Pine Management and particularly it's ownership are negligent, and almost entirely unrespecting of their tenants rights. I have been engaged with them regarding compensation for a broken fridge, for over a month now. I had begun my requests for a repair back in April, 2022. The fridge simply needed a plastic part which covers the light in the fridge, and prevents dripping from the freezer into the fridge compartment. This request had required at least one follow-** in order for any action to be taken. Upon inspection, I was told a part would be ordered. This took at least another week. When the suspected part was ready for installation, Pine, for some reason, had set-up a visit to my apartment by their fridge contractor. The fridge was working prior to this visit. After the fridge contractor had replaced the part, and supposedly fixed the fridge, I realized the fridge had completely stopped working. More than half of the groceries in my fridge had spoiled, and it took another couple of days to even get a mini-fridge into my apartment. During this time, I was on the hook for purchasing food via delivery, and restaurants (excessively expensive when compared to the cost of groceries). The mini-fridge finally showed up, and was large enough to fit my condiments, and maybe one day's worth of food, at most. This again forced me to make frequent trips to the grocery store, and again, purchase food from restaurants and grocery stores. This went on for three weeks. Apparently, the reason I was without a sizeable fridge for three weeks, was because Pine's appliance supplier was out of the color of the fridge Pine management wanted to install into my unit. I was also told there was no fridge stock available. In any case, if upper management had approved a special request, a fridge from a different supplier could have been purchased. I asked for an abatement towards my rent, and provided my CC statement to show how much I was looking for ($450). I was offered $61.
