    I cancelled my subscription DURING the free trial and was billed on 5 different occasions. They can tell by my history that I haven't even logged in to the site since I cancelled but continued to get billed. I reached out to them through chat and was refunded 1 month as a "courtesy" this is unacceptable and after reviewing other complaints I see I am not the only person who they have done this to.

    Hello. I bought an image for my daughter birthday and they had been charging me unauthorized 29 dollars a month on my PayPal account. I claimed that today and all they offer me was a free cancellation of the account besides being told that I didnt signed off for a monthly payments

    Signed up for a free 1 month trial of a yearly subscription with "no charges if cancelled before the 30 days." Turned off auto-renewal before the 30 day timeframe. Was charged $29 on 9/9 and again on 10/9. Contacted Shutterstock to find out what was going on. Was told it was a yearly subscription paid at a 'discounted monthly rate' and that the charges were "legit." When I requested to have them completely cancel the plan the customer service rep ********* stated "there are rules that apply" but did not elaborate on what those rules were until asked. There is also a cancellation fee involved which was another $40.
