1 starWorst company I have ever dealt with. Tried to do a purchase with them and got approved but some how the purchase didn't go through with wayfair.. spent every day on the phone or chat with them.this week and have got the run around everyday.. have even done 3 way calls with them with wayfair telling them they have no purchase on there end for me and to refund my money and to cancel the loan. Still waiting on them to release the money I have paid up front. Will never do business with this terrible company.Review fromCivon T

1 star***** using this company. Try to find alternative financing if that is what you are looking for. I applied to use their company for a lease a few years ago. However, I never went forward with it. This week was black Friday and cyber Monday, so I wanted to use my approved financing from Katapult. I went through the app and got to checkout and it wont allow me to proceed because my address on my profile doesn't match my current address. I called Katapult due to the time crunch to try to resolve this issue and was told the only way to change the address on file was to send in my ID (even if the address doesn't match) and a bill or bank statement of some sort. I reluctantly sent in my photo ID (which has my current address on it) and I sent a bank statement that showed my address and full name. However, now Katapult is refusing to accept the documentation, because I didn't send them my "full" bank statement. Why do they need that? I sent the portion of the statement with my name and current address. It was also dated within the last 30 days like they asked and it was on the banks letter head. The only thing not provided was my banking information and list of transactions. There is no reason at all for them to request that information. Verification of my identity and address was more than enough for my address change request. There is literally no excuse for them to deny my change because I didn't provide them with the details of my banking statement. That is literally none of their business and has nothing to do with them. Also half the stores on their website that they advertise that use Katapult don't even list them as a payment option at checkout, so they are also falsely advertising. Avoid like the plague. Use affirm or Klarna if your credit is good enough. I think Katapult is stealing peoples information. Why else demand to see irrelevant personal information?Review fromAnthony H

1 starWorst company ever. I had no problems with them initially. Had several leases with them. Paid them off with no troubles. Now that is not the case. When i log into the website because I needed to change my home address. 5 emails later I finally get it done, bearing in mind I sent in the forms they require for the address change each time. I get that done and now they are denying me when I go to check out. I have a fairly large limit. I wasn't even using half of it.I came to them because they don't require a credit check and I have always paid everything I leased in full.Don't bother with this company. 3 starsI made a purchase with the intention of paying off the remaining balance in full within 90 days. Overall, I had a positive experience with both the company and the product up until the 90-day buyout period, which was set to end on 10/05/2024. My weekly payments were processed consistently, and everything seemed to be in order.However, when I logged in on 10/05/2024 to complete the buyout, I was surprised to see that the amount had increased from $238.53 to $494.76. I had previously checked the balance a few days earlier, and the early buyout amount was still $238.53, which I also screenshotted for reference.Due to my work schedule, I wasnt able to contact the company immediately as their office hours didnt align with mine. When I finally reached out a few weeks later, the agent informed me that nothing could be done since I didnt contact them by 10/05/2024.I believe companies should stand by their policies, and in this case, it seems they did not. While I acknowledge that I could have completed the buyout earlier when I checked on 10/03, I was unable to do so at the time due to work commitments. 1 starThey are the worst company ever. You dealing with a bunch of idiots. I don’t know anything. They told me to send them a lease. I did send them a lease because it had a handwritten where I paid my new landlord something they wouldn’t accept it. Are you kidding me? Obviously, you got more money to play with Scents. 1 starI downloaded Katapults website and tried to register my information to open an account. As soon as I put my cellular number in the system, I immediately was prompted with a denial alert in bold red letters. I called the customer service number and spoke to two different ***resentatives. One told me to call back because the technical support team was close for today, so I called right back and pressed the option for technical issues. To my surprise, it turned out that the technical support team was not closed and that the first *** had lied to me just to get me off the phone. The story goes that it turns out that the phone number I entered into the app had previously belonged to someone with an account already with ********************. They asked me to use a different number. I explained to the *** that I do not have different numbers to use. He told me that there is nothing that could be done even though I asked him to send me to the fraud department, and he Refused to transfer me even though there is an active account opened using my phone number. Im floored right now and Im trying to get this investigated and they are refusing me of my rights to have my number investigated. I was told the only way I could have my number removed is if the person whom used my number has to call and have it removed that way. How is this even possible? Im reaching out in hopes that I get some attention with this matter ASAP! Thank YouKatapult

1 starDo not order from this company. I agreed to pay $159 every 2 weeks. Last pay day they took $159 and next day took $250. This pay day they took $159, the next day they took $250, then 2 days later took another $159. This is not what I agreed to. So I am canceling my bank account cause they wont get another dime from me!Katapult

1 starI was sent a defective product through top mobility/ewheels scooter.Katapult expects me to pay or return it and they keep my $1200.It's not even 30 days old and has a warranty Ewheels won't honor and Top Mobilitys policies for defective products violate state law.This company is a scam. I paid $1200 the first payment so I could pay it off in 90 days.Plus they want $1200 in shipping and restocking fees which is illegal in ********** has to be a scamKatapult

1 starDO NOT DO BUSINESS with Katapult. Went through a retailer with a lease agreement, paid the first payment and then the order was cancelled. Hit to my credit report and all they could do is offer a refund of the first deposit WITHOUT an explanation. Their customer service was not helpful and kept repeating lines from a manual.Katapult
