If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. We recently moved to the *** to our newly renovated apartment (in an elevator building) from a 5th floor walk-up in Harlem. From the first meeting with Avi (who came personally to see the scope of our belongings and advise) I knew we were in great hands. He advised us to get rid of some larger furniture (that we were not bringing to the new place) so that wed have plenty of room to stack boxes that we were packing ourselves. He encouraged us to pack as much as possible before his movers came for packing day, in order to save money and time. We did just that. Packed up all the simple things ourselves - probably about half our belongings. Then our renovation hit a snag and we had to change our moving date, last minute. Avi said no problem, and we chose a new date further out. Whew. On packing day, his team of 5 wonderful men showed up to pack all our remaining items and move almost everything down to the truck. They handled our 5 flights of stairs with no trouble. They were exceptionally courteous, friendly, hardworking, and FAST. They left our bed and a few things we needed in the morning. They stored the truck overnight in a locked lot. They came back the next morning to move us to the *** and everything went off without a hitch. They set up our beds and placed all the furniture and our boxes exactly where we wanted. Not ONE thing was broken. We have unpacked everything. Moving is stressful. They made it actually pleasant. All of them were so nice :) They took great care with our belongings and packed everything quickly and WELL. AND, our final **** was a bit less than **** original estimate because we packed a lot ourselves and because these guys are FAST :) Do not hesitate to hire Montia Movers. We are so glad we did!!!
