We hired LES Construction to do a full apatment gut renovation in June 2021. We paid them in full $131,000. ***************, owner of the company, kept requesting more and more money. Even though the job should have only been for maximum 100 grand. We agreed on a time schedule that this was to be completed. However, he got behind and then had his workers start ******* the job . As a result we are now left with cracks on the floor, grout coming up from the misplaced tiles in both kitchen and bathroom, broken bathtub and sink, numerous holes throughout the apartment that resulted in a mice infestation. The mice were peeing and pooping in my 11 yr old son"s pj drawer which created a terrible breakout of hives all over his body. The histamines were so bad he wound up in the *** ER and numerous dr and dermatologist , allergist appointments. He still takes medication on a daily basis to try and get it out of his system. *********** refuses to acknowledge his role in all of this. He wrote us an email stating that according to him the job is "FINISHED", and any problems he tried to blame on us . We responded to his email explaining how we felt and how unsatisfied we are and wanting to end this amicably. He in turn remained silent and did not offer a response or resolution. So here we are left with multiple things unfinished as per the contract , along with things that are falling apart. We had sent him a copy of the bill from ROTO ROOTER that we used in an er because the bathtub was so bad it needed to be drained. He refused to again acknowledge it . According to our interior designer, *********** was aware of the broken bathtub from the start and she had sent him a replacement piece a year ago . We called in a neutral construction company to access the work done by ***********. They were shocked at the terrible job done plus the amount he had charged for it . *********** refused to finish the job and fix what he did . For the amount of money he charged we deserve to be happy and satisfied.
