    I was going thru hard times so i knew i had to do something i contacted this company and set up a 48 month plan to get 10 credit cards paid off. it is now 2024 and i am on the last month of my payment and they are asking for more money and asking to be extended my contract with them based on the transactions report they have only settled on credit card are paying on a couple and i have made my payments on time and never missed a payment but yet i had 2 or my biggest accounts DEFAULT for reasons they cant explain my credit score they they promised would go up is still trashed it never moved i advise not to use this company please do not

    I contacted Lakeview Law Group to help resolve some debt issues. This is absolutely the worst company i have ever dealt with. My credit rating has fallen nearly 200 points since i went with this group. Two of my creditors have now filed warrants in debt on me. I notified the company on numerous occasions and was told by their customer service agents that they would get back to me not a single one has. I have not been allowed to speak to any of the so called negotiators with the firm. when the first creditor filed on me i sent it to Lakeview and all they have done is change the status from idle to summons. I have spoken to two of my creditors and both say that the company has only contacted them by sending the power of attorney letter. I will also be filing a complaint with the New York Bar accusing the company of malfeasance.

    I was told that I would have all my accounts consolidated and that if I paid ****** for 42 months that my credit cards and my bank loan would be paid off. It has been four months and none of my credit cards have had any type of payments. I am a single mother and now my credit has gone downhill so bad I went from 740 to 523 and all my cards are shut off and I have all these late fees and my bank that I have my loan with has taken two payments out of my account along with paying ****** that I ended up having to borrow money from a relative because I had no money to pay my electricity or put food on the table. I am so upset and I know if I cancel with them, they arent going to give me a full refund that I deserve. My credit is ruined and now I cant even afford to live. This company was supposed to help me ease my financial situation not make it ten times worse!

    We signed on with LakeView Law Group in September of 2022 to help with our debt consolidation. They advised us we would have a 4 year plan and the payments per month would be $971.92. I wish I knew then what I know now! We totally understand that we incurred the debt. But when you hire a company to help get you out of the debt and instead they totally ruin you and your credit in the process, it is not acceptable. LakeView dragged their feet. There was 6 accounts in total we gave to LakeView to help "settle". LakeView did not make the expected attempts to settle the debt they said they would. Instead, they asked for more and more money from us. We received 3 court orders from 3 different creditors and forwarded the paperwork to them as advised. They did nothing to stop the proceedings, but told us they were working with the creditors and not to worry about the court orders. HA! Months later our bank accounts were frozen, including my adult children's accounts as my wife is listed with them on their accounts and we had a court order demanding the full payment of over $28k due within 5 days. We called LakeView who stated there was nothing they could do. We had to borrow money from a family member to pay off that debt to unfreeze my kids accounts. One of the other court orders resulted in a lien on our home. And the 3rd one we had to force them to even talk to the creditor, who we were told on 2 separate occasions there was a cash settlement offered that we could have taken, but then told at the last minute that we were not allowed to take that offer, we had to take the monthly payment plan instead, (fraud) which once again raised our payment over $300 a month. Lakeview has caused serious financial hardship on us which is much worse then the original debt caused. Lakeview also refuses to give us the phone an email transcripts we have repeatedly asked for between us and them, and also the creditors they contacted. Stay away from this company!!

    They are trying to settle with financial offers, however they are very low and not close to helping resolve issues they have created.

    Debt Consolidation? This company will ruin your life and your financial status. To everyone that wants to use this company, believe me, don't fall in their trap. They will take their time for you to pay them fees and then the situation will go worst. It's been 3 years for my program and I had 6 accounts. At the end of the program they closed only 2 account and one in payment plan plus they will ask you at the end of the program for an extension and additional money. The worst company ever. Don't fall for them and think twice before sign those papers. I feel that there is a problem of discrimination in this company with clients of Type A and ones with Type B.Of course the Type B are not even considered

    In Aug 2021 I signed a contract with Lakeview Law Group for **************** Services. I would pay $379 for 42 months and they would get my 5 debits reduced and resolved. It's been 2 1/2 years and they still have 2 to negotiate on. They called me about 6 months ago and stated they needed me to pay another $80 dollars a month. They called me yesterday and stated they needed me to pay another $265 a month on top of the $460 I pay every month. That's insane. That's $725.00 a month. On top of that they stated they needed me to pay $200 a month for another **** months after ****** months are up. I told them I never signed anything that said I would be asked to pay more and for a longer term. She stated well it's legal. Well, I'm retired. I don't receive much in the way of social security or pension. I told her I can't pay that. I have to work part time to have enough to live on now. They also told me in the beginning I would lose me good credit, but it would bounce right back. My credit is so bad right now. It's still in the poor range. One of my creditors took my debit to court. Lakeview didn't settle with them in time. I knew they were taking it to court and I told Lakeview Law Group. They stated that was my problem. They don't handle things that go to court. It wouldn't have gone to court if they would have taken care of it in time. I want rest of my debits settled and to pay them no more money. As much money as I have paid them, I could have negotiated my own debit. She stated $130 a month goes to the law group for their fees. They have still gotten plenty of money from me to pay those debits off.

    I signed with Lakeview Law Group on May 6, 2023; I should have gone with my gut NOT to do this, I knew there were "start up fees" it was supposed to be a flat $300, and admin fee of $65 and a bank fee of $15 paid over a 5 month period! I made my first payment to them on 5/11/23 and they only deposited $148.44 out of the $577.49, where did $429.05 go? They have taken $577.49. out of my account since May and have only contacted 1 creditor to make any arrangements, BUT I have 2 accounts with that specific creditor! This has caused my credit to drop ******* points! If you want to change the date of your payment they tell you to give them 48 hours, I gave them 5 business days to change it from 9/5/23 to 9/8/23 and they still pulled it on 9/5/23, which caused my account to go into the negative. I just want my money back minus their start up fee($300, $65 and $15) and the 3 payments($302, $292, $292) they made to my one creditor. I have paid a total of $2887.45 and I want a refund of $1621.45; I will do this myself!

    This company took my money, and was suppose to contact my creditors to make payment arrangements. I have been paying them $600 dollars a month since March, I was aware of their start up fee of $416.13. how ever I thought the rest of my payments would be going to a savings account for me to pay creditors. they have made contact with one company out of ten. Lakeview waits around until your credit is so in default so they can continue taking your money. they tell you dont contact your creditors and dont talk to them on the phone. I believe they do this so you wont know they haven't even tried to negotiate a payment for you. I only figured this out because one company sent a letter of account closed. I called them they said they received a letter but they have not been contacted to negotiate a payment plan. I called Lakeview and they were trying to have me believe what the company told me doest make any since and that I shouldn't believe. so I asked why would it take so long to contact my creditors, she wanted to give me it's a whole process thing. I told her they were taking $600 out of my account faithfully and i had a right to know what this process was. By the end of that conversation if you could even call it that, because it went no where besides trying to make me fill something was wrong with me for an explanation. So I told her I would contact them myself, which I did and it took all of 20 minutes to negotiate a payment plan. I called my bank stopped payments to Lakeview. I feel as though they owe me a refund minus their star up fee and the amount paid to the on creditor. they owe me $1839.87 and I want it. When I signed up with them I had no missed payments for years, they have messed my credit up and I don't advice anyone to use this company. They are very pleasant and available, at first one lady name ***** whom stated we were going to be best friends but I haven't heard a word from her since my payments started, there is no such thing as status reports.

    I reached out for a loan to consolidate my credit cards into one payment. When Lakeview reached out they did NOT explain that they WOULDNT BE MAKING PAYMENTS. Now I have 5 accounts in collections and my credit is ruined! Many times when I tried to call them with my phone number on file, it would ring busy. If I would call from a different number, it would ring through. I had one card I left out of the program, per their advise, and they said nothing would go wrong with that card, but the creditor CANCELLED MY CARD. When I asked if they could settle with a pay for delete from my credit report, they said it wasn't possible. I am asking for a FULL REFUND of all PAYMENTS MADE. I have been mislead and my credit is RUINED because of it.

    I signed up for this program in September and i was advised they were going to be negotiating with creditors in order to get the debt resolved. They were withdrawing $300.00 every month and i was not seeing any change. By the time I contacted them in December, I had only received 1 email for settlement for 1 out of 5 accounts. $ months into the program and $1,200 later and nothing was being done. At the end, the settlement i was offered was only $500.00 less. Once I called to cancel this program, they advised that they could only return around $300 to me and they would not be able to return all the money, even though nothing was ever resolved. I feel like i got scammed out of money and they never did anything to help.

     My issue has not been resolved. They are claiming that my payment was posted & I NEVER received any refund from them. It is ridiculous that they would mark this as resolved. Im am currently pending a call back from their representative but this issue is definitely not resolved.
