1 starI think the thousands of one star reviews on here and elsewhere (check out the subreddit /hellofresh on Reddit) speak volumes. I, too, have come here to express my extreme frustration with HelloFresh. Who does your marketing? Why do you feel the need to FLOOD people's mailboxes with wasteful fliers in a pathetic attempt to get them to sign back up? How out of touch can you possibly be? We signed up for HelloFresh literally years ago, cancelled pretty much immediately because there are WAY better options, and to this day, without fail, we still receive mailers on a weekly basis. Instead of spending an insane amount of money on mailers that literally NO ONE WANTS, maybe try using that money to invest in a different approach. Or maybe pay your employees more to come up with a strategy that isn't, "waste paper and annoy everyone." It's so insane because I truly can't think of bigger turn off from a brand. I finally figured out how to opt out, and I get a notice saying it can take 90 days until I'm removed. Delete my data and move on!!!HelloFresh

1 starI had a terrible experience with HelloFresh. Their app makes it nearly impossible to cancel services, forcing customers to go through a frustrating chat process with multiple agents. I was charged $137.99 despite trying to cancel in advance, and when I requested a refund due to financial hardship, they refused and only offered account credit even after I made it clear I no longer wanted the service.Their cancellation process feels intentionally difficult and predatory. *** since filed a ****** dispute to get my money back. I will never use HelloFresh again and recommend that others avoid this company.HelloFresh

1 starabsolute a rip off. They continue to send boxes after i cancelled. they send no notification of sending just delivery notificaton. they never once left it outside my dooor they left one box outside my building which got stolen as i specifically said leave at my apartment. they never did. now i have a fridge full of pasta dishes when i specifcally said meat and veggies. absolute nightmare trying to get my money back. 20 dollars for each meal for for 2 people is not economical at all. it is a total rip off.HelloFresh

1 starMISLEADING AF. Hellofresh is super shady. They advertise 10 free meals, but after making you go through all the order questions and preferences instead of 10 free meals, its 6 total meals, not free, but for $82.92. It doesnt apply the 10 meals for free promo code automatically, which potentially leads to people paying this insane price. But even once you click the promo code, and apply the 10FREEMEAL promo, its STILL only 6 meals, not 10, and it STILL CHARGES YOU. Now down to $32.93. There are no 10 meals, and there is no free. Absolute waste of time and very scammy.HelloFresh

Upon review, the "10 free meals" promotion is actually divided across a number of deliveries and is applied as a percentage discount. If you add up the discounts applied to your boxes, they will equal the value of 10 free meals, along with free shipping on your first delivery. We understand that the promotional offer may have seemed unclear, and we apologize for any confusion it caused. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want to ensure you have a clear understanding of the promotion.

1 starDeeply disappointed by this companys lack of accountability and customer care. While I was out of the country with no internet access, I was charged for a shipment I never approved. When I contacted customer service and explained the situation, they refused to issue a refund and only offered store credit. If youre willing to offer credit, why not simply return the money and cancel the shipment?This rigid, unsympathetic approach shows a clear disregard for customer experience. I ultimately canceled my account due to their unwillingness to make things right. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice before doing business here.HelloFresh

1 starI was happy until a delivery was delayed 24 hours, delivered to the incorrect location vs door and tge ice cooling had melted. Checked the 3 meats temperature and 2 pork, 1 beef were ***** degrees in the Florida heat. **************** offered a refund fir meat of $28 which meant $42 charge for other food items of no value to me. They acknowledged delivery issue and didn't care I would cancel versus continue with a refund. I was happy but their error should nit be at my expense. Canceled my subscription and out $42. Very unhappy-HelloFresh

1 starFor a supposed week of pre-made meals for 2 Including nice sounding meals like "ohhh parmesan chicken", "soy meat loaves", etc I get no meats, a few overpackaged breadcrumbs, etc, and zero recipes. 1 starI have used Hello Fresh for YEARS! I have had many customer service issues over the years but stupid me, I stayed with them. Today I lost my mind. Their app, THEIR APP, didn't save my preferences for meals. So I contacted them to change my meals; they weren't available so I asked to cancel the box. They said they would. Well, my box came today so I called and said I cancelled it and I'm not paying. The response - sorry, there is nothing we can do. For real?? YEARS I have been a customer and THIS is how they treat their loyal customers?? OMG - they are beyond awful. 1 starSave yourself the aggravation. I tried the free trial and went back and cancelled after the first delivery because they sent me pork, turkey, and foods that I did not like! Then they reactivated my account and sent me an email that my order was out for delivery. I called immediately after I noticed my account was not cancelled and asked to stop the delivery, and I have been charged $90 twice, when their advertisement said it would not be that much for a meal for 2 people for 4 days, and mostly veggies and salads. This time they are sending random meals they chose and want to get rid off. This is ridiculous!! Save your money and the aggravation!
