible, and at worst, predatory. Parents should not be expected to search through ***s to find key limitations on care.Desired Outcome:I am requesting a full refund and that Teladoc revise its booking process to clearly disclose treatment limitationsespecially for common pediatric concernsbefore payment is accepted.

       Teladocs response is misleading and does not resolve my complaint.

      First, the response they refer to from 6/25/2025 was an automated message stating they were looking into the issue. I received no actual resolution or meaningful reply until July 3rdafter I filed a BBB complaint. That delay contradicts their implication that the matter was addressed promptly.

      Second, their refusal to issue a refund still fails to acknowledge the central issue: a material service exclusion (pediatric ear infections) was not disclosed at any point during the scheduling or payment process. Instead, their site and advertising led meand reasonably, any other parentto believe antibiotics could be prescribed for common infections. The buried language in a legal disclaimer or FAQ does not meet reasonable standards for informed consent.

      Refusing to treat a common childhood condition is a significant limitation of service. It should have been disclosed clearly and up front, not hidden behind obscure links and legal language. This remains a deceptive business practice and a violation of basic consumer rights.

      I continue to request a full refund and urge Teladoc to revise their intake and payment process to disclose service limitations before charging users.

      Teladoc charged me for a medical visit that did not occur. The Teladoc telephone *** advised me to ask the doctor if they are "in network" and do imaging referrals prior to the beginning of the exam. As instructed, I inquired if the doctor was "in network". The doctor (****** ****) said, "I don't know". I said before we do a visit, I need to know if Teladoc does imaging referrals. He said, "No." I told him then there is no reason to do a medical visit and hung ******* care was rendered. The doctor did not ask a single medical question. He did not inquired about the quality, nature, or intensity of my pain. He did not ask a single question, and he still billed me. The doctor wrote a false note after the 30 second interaction. I immediately contacted ******* to insure I was not charged. They did charge me. I complained verbally and in writing. They said they will not refund the charge. It is fraudulent billing and unethical.

      I am a patient of Teladoc. I spoke with ****** in claims on 6/15/25. I explained to her that I have BCBS FEP as my primary and Golden Rule as secondary. Apparently, ******** has not been filing my ********************* as my secondary. I need of this to be added. Regardless even if **** pays 100 percent. I am sure that I included my insurance information in the system years ago. ****** said she could not manually enter my Golden rule information and I would have to add it to the system. I attempted to do this and the system said it did not recognize the Golden Rule. ****** seemed unclear and tentative. I asked for my issue to be escalated. I need someone in management to contact me asap.

      I have spoken with two representations on a recorded line with United Health Care. The agents were unable to add my golden rule and this is not an option when I attempt online. ****** and ***** both said a manager would call us as they were unable to. I have been waiting over one week for a call back and expect a call back asap to get this issue resolved. **************** has been horrendous.       I had a Teladoc appointment on May 9, 2025. I have secondary insurance and needed a detailed billing to submit to my secondary insurance for reimbursement of my co-pay. I had my husband contact Teladoc since I'm hard of hearing and he had to email them twice to get a response. We were told to contact the claims department which he did on 6-3-2025 and after being on hold for very long time while the representative was trying to help get the detailed billing he was told it would be emailed to him in which it never was so he called the claims department again today and was told they don't do itemized billing and they transferred to member services and after a 1/2 hour was told he had to go back to the claims department again so he asked for supervisor (*****) who answered and then left him on hold again so he gave up trying. How are people supposed to file secondary insurance without an itemized bill? (He did ask for Teladoc to file it and they said they only file the primary insurance) This is company is very difficult to deal with and cant seem to even provide an itemized bill for services with diagnostic codes so I can file with my secondary insurance to get reimbursed for my deductible. Not happy at all with Teladoc Health and they wasted my husbands time and did nothing to resolve a simple itemized bill.

      I called to ask if TelaDoc Health would prescribe an antibiotic for my symptoms and they said yes. I called and asked for the antibiotic and was told no. I was told to drink a ******** and buy over the counter products. I tried to explain that these remedies have not worked but TelaDoc Health had already hung up on me. I have called TelaDoc Health **************** several times and they keep saying my valid complaint has been sent to "Tier 2," but I have never received any response. TelaDoc Health takes the money but did not help me. They lied to me about responding about this important issue. I think TelaDoc health hates US Veterans, steals money from them and the US Government and refuses to assist patients in need of care.
