      I bought a Bodum bistro electric coffee grinder from ******** on May 8th 2025 (I used my airmiles rewards points). May17th was the first day we used the grinder and it worked the first round of grinding coffee but then when we went to grind the second cup it started smoking out the bottom and stopped working all together. We are wanting to return this and get our money back (or reward miles back).Contacted Bodum support via email on May 17th. On May 23rd they wrote this back:Thank you for contacting BODUM!We are sorry to hear about the problems you've been having and thank you for bringing them to our attention. To be able to help you with this matter I kindly ask you to provide us the following information: - Dated proof of purchase - Photo showing the reported problem - Updated address and phone number in case we need to send you a replacement Once we receive the requested information we'll verify your claim. This same day I provided everything they asked for (except the photo as I explained to them it was smoking and did not feel comfortable plugging it back in due to fire risk). To this day (June 7th) I have not heard anything back from them despite sending two emails asking them what the status of this return was.

      They are only offering me a replacement item  I want my money back or my Airmiles reward miles back  the company said they would not give me either  I do not trust this product as on the first round of grinding coffee beans it started to smoke  this item is a fire hazard and I do not want a replacement

      Ordered **** grinder from ********* in December 2023. ******* stopped working june 2024 well within the 1 year warranty. Contacted ******. They forwarded us to bodum.Started chain of emails with bodum. Lasted until December 2024. Alot of delays. Sent them a video, phone number and address. Last email sent to bodum was in December 2024. Haven't heard back since. Sent another email june 1st. No reply. Would like replacement as it is within the warranty period. It's just for some reason bodum hasn't been communicating with us since December. I have attached a pdf of the email correspondence and the Amazon order info.

      I'm writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a Bodum toaster (Model: **************) I purchased less than two years ago. The toaster has developed a mechanical fault: the lever refuses to stay down, meaning it no longer engages the heating element and cannot be used at all. This issue has occurred without any misuse, damage, or unusual wear.I initially contacted your support team on May 8, 2025, and received a response stating that since the item is outside the one-year warranty period, no resolution or replacement can be offered.I must express my disappointment with this response. I purchased this toaster specifically because Bodum markets itself as a premium brand known for quality and durability. I paid a significantly higher price than standard toasters available on the market, trusting in the reputation of your products. For a product to fail so soon after the warranty ends and due to a basic mechanical failure is unacceptable.While I understand the limitations of a warranty, many reputable brands offer goodwill resolutions in cases where a product fails prematurely, especially when the issue is not due to user error. A rigid reliance on policy, without acknowledging the products poor longevity, reflects poorly on Bodums customer care.Unless this matter can be resolved with a repair, replacement, or at the very least, a discount toward a new unit, I will have to reconsider my trust in Bodum as a brand.

      I received a Bodum coffee maker as a gift 6 months ago (and it was purchased around that time) and the sprinkler head, which is integral to the product functioning, developed a crack and is now ineffective. After searching online I found that this should be a known issue since it is remarkably common. Even though the coffee maker is completely under warranty and should be covered for this issue, I merely wished to buy the defective part so I didn't have to buy a new coffee maker. As the other complaints state, I received an email stating: "We would like to acknowledge that we have received your request and a ticket has been created. A support representative will be reviewing your request and will send you a personal response." Weeks have transpired with no response. I have tried repeatedly to contact them, to no avail. It seems that for all intents and purposes, this company is out of business and claims to the contrary and/or providing support services on their website are fraudulent. There should be an investigation and potential consumers of their products should be made aware that once an item is purchased, it is essentially as if they purchased it at a garage sale or a thrift shop, but for retail prices.

      I originally reached out to Bodum regarding my issue on 4-25-25 and only after I sent a complaint to BBB did they send any response and it was two weeks later! In their email to me they made several unrelated inquiries and did not provide the information that I requested. Even though the unit is under warranty, the issue that occurred was apparently (based upon many forum comments) a manufacture defect, I still only wanted to know where I can purchase the part that is defective. Instead of providing this information, they made several inquiries that were completely irrelevant to the issue at hand. Now a month and a half later, I still can't obtain a simple answer to a simple question!

      ********** Order number I have tried to reach Bodum via email and telephone with no success. We have a defective unit which we reported the day it was It is a teapot, and it leaks again months have gone by without any response of any kind I would like to replacement or the moneyreturned.       this is an error on my part. After reviewing bank statement, I did indeed receive a credit. I also reviewed my correspondence and there was no response from Bodum indicating a return. A simple email or text message would have eliminated contacting the BBB.

      I purchased a coffee grinder on July 27, 2024. It broke on Christmas. I wrote Bodum on December 28 and multiple times thereafter seeking an RMA to return it for repair or replacement. I received automated replies that someone would get back to me, but no response. Email correspondence attached. I now believe Bodum fraudulently represents its products have a one-year warranty as my multiple efforts to contact the company via email and phone remain unanswered.

      Coffee bean grinder starts then quickly grinds to a halt. Tried cleaning out thoroughly inside of grinder parts to no avail. Notified Bodum via their online messaging on about December 17, 2024. (Product purchased last year) Received reply that my inquiry received, and they were working on it. When I did not hear back, I sent second message in mid-March, 2025. Still no response.

      On February 23, 2025, I ordered glasses from this business. I did not receive them, so on March 20, 2025, I completed a ticket online and received an email that I would be getting a personal response from a support representative. When I did not receive one, I submitted another ticket. I still have not received a response, a refund, or my glasses.
