      I have met some nice people. All the contacts have been friendly and hospitable. I am currently dealing with ******* who has been very active and communicative. I am pleased

      They told me in the initial interview they could introduce me to men in different countries since I travel. After I paid and asked for this, they said it was not possible. I asked for a refund and they said I signed the contract which says they do not work in *****. So I did not read the find print, but they lied and lost my trust. They have the money but tricking people who want to find love and taking our money is just bad karma. If they had acknowledged this and refunded the money, I would not write this review but keeping money that they lied to get it just bad business.

      In my interview with Its Just Lunch I was given only 1 option with a fee of $10,000. I was told it was for 6 months and included 8 dates. If I put the membership on hold, I had up to a year to use up the 6 months or 8 dates. I was never told I could ask to see a photo of a potential date. I discovered this when a date asked me if I had the type of membership where I could see a date. I was also never made aware that there was a membership option less than $10,000. although I was told of the $18,000. one! My 6 months is up and I had 7 dates and 1 referral. I was told the other day that the referral (I chose not to go out with him when I saw the photo of a very overweight man) counted as a date! One date in particular was horrible. *******, in the office, told me he was in finance when in fact, he was the manger of a parts department at a small airport. He was described as being fit and that he swam every day. This date was overweight, did not swim, and suffered from ******************************. He hid his hand under the table so that I could not see it shake. The worst was that Its Just Lunch had an excuse for everything. The staff has been trained well not to acknowledge any mistakes on their end and customer service is horrendous. They are all professional con artist! STAY AWAY.

      This is a scam. They promised matchmaking services for young professionals. Sometimes the person they matched you with shows up. They do not vet. They do no real matchmaking and neither record nor abide any single one of your preferences. They do not listen to your complaints, or offer any conflict resolution whatsoever. When you complain, they say lower your expectations as "we only offer a fun introduction. We do not do real matchmaking". Remind you their website is titled "Matchmaking: Dating for busy professionals" in my browser. That's what I was told on the phone by a vice president, that my discontent is because my expectations were too high. This is a bait and switch, plain and simple; a complete scam. Run.

      I signed up for Its Just Lunch in November 2023, excited about the prospect of meeting new people through a matchmaking service. However, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. My first date, scheduled for early January 2024, was a complete letdown as my match never showed up. Since then, I havent gone on a single date, and its now September 1, 2024. The matches I received did not align with my preferences, and I felt pressure from the matchmakers to consider individuals who didnt meet my criteria, including significant differences in life goals, such as wanting childrensomething I clearly stated as non-negotiable. Open to kids was not for me. By the end of June, I was assigned a new matchmaker who promised to be in touch within four weeks. It has now been nine weeks, and Ive heard absolutely nothing. I havent received any calls or emails, and I dont even have her contact information to follow up directly. ***** is her name. Feeling frustrated and unheard, Ive had to consult a lawyer regarding what I believe to be a scam. To make matters worse, when I tried to access my contract, I discovered that it is no longer available or has expired. Overall, my experience with Its Just Lunch has been extremely unsatisfactory. I cannot recommend this service based on my experience, as it has failed to deliver on its promises and left me feeling neglected and misled. Not to mention I feel taken advantage of!

      ***** from Its Just Lunch is a Liar!! They claim to offer a 3 month membership after its over while not mentioning that upfront. secondly, the quality of the candidates they present is extremely low without mapping against any or majority of the criterion i laid out. they presented random options and after i declined them put their hands up to say that they did their job by sharing people they thought aligned with my expectations which is completely FALSE. Its a clear case of bat & switch. I had a terrible experience with this company and would strongly recommend people to not consider doing business with them.

      IJL regrets to learn that you feel this way and disagree with your statements. IJL has not lied to you in any way. Your membership was for 3 months, 3 dates, whichever comes last. IJL provided you 5 dates over the course of 3 months, 2 you accepted to meet and 3 you declined to meet. Your membership has been fully serviced and we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy the process or meet your special someone. We wish you the best on your dating journey.

      Do not, do NOT spend any of your time or your money with this service. They are scammers, twisters of words, all for them to keep your money and not give any real kind of personalized service when it comes to dating and matchmaking. You're first sold on the wonderful choices that they have only to be paired with people who do not meet your criteria. And apparently, anything you agreed to when you first talked with the person is set in stone for the entire membership period. For example, I specifically told them I didn't want to date people of a certain age after a while but it didn't matter because I first agreed to the age range over the phone. That is not a personalized type of dating service, especially with the amount of money paid. And furthermore, this isn't technically a term of their so-called contract so there should be flexibility like any kind of real dating service. Additionally, I was given choices that were not at all aligned with what I said I was looking for in a partner (specifically religious values). And when asked what can done to resolve this because I do want reimbursement after they failed to live up to their side of bargain, they said nothing could done cause of their policies and the so-called "contract." They do not care about your dating experiences, they do not care to be a good business...they only care about keeping your money and running out your membership period so they can say "well, you agreed to it when you signed the contract" or use any reason to justify them not living up to their promises and services. I can guarantee (unlike them) that I will be taking further action unless this is fully resolved.

      We regret to learn you did not enjoy your dating experience as this is not the norm and we adamently disagree with your statements regarding your membership experience. IJL provided you 3 dates in excess what was allowed for under the term of the membership agreement. You declined to meet all of the dates IJL provided, which is your prerogative, however, you were not able to determine if you had a true spark or chemistry with any one of your dates, as you did not sit down across from them face to face. IJL provided the services to you and your membership has expired. We wish you the best on your future endeavors.

      This company has been the biggest scam that I have ever encountered. Matchmakers are the worst and so are their clientele. There have been multiple class action lawsuits against this company and I'm not sure why this company hasn't been shut down. They deceive you into thinking that they happen matches that you want and they do not. I had to request three different matchmakers at three different times and none of them were able to follow through on the promises that were made. They wouldn't call you back they rushed you off the phone they matched it with individuals that were not at all what you wanted. I have requested my money back multiple times and they made up the weirdest reasons as to why they would not give me my money back. Spoke directly to one of the head corporate people in there because this was how bad my complaints were getting. This guy told me that they would not give me my money back because despite them not providing me with quality matchmakers nor any match since I've signed up for them, they had no reason to give me my money back. I want my money back asap and it's come to a point where I've had to turn to the BBB to try and do it. Their scammers, they are liars. They should have been up front about the matchmakers that they actually do have which they were not. Even one of their lead matchmakers has been very disappointing. Time We spoke she was ******* me off the phone as if she didn't want to be bothered. Service cost nearly $3000.$2900 to be exact And I have nothing to show for it. These people Do *** care about you and they are only after the money. Given that no one has taken the time to shut this company down despite the two class action lawsuits that were filed against them. Requesting my money back asap. They should have been shut down long time ago

      *****, we regret to learn you have not enjoyed the experience thus far, this is not the norm with IJL. We disagree with your sentiments and our records indicate you have not accepted any of the dates IJL has provided you and have not sat down in person with any of the dates our group of professional matchmakers has provided. This is the only way to determine if there will be that true chemistry, that true spark. We highly encourage you to work with the matchmaking team and revisit the dates you declined to meet and meet any that are available. Thank you!

      What a rip off!!! They tell you that you have 12 guarantee dates. Nope that is far from the truth. Everyone stay away. This place is a joke and a scam!!

      Complete rip off. Went on 3 dates on 6 months, at an exorbitant amount of money. They stole from a single father and wont reimburse me anything
