      Hello ******,

We take issues of fraud very seriously, and have informed our team of this. To reclaim the funds, you will need to work with your card issuer to dispute the purchase. Charges from SeatGeek are only made if the card is entered in full, along with the security code and expiration date, which means anyone with access to your card may make a purchase.

We consider this matter to be resolved. Please reach out at ***************************** with any further questions.

      Best wishes,

I purchased tickets on February 4th, 2023 for LA ****** tickets (***********) but ended up getting word that my plans/circumstances changed. It said on my ticket page on seatgeek that I could request a refund until February 8th; I ended up asking for a refund via the link on the order and it ended up giving me a promo code/store credit. Despite this I was also given the tickets, which didn't make sense if I asked for a refund. I then reached out to customer service about this glitch and hoping to return the tickets, and making it clear that I am willing to do whatever it takes to resolve the situation. My promo code was taken away, and then when I reached out I was spoken to 1) In a rude manner 2) LIED TO in that they tried to claim that I kept the tickets- even though I never said I wanted to keep them. I never accepted the tickets either. And now I am being held liable for an Affirm loan with nothing to show for it. Ideally because of this unique situation, I would primarily like 1) a full refund to the loan balance from Affirm I only think this is fair.If not, the restoration of my promo code to my account. It doesn't make sense that I am being spoken to rudely and lied to, only to have to be held liable for a loan when I have nothing to show for it.I have more documents that can be submitted if needed.

      Hi *****

After reviewing your order information and investigating into your Swaps return we were able to determine that your tickets were in fact mistakenly issued to you despite your Swaps return being completed. Additionally after reviewing your interactions with our support we were also able to confirm that you were trying to rectify the situation and have these tickets returned to SeatGeek before the day of your event. As a result we have gone ahead and had one of our agents reach out to you with an offer that we hope you find satisfactory. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach back out to our support team or continue to work with the agent who has reached out.

I was purchasing one item, was billed for two. I have request a refund several times on their website, and several times by email, and they will not answer or refund. They supposedly have a "100% money back guarantee", and I have requested a FULL REFUND for the $84.00 ** I was charged.

I bought tickets to a ************* Sol concert happening in Aug. after I bought the tickets I decided to sell them as I couldnt make it to the event. This is when I saw seat geek offers a refund. So I decided to return my tickets for which they gave me a promo. But I have been unable to use the promo on any other event even when the event clearly states that is accepts promo codes. The frustrating part is there is no way to reach the seat geek because their help centre is an endless loop of articles with no agent to help at the end. Now I am wondering if this is a scam and I should have just sold my tickets elsewhere instead of getting a refund promo. The crazy part is I only have a year to use the promo because it expires after that but seat geek has made it impossible to use the promo Tickets purchased for Aug 5th show in *******. Date of purchase March 10. Date of return March 25

I bought tickets to a braves game. The confirmation email to those tickets stated I could not refund or tranfer those tickets. That was not stated BEFORE I bought them. So now I have 102$ worth of tickets that are just gonna sit because my vacation was postponed and they say they can't help. They are a billion dollar business that is getting away with scamming people.Shut it down.

I was trying to buy tickets from them and thought it was a legitimate purchase because the website said tickets are refundable and no where it said the tickets were for final sale. They also said they werent going to send the tickets until a couple of days before the concert starts. Unfortunately, something came up today and my family and I decided we werent able to make it to the concert so I requested for a refund. But then the terms popped up saying the refund could only be given for store credit and its going to expire within 12 months. This is nonsense and not a reasonable solution because we dont go to concerts very so often. So, if I dont use up the one time credit within a year timeframe then that means all that money I spent is gone. Additionally, I tried contacting customer service to deal with the situation but the company doesnt provide any contact information. Its making me believe its more like a scam and saying that its returnable is really just false advertising. I just hope I can get the whole refund back and dont want to deal with them anymore. Thank you!Attached is my supporting document saying that the tickets are returnable and a proof of my purchase.

I purchased wheelchair tickets by mistake. I contacted Seat Geek immediately after noticing the error. I simple asked that they cancel the purchase & offer a refund. They said they could not due so & said I could only sell the tickets. I actually can't sell the tickets because of event restrictions.

I was supposed to see ***** in concert on 4/5 in ********. I purchased 3 tickets for $339 in October of 2022. Seatgeek has a policy that you will get your tickets ***** hours prior to the event starting. My tickets did not arrive and the day before on 4/4 I emailed a rep who said they will guarantee my tickets will be received 4 hour before the event started. So now it is the day of the event (4/5) and it is 3pm and I am asking for my tickets. I spoke to 3 different customer service reps in online chats for about 5 hours total that night, asking for a refund because it was still 5:30pm (when the doors opened) and I still did not have my tickets. To get to the concert I would have had to travel over an hour and a half to get to the venue so at this point I asked for my refund and did not want to go. Then seatgeek delivers my tickets at 6:45PM when the show is starting in 15 minutes. They claim it is the person who was selling the tickets fault, but why am I the one who is out $339. They should have refunded me and the person who could not deliver the tickets should be the one suffering consequences. Everywhere on the site it says that you will receive your tickets at the latest 4 hours before the show starts. I waited a month for my refund and they just told me yesterday 4/26 that I will not get a refund and a $20 off coupon instead. At this point Im so fed up with Seatgeek and I just want my money back.

I purchased 2 tickets through SeatGeek on March 30,2023 for Modest Mouse/Pixies show in ***********,** Aug 25, 2023 for a total of $225.60. Three weeks ago I went to check on the tickets online and the event was labeled as cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions and that my tickets will be accepted for the new date. Last week there was no information posted and yet the venue where the show is being held has no statement of the show being rescheduled for a later date, it shows the original date. I ended up reaching out to the show's venue event coordinator and they confirmed that the show was still happening and that only selective ticket vendors are selling valid tickets. The coordinator asked to view my tickets to confirm for me if they would be valid, and when I downloaded the ticket PDF from SeatGeek, it showed SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME ON THE TICKETS I PURCHASED. So the coordinator suggested to me that it would be best to return for a refund and repurchase from a valid vendor. As I went to set up my payout account, my ******************** account has a PROMO CODE coupon for $225. Is that meant to be my refund? I would just like my money returned. The most frustrating part is there is no phone number to call to deal with this issue.

      Business Response

      Date: 05/09/2023

      Hi there,

The tickets you purchased had someone elses name on them, as you purchased secondary resale tickets from a ticket broker. Its very common for a ticket purchased on SeatGeek to have someone elses name on it. This is usually the name of the person who originally purchased the ticket from the event box office (i.e. the primary market). By the time you see the ticket, it has been re-sold by that person at least once. In many cases, regardless of how many times a ticket changes hands, the name on it will not change. The name on your ticket has no bearing on whether you will be admitted to the event. The barcode is the only important piece of information on your ticket that will be scanned at the entrance.

I understand that you returned your Pixies and Modest Mouse tickets with SeatGeek Swaps. When purchasing a ticket via SeatGeek, if it is ***** Eligible, the page will read Returnable until (date and time that is 72 hours prior to event.) If you click on the question mark pertaining to this, it will read: Return your tickets for no cost anytime up to 72 hours before your event. No questions asked. Return these tickets anytime up to 72 hours before the event starts and well give you a one time use promo code for the full amount of your order to use on a future event on SeatGeek. No added fee. No questions asked. After a ***** eligible ticket is purchased: As soon as the return option is clicked, it says Return your tickets for credit to use on a future purchase.

In both purchasing and after purchase, the ***** terms of service are available. If a customer would like to recoup their money back, we always advise resell as an option. We do find our ***** program as a convenient program for customers. SeatGeeks Swaps program is uniquely made for you to return your tickets in exchange for a Promo Credit, we wont be able to provide a cash refund for your order.

In addition, we are available via email, chat, and phone at **************. We consider this matter resolved. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us at *****************************. We will be glad to assist.

I purchased tickets to an event that has been cancelled. I was told to wait four weeks to receive the refund on the tickets purchased. This event was purchased in October of 2021 and they have yet to respond to any emails sent. In addition they do not have a number to reach anyone over the phone. The amount of the charge was $1,371 with no way to communicate with the company. The venue said the refund would come from the point of purchase which is seat geek and they have been unresponsive to multiple messages through the email listed. I am looking to be refunded for the event purchased that was cancelled by the venue.
