Ive used cash advance apps in the past, and Ive had little to no issues with them. Ive almost always paid them back on time, and the times I didnt, I was always able to do some sort of extension on the payment date. On todays date, I downloaded the app, made an account, and confirmed the advance. After confirming the advance, I realized this app was not at all what I had expected, or what they advertised. I would have never used this if I had known I had to shop with them in order to get any sort of benefit from having an account with them. The whole apps set up is extremely sketchy and difficult to guide through. Ive contacted customer service to see if they could just take the advance out of the account before I get charged through my bank and they are refusing. So this money will just sit there and I will have no intended use for it? They are now ignoring messages. I cannot find a number to even contact them over the phone. Now since Ive done some research, and noticed all of the other complaints involved with this scam of an app, I feel stuck, confused, taken advantage of, and scared because I do not want to be in the hole for something that can easily be credited back. It will not let me disconnect or delete any of my banking information/account. Seeing now that they have a reputation for this kind of behavior, and I probably wont even get some sort of resolution for this problem is concerning. I dont want anyone else to go through what Im currently going through. They only offer you to spend the money by shopping in their expensive, low optional store, or buying sketchy cell phone plans. Apparently I have to spend 45 bucks through them, before I can transfer anything to my actual bank or card. I do not even want to fool with them. I just want to make sure I will not have to be charged through my bank, and they can have the amount back thats sitting in the app. If I have to pay a small dollar difference, I dont even mind that.
