Greetings, my names is *****. On April 19, 2016 I signed a contract with InventHelp to help me Patent and Market my invention. I already had a provisional patent application. I was ensured after paying $4,000 down I would have my non-provisional application completed and my invention would be protected. Long story short after $10,000 and 2 years later I received no patent, no prototype nor any correspondents regarding my invention I became depress.I was already struggling and God gave me the inspiration and funding to do something great. I trusted InventHelp and they not only betrayed me but they railroaded me too. If only I knew this is how they help people. Now my invention is being advertised and sold all over the world, plus I lost all the rights. I can't even *** because the first to invent laws have been changed in 2012 making it difficult for actual inventors to protect their invention and easy for someone who has the skills and money to steal what ever they come across as valuable to steal it. This is wrong!!! People can play with our justice system and create laws that only benefit a few. Thousands of investors are out billions of dollars in damages and leasing and the company only has to pay a few million in a class action lawsuit then it's back to business as usual? That doesn't make any sense! How is the up and company God fearing poor person suppose to achieve excellence if he cannot rely on his public servants or the justice system to protect his rights. Right to create and benefit their of. This is sad and wrong during hard times like this, companies like InventHelp, now have the green light to violate, rob and con people who trust them to uphold a contract or provide good old fashion reliable ***************** No one should have the right to pork around their ear marks and change the foundation, the founding fathers put in place. Companies like these are treasonous on every level.

    Business Response

We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint.

Nearly 8 years ago, this complainant contracted for a two-year service for the assistance in submitting his invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faith review.   Our records indicate that the services were provided in accordance with the agreement.  The complainants claim now, at this late date, that he never received updates regarding his services is simply untrue.  In fact, our records show that the complainant was updated every step of the way as evidenced by the correspondence he received.  InventHelp also maintains a ************************** which is available to all its inventors during normal business hours, every day.

This complainant also contracted for Patent ******************** Services in which we refer our clients to an independent patent attorney for the preparation of a patent application on his behalf.  Our records indicate that we referred him to a patent attorney in January 2016 and any activity and/or questions surrounding the patent, or the process should be directed to the patent attorney.

Further, it is evident that this complainant did not uphold his end of the agreement, as he stopped paying for the services years ago, and is still in arrears over $5,000.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

    Sincerely,
    *************************
