      I do not recall applying for them, but randomly got a text at 10pm from them saying I got my "requested" interview, which I'm quite sure I never requested, as I'm not fond of the idea of being a salesman for overpriced cooking knives. Their message asked "What time would you be available for an interview?" then in less than a second automatically scheduled me for.. immediately. If I did apply there in the first place, my resume includes date of birth and location, which means they should know not to try to force an interview on me at 10pm, the night before my birthday. Incredibly rude and shady.

      I had an interview that lasted 2 hours with the district manager. After two hours, I left and informed the person interviewing me (the district manager) that I was no longer interested in the position. They asked me for my reasoning behind the decision, so I gave them it unbiased. They continued to argue with me in text, and attempt to degrade me saying that I cant follow instructions after I was just trying to give constructive criticism, even after losing interest in the job. I have screenshots for proof, unbelievable coming from a District Manager representing a multimillion dollar corporation. Youd think you would be able to expect at least mutual respect.

      This company tries everything to sell their knives to people who don't want the service.
      I submitted a complaint to a sales rep, and she said she would take my number and submit it to Vector Marketing for feedback. She instead gave my number to her daughter whom called me excessively for 10 straight minutes asking to pitch to me.
      Their sales reps have absolutely no respect to clients who do not want their service, and they are liars.

      As a summer job, nothing compares. Cutco makes quality products, and the company builds a culture of growth.
      I genuinely love my job, which isn’t something many people can say. I first shared a review in 2020, not realizing that by 2023 I’d be running my own office. The leadership opportunities, the ability to help others, and the personal growth I’ve experienced have been life-changing.
      Originally, I planned on medical school after graduating from UIUC. But through Vector, I discovered what I really wanted—to help young people build resumes, develop communication and leadership skills, and earn income, all while creating a supportive, family-style environment.

      I started working with Sebastian in the Oak Brook office in July 2016. I’ve never had a manager care more about my success. His mentorship has shaped me into the person I am today, and I’m grateful for it.

      There is nothing more valuable than one's time and I do not appreciate how this "Prestyn" kid played with mine. Not only did he not respect my time but he also is a bold faced liar. An interview I thought would be roughly 30min to an hour, tops, turned into a 3hr wait around with an additional 4hrs after zoom waiting on his call! He has probably done this to so many people and no one has reported him so he keeps abusing individuals time, selling false promises and flashing ***** watches (very unprofessional). Since this company prays on a younger demographic, (those who just graduated high school), I know that there were others who were treated this same EXACT way and when they didn't hear a response they figured they didn't get the position and accepted the neglect.
      However, I am not them. I do not condone this type of negligent/superiority complex and I do not appreciate this behavior. This Prestyn kid clearly does not have the managerial skills that are needed to be conducting interviews and has the utmost disrespect for people's time. I have never experienced such piss poor behavior from a company during the interview/beginning stages.
      This company's hiring process is abysmal and needs to be checked. The experience I had with this Prestyn kid has left a horrible taste in my mouth and I would not recommend Vector Cutco employment nor products to anyone.

      I would give this zero stars if I had the option. Highly unprofessional and we don’t get paid for all the trainings we’re required to do like other jobs. Even after I quit I had to email the field service about releasing my contract! If I wouldn’t have called to make a compliant and told to send an email my contract would still be active. Also the second day of us being there we gave out contacts and they started calling them a numerous amount of times! This company just wants your contacts and people that make money. It’s not “customer driven” as they state and treats their employees harsh when trying to quit. I definitely even stay for a week.

      At my high school graduation, right where every graduate leaves, was a woman handing out cards for people to join vector marketing. They purposely keep it vague and hide who they truly are on the cards they handed out.
      How disgusting is it to start handing out business cards to people walking to their families to celebrate their graduation? These people are disgusting and will use you. Classic MLM. DO NOT WORK HERE.

      Hi as I was being interviewed they asked me once to fix my camera I did no problem and while I was watching a video I got abruptly cut off and it said I was banned from the interview no warning when I texted them and asked them why they said we warned you both verbally and in writing. Imagine how if they treated their customers that way they would be out of business. I have worked for many years many companies and they claim they are a people business more than a sales business. Not sure how they are in business so long. Anyways I strongly encourage everyone to do business with them at your own risk. They should treat potential new hires more professional and respectful. Just unsettling. OMG.

      Vector has helped me tenfold in the multitude of professional skills I have gained in my time with them. Years later, I find myself still applying the methods provided in their "basic" training. The management went above and beyond to not only teach me, but make sure I felt welcomed and continued to challenge me to make sure I reached my full potential.
      I urge anyone hesitant in this opportunity to give it a real shot, these are good people with great values.

      I put 1 star and thats ONLY because i couldnt put 0 stars matter of fact -0..The training rep is a total bi***…When u txt to ask a question she completely wrote me off!!! I sat in this group training for 16hrs with no LUNCH BREAK jus a few little 5-15 min breaks which isnt long enough to grab sum to eat…only to find out that IM NOT GETTING PAID!!! Yes i know that some places dont pay u while training but 9 hrs a day is alil excessive to sit and stare at a computer screen and not get some kind of lunch break but whatever to each they own….wont Recommend this ******** *** “job” to NOBODY
