  If youre considering renting from C&C Management, run. Don't walk, run. They will take your money at every opportunity, and give you nothing in return.The apartments claim to be "newly renovated", but it is so apparent that they cut corners as every month if not every week, we're calling maintenance to schedule a repair for something!Getting maintenance there is a war on its own. If you can even get someone to answer the phone. Or respond to your email. Even if you do get a response, you're crossing your fingers hoping someone shows up. If they do, there's a chance your repair will get done, but more likely, they'll take a look, snap a picture and tell you someone will be in touch and you start this loop all over again.Facade works has been going on for months, stifling tenants, and they did not offer a single concession for all the dust and dirty blown into our homes. We can't breathe during the summer because of the heavy-duty plastic covering our windows.German roaches and flies everywhere. They offer an exterminator who is worse than their maintenance. You schedule an appointment and they never show. You reschedule and try again next week.Customer service is nonexistent. I sent dozens if not hundreds of emails. No response. About maintenance, about the amenties, about viewings, about leases, you can't get them to respond or pick-up a phone about anything. This place is a masterclass in how to promise nothing and still underdeliver, and then charge more for it. Do yourself a favor and find literally anywhere and anyone else else.

  I am writing to report severe negligence, mismanagement, and unethical treatment by C&C Management (Harlem River Preservation). As the legal tenant of a unit in ******, I was displaced and forced out of my home while the management team knowingly allowed a squatter to occupy my unit.For months, I was charged rent for a space I was not occupying while they allowed the squatter to live rent free, and my attempts to resolve this through communication were met with delays, avoidance, and contradictory information from ****** ****** and others on the team. Despite documentation and court involvement, they refused to take accountability or provide alternative housing for me in a timely or legal manner.I have been forced to seek external support through Legal Aid, ****, HUD, and now BBB, as C&C Management continues to violate basic tenant rights and ignore written communications. Their actions have caused me financial hardship, emotional distress, and legal burden.I am requesting a full rent balance reset, acknowledgment of their mishandling of my case, and assignment to a legal one-bedroom unit in accordance with what I was promised and approved for. This company needs to be investigated for systemic failure and potential housing discrimination.

  It is a scam that is still open illegal as lly. How is it not being charged. Children live here and the local police station is a fraud. No one cares about our lives. They only want. The super told me himself. "If try to leave they offer more money." He keeps breaking into my apartment whole I'm gone. The owner hired him knowing **** is a criminal. Why is no one caring for us. News stations, advocating, and law firms refuse to help me.

  The staff,and the super if ********************* has discriminated against me since l moved into this deathtrap. Mr ****** alleged super told me when l moved in that he don't do nothing it took one year for him to attach my smoke alarm, when asked about the laundry *** ****** told me it's only for certain people, also *** ****** have made unauthorized visits to my apartment under the guise that there is a leak or fire inspection, in which this was not the case. *** ****** painted a big blue X under my window so his vagrant friends can hang out and do drugs, he dedicates his time cleaning their articles, and now they are sleeping in the building. I have complained to Ms. ********* about the people below me hanging their clothes on my fire escape, her response was that they are allowed to hang their clothes on the fire escape which most people know that is a fire hazard and a violation. Don't bother to ask Ms. ********* **** anything because her way if not dealing with me is being ignorant. Ms. ***** will tell you that she don't know and with an attitude. Ms **** gave me the runaround like l was a ping pong ball and gave me a number to a building in New Jersey security desk, when in reality she was the person that was supposed to help me, then there's *** ******* who was supposed to assist me with moving out, another person who like to play ping pong. I'm so glad to be living in a better place where l don't have or have had any problems in my life except for this management. Now these people want to hold on to my Security deposit in which the law states that l am to receive it plus $7.00 l overpaid in rent. I'm now in the process of filing a complaint with ***, and l suggest to anybody out there to file a complaint with *** also call 311 because these highly unprofessional people receive grants from the government in addition to treating people right which they don't,as a tenant we deserve a good management. Don't move into *********************. They get 5 zeros

  I was originally scheduled to move in 8/30/24. On 8/29 I was informed that because 2 people were out on Vacation that I would have to push my move in date to 9/3/24 Today 9/3/24 I show up with the movers with all my things in the truck, the movers start to unload while I wait for Management office to open up. 9am Management office opens only to tell me they have no information that I was moving in today and certain documents werent sent over to them as of yet from the people who was on Vacation the other day and I can not move in today. I took off from work today, All my things were unloaded in front of the new apartment a paid a ridiculous amount of money for the movers to move my things and now I have to pay for storage and for the movers to come back again (who knows how long could be a day from now could be 2 days from now. I was reassured that I would be able to move in today after the original move in date got pushed back. This is beyond disappointing and this is no way to treat tenants. Whos going to compensate me for the money I lost today for a move that didnt happen?

  If I could give zero stars I would! I have lived in a building managed by the company for over 10 years and I can tell you I am fed up trying to reach anyone from C&C. They never pick up the phone or respond back to you and the building is not kept clean at all. The quality of tenants has reduced over the years, it used to be hard working families trying to get by now its ************** waitlisters that seem to be coming in. This is the same for their other buildings as well. If you are renting an apartment with this company, RUN! I cant wait to leave this building! No human being should be living in these conditions with no urgency from management!

  If I could give them no stars, I would! I live in ************************* in *********** **. C&c Mgmt has committed acts of continuous terrorism against me while my mother was alive and after her death, have removed my succession rights and have kept me in court for over a year. They are refusing to certify me through hud and have had their staff be physically abusive in front of the police. I have had to file order to show causes to get heat and hot water. These people are so aggressive and abusive that they continue to enact a constructive eviction, have been refusing basic necessities such as maintenance and have disturbed my quiet enjoyment continuously. This started as a result of a federally funded renovation where all of my mothers life saving equipment was destroyed by their staff. My mother was displaced for over 9 months, went to a nursing home, caught COVID and died. My mother suffered and I had to remove her from a respirator. They are represented by ********* and ******* who along with the staff have said again and again that they dont care what the judge says that I cant stay. I qualify to live in this building and because they wont certify me, they have taken me to court for the full price of the rent which is over ***** per month. They are also refusing to accept *** emergency funding. These people were complicit in the death of my mother along with L&M Development and are doing everything to just get rid of me almost to the point of killing me as well. I have seizures and the amount of pressure has caused the seizures to increase in frequency. These people are scum and do these things to impoverished individuals like vultures. Please take note that they also run ******************************************* in ****** which has had its tax abatement removed and are in danger of receivership. These buildings have some of the same issues: rats, mold, water damage, drain issues, air quality issues and the list goes on. If you complain, they will assault you however.

  C + C Management Company controls various complexes across the city subsidized by government funding yet fails to provide adequate upkeep and maintenance services. Very poor service in the 8 years I lived at Marcus ********************** in ***********, Bklyn. HUD as well as *** *************** need to thoroughly investigate the premises. Also, have poor control over outside population running the area. Limiting the limiting the paying tenants use of the amenities.

  This is a complaint in regards to the entire ********* ******** on Main st ********* Island, *********** I am writing this as I am waiting around to take a shower because we have not had hot water in 36 hrs. I work as a nurse so imagine coming home from working in a trauma center and not be able to shower for two days. We also have major issues with the laundry rooms: each building of hundreds of apartments has 1 laundry room w 8 washing machines and 10 driers and at any given time half of them are not working. I have filed a complaint with 311 in regards to the hot water issue and many people have called our local Public Safety to complain about the same thing, today and yesterday. We do have an emergency number to call but its just an operator who relayed that theyre working on the hot water issue and its Sunday, yesterday was Saturday and no one was working on any of this. There is no hot water in 5 buildings that are 19 floors each. There are hundreds of us who dont have our most basic needs met right now.

  C&C Management is a illegal dangerous gang membership that doesn't care about the safety of their tenants. All it cares about is money and some tenants sell and practice drugs.It's security guards change everytime you turn your head. I don't think the super is legal because he's very lazy and gave me a number that is not in service and always criminals to harass my life.He gave my address without my permission and snuck in my apartment to break my frig, plugged it out and spoiled my food ($250).A *** made him put new batteries in the smoke alarms when he refused to.This listing is running as a fake Supportive Housing program. The landlord did not tell me that I'd be living with mentally ill people. A tenant and security guards have harassed me for *** and tenants have harassed me for money.I've received death threats just for reporting heavy noises and I suffer from Migraines.
