    Seated is an app where u gain credit for going to restaurants that can be used for gift cards. They changed their policy and took away the credits i had accumulated (app. $400). I tried to communicate the issue with business but they were unwilling to reimburse any part of the credits i had accumulated as a regular user. I was in good standing and it was not about anything i had done outside their policies. They changed their terms of service and took away the money i had earned. **************** was not understanding. I would simply like a reimbursement of the credit or the equivalent $ amount sent to me. Ivedeleted my account because of my frustration with how they handled this so ideally any reimbursement would be outside of the app itself

    I've been using Seated as a rewards program for going to restaurants for several years now. As of this writing, I amassed $1,014 in rewards on the system, as well as $200 in Delta gift cards. I recently made an in-app complaint about a receipt I uploaded not being accepted. Later that day, I was locked out of my account and told to contact support. After 4 days of no responses, I get a response stating: "Thank you for reaching out. Your Account was removed from the Seated Community due to the changing of receipt information on recent receipts uploaded to ****************************, and ****************** Cottage, resulting in the forfeiture of any remaining Seated funds in the Account. Please know that this decision wasnt taken lightly, and this decision is final." I venehmetly deny changing any of the receipts, and this has been the only response I have gotten from the company in regards to the complaint I compiled. Thus, I have lost out on all the rewards I have amassed, despite being loyal to this app, recommending it, and using it widely. I am hoping I can at the very least get my rewards back.

    After being abroad, I logged into my account to find that today of all days, my balance went from $155 in rewards to $0 as a reward adjustment. I visited the app on April2 because I was pushed a $10 promo code and would have expected to be alerted of this in app that I needed to make a reservation or cash out in order to not lose my reward balance. I have text messages and emails turned on, so I wouldn't have missed it and would have taken action had I known there was a defined type of "activity"/90 day policy regarding rewards.I understand that there is a policy on the app that is clear _once this happens_ but as a UX designer, this is ethically unacceptable and a model for dark UX. I shouldhave receivedan email communication, a text message, at least two weeks notice with a toast or an alert in-app, and a statement of this being the policy upon signing up. I'm seeking $155 in a billing adjustment as that was what I was promised and the whole point of engaging with the app.As stated in other complaints, all attempts to communicate with the business are futile and this is exactly what BBB should be here for.

    This app fraudulently incentivized me to use their platform to make restaurants reservations with the promise of a portion of my bill being returned to me as a credit in their store. After earning $45 in credits they shut my account down with no warning. Even more concerning is the night before shutting my account down they asked my for a credit card statement proving I had dined at a particular restaurant. I provided this, and immediately after my account was removed. Was this a scam to get my personal information?

    I have been using the app for 3 years and they have been awarding my account with cash as that is their entire platform. After a short period of inactivity, they took all of my earned money. $230. I'm asking that they return the money as rewards to my account or cash equivalent.

    On December 23rd I went to the Seated app to book a new reservation for 2, when I noticed that my $198 of rewards were missing from my account. When I emailed their **************** Team about this, they said that "rewards expire after 90 days of inactivity", which is also what their previous email reminder said. The problem is that they sneakily hide that accounts are only "active" if they make a BOOKING in that period, NOT just log in. Not only is this unprecedented at any other company, but "inactive" almost always means that an account hasn't logged in in a very long time.The company admitted to me that this is indeed misleading, and yet they still refused to refund expired points that I earned by spending thousands of dollars in their app. It is a deceptive practice at best and truly unethical, and it really seems like a desperate attempt designed to save the company money at their users' expense.I discovered that other people on here and elsewhere ran into the same exact issue and had no idea what "inactive" meant on the Seated App, so it's a common problem that they are simply ignoring. On top of that, I tried to redeem my rewards for Delta gift cards multiple times in the past and received an error each time, so I couldn't even use the rewards when I wanted to. When I asked a **************** agent about that she said that Delta wasn't part of their Rewards program any more, even though they are still clearly listed there.

    Seated App is an app that gives users credits from dining out at restaurants. I had $47 in credits that I was saving to redeem until I got to a larger number of credits. I went to redeem my credits yesterday and saw my account had zero credits and they stole the money from me and are refusing to re-credit me from my prior experiences.

    So I made an account for this app using a phone number and an email. However, my phone number was changed for a reason beyond my control. I'd be willing to provide legal documentation about how my phone number had to change if needed, but because my phone number had to change, I can no longer access my original account on this platform as well as all of the finances I invested into the account. So now I'm really confused because this means that even though I have the same email, all of my data and money amassed is no longer accessible for me. Is there any way for me to get access to the money that I had in my initial account?348 dollars is how much money was in my initial account according to my email confirmations.

    I discovered that my rewards amounting to $69 had been removed from my account without any prior communication. I was informed about a new policy wherein an account is deemed inactive if no bookings or redemptions occur within a 90-day window. However, this new policy was not communicated to existing customers like me.It is crucial to understand that my attempts to engage with the Seated App have been hampered by a noticeable reduction in available corporate restaurants. Despite my sincere efforts to use the app whenever possible, the current limitations prevent me from making regular reservations. Consequently, my loyalty should not be misconstrued as inactivity, especially when the circumstances are beyond my control.Upon contacting the customer service, I was informed that notifications were allegedly sent to me regarding the upcoming expiration of my rewards, which occurred on June 23. I wish to stress that despite my thorough checks of my email inbox, spam folder, and text messages, I did not receive any communication from Seated regarding the impending rewards expiry. This lack of notification has left me feeling blindsided and frustrated.Furthermore, I was informed that an extension of 30 days was granted to my rewards expiry. Regrettably, I did not receive any notification or communication regarding this extension either. My account email is ******************* and I kindly request the swift restoration of my rewards. I believe that in the spirit of fairness and transparency, the Seated App should consider this matter seriously and act accordingly.

    I am filing a complaint against Seated Technologies regarding the unauthorized withholding of my earned cashback rewards. Seated Technologies operates an app where users can choose restaurants and earn cashback as a reward for their patronage. I have been an active user of their app and accumulated a significant amount of cashback, estimated to be between $100 and $165, which was redeemable for gift cards.Recently, when I attempted to redeem my cashback rewards through the app, I discovered that the option had been removed. I reached out to Seated Technologies' customer service department for assistance. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, they have not provided a satisfactory response or returned my cashback funds.Seated Technologies' decision to withhold my earned cashback rewards without any valid justification is unfair and deceptive. As a loyal user of their app, I followed the terms and conditions in effect at the time of earning the cashback, and there was no indication that my funds would be taken away.I am seeking a fair resolution to this matter. I request that Seated Technologies promptly returns the full value of my earned cashback rewards, which falls between $100 and $165. Additionally, I urge them to reinstate the option to redeem cashback for gift cards, as originally advertised.
