MasterCard aims to be the global moral and ethical board, pressuring companies and telling them what they can and can't sell. Adults should be able to buy adult things with their adult money. Stop trying to kill mature content.

**** and MasterCard have capitulated to hate groups both locally and abroad. Collective Shout, the ****** and Exodus Cry. Are all evangelists right-wing radicals that have lied about Steam and valve and are getting works of art demonetized. They are deciding what private platforms can and cannot do. **** has too much power and they are listening to some of the worst individuals that claim to help children and women when they don't. This is a monopoly this is making sure that some works of art even *********** ********* and some Charities to help the people of ********* are barred. Now would be one thing if these actions were illegal but this is the question of barring fiction. And now they're going to go after ******* and an AI and anime and even none adult materials because of xenophobic and bigoted concerns and their inability to distinguish fiction and reality. While it is true that no mercy was an objectionable game it was not a simulator of any kind. There were no people hurt all the games banned in question from each side IO having to ban about ****** games and items and seem having to ban over 500 because of obscure laws. The only law that they are confirmed to break was Australia's law of Distributing a work of fiction that didn't go through the classification system. Meanwhile you can find the same thing in the Bible and Game of Thrones and that is given a pass by classification. The same classification board that sees a ******** game called Clubhouse games 51 worldwide classics as needing to be 18 plus despite it having no mature themes. It only has simulated poker with no real money. There is a problem. This is listening to theocrats and really crazy people that cannot tell fiction from reality. And they're going to go after cartoons next. This is incredibly problematic and not good for their brand or Free Speech or art. This makes creators go hungry Collective shout lied

Got cheated out of my money. I paid for gas with my Mastercard gift card and 24 hours AFTER the transaction for the gas was paid a hold was placed on my account. The hold was NEVER removed. I was cheated out of my money. I was planning on buying groceries with the 50 I was cheated out of for my 4 children. So all 6 of us had to go hungry for 3 days! DO NOT ever buy! It is a SCAM! You can call the 800 number, but you will NEVER speak to a representative. The Mastercard company assumes you will NOT have any solutions to undo the way you have been cheated by them. I don't take to having my four children cheated out of food. I WILL be filing whatever charges I can.

There are a lot of merchants that should have lost their licenses due to shady business practices but Mastercard allows them to continue simply because they make a lot of money from them. They know this, we know this, but the emperor has no clothes and Mastercard has no integrity.

My Company purchased Gift Cards for the employees for Christmas as a bonus . The cards were for total $1,000 . When we went to use them the card were denied because the card number was scratched out and when we called master card they said that there was a fraud on those cards and there is no money . They did not want to help us and without saying why there said that we were denied to issue us new cards . It looks like the employees of the company might be stealing the funds and later saying that they can not do anything about it . So just please be AWARE!! DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS from Master card . Total scam !

Was booking a hotel room when a promotion popped from IHG Mastercard for a $300 IHG credit if you open an account and the room I was booking would be free. Applied and the credit couldnt be used towards the room I was booking as it would actually **** *-12 weeks to be given to me but they sent me the credit card and immediately charged a $99 annual fee. Total bait and switch.

On 12.22.24 I purchased 2 MC gift cards for my son to take with him on a business trip 12/23 out of state. The second night 12/24 he called me explaining that neither of the 2 gift cards were working. He called me & both cards weren't working. I asked him to send me screenshots of the cards because I knew if I just called and spoke to a representative they'd make everything right. Little did I know they were just stealing customer's money! I then called back & spoke with ****** who said there was nothing he could do. In essence my son was just going to be left out of state without funds even though I in good faith paid $50 on each card as well as about $14 in activation fees for funds to be available on the prepaid debt cards immediately. That was NOT the case. I asked for a *************** transferred me to ****. She explained they were the benefits ***** I asked what benefits those were & she said identity theft, travel, and lifestyle all of which were ridiculous given the cards were prepaid gift cards with no name on them. I was transferred.****** who immediately transferred me to a supervisor who handled escalations, ******. He explained that MC was put a hold on both of my son's gift cards. The only thing he could do was resend new gift cards that he could expedite to me so I'd receive them in 5 days. This was not okay with me. I wanted them to remove the hold on the cards or refund my cash back to my bank account. When I explained the huge inconvenience this had caused me and my family over the holiday I was met with "that's all we can do." Do you want replacement gift cards sent to you? I said I have no other choice. When issuing new gift cards that I don't even know would work, he stated the balances were both now less than $50. I demanded he send the full $50 for each card if for no other reason for the inconvenience. In the end ****** **** up in my face & said he'd be submitting a dispute which would take up to ***** days to resolve.

I called as soon as I realized that I had been scamed by a very cleverly done fake Burts Bees Kids site. They and I determined that it would be necessary to replace my cards. ****** and tech reports have identified them as scammers out of *********. . It was literally two days before a major holiday. I requested an overnight for my replacement card. Because as I explained, it was the only credit card.we use for all our purchases. The person on the line argued but as I pleaded for an exception because of the Holidays. She agreed to have it sent in 24 hours . 4 hours from the 24 hour deadline I called to ask what had happened.(this is the day before.the holidays) and needed the cards before it got to late..I was told the cards would arrive after the Holidays now. And that "they were sorry" "nothing we can do". Since I recieved an email saying that it was on it's way( I was at this part fuming) Now this morning my husband got an email during our holiday morning, (without our cards available to us) that our cards had been just sent out this morning Presently looking into a more reliable credit card company with services for the very few times. We are in need of help. Our payments have been reliable, we have been with them for decades. But apparently quality and services change over time. Sometimes not for the better..

Problems with gift card on their end. Require me to wait over 2 weeks for my funds to be available without any compensation or consideration for my inconvenience. The whole operation seems extremely shady with customer service being basically non existent and no policy to correct mistakes made in their end.

Master card services are charging interest on pay balances and when you try to speak and explain they yield and try to engage in a fistfight over the phone and this is in a business account where people should be highly educated
