      I paid for a one week subscription. for $7.22 but they deceivingly turned it into a monthly subscription which I never wanted or knowingly agreed to. I don't even have an account and feel they tricked me.

      I purchased a one time only service from Bumper LLC for $1, I was sure I had cancelled the recurring fee of $*****, four months later I check my account to see that they had charged me ***** a month for 4 months, totaling ******. I never used the service after the initial service and I never received a monthly bill stating that they were charging me. I want my full money back. I see that there are a lot of complaints with the same grievance. I believe this is a predatory company that is making a lot of money off the back of a lot of people.

      A charge appeared on my ********* card dated Sept 2 2025. IT was from BPC Bumper.com. I had never heard of the company nor become a member using my ********* card. Tried to call them and got an auto answer. Pressed to speak with billing and nothing was available. Tried several times and could speak with no one. Finally pressed cancel my account. Got an email that it was canceled thats where I got my account number. They mentioned a car I was supposed to have. I have no bumper card. I would like my monies recredited to my ********* card and find out how the charge was make and posted to my account

      Bumper LLC has been making fraudulent charges to my bank account. I had never signed up to their subscription.

      Ordered 1 report, never consented to more billing, continue to get charged nearly $30 a month. Have reached out and am told I have no account with them, which is true since I never created one, but still get charged monthly billing

      Your refund covers transactions from 08/02/25 to 09/01/25. We are unable to refund any earlier transactions from previous billing periods.

      Pretty much just like everyone else complaining about Bumper, I've been trying to get in contact with their support team all morning to no avail. every email I send to them is just responded with "The account that corresponds with the information provided does not currently have an active subscription and was previously canceled. You may have requested to cancel it previously, or your subscription may have been stopped.If you need assistance with a separate account, please provide the email address or the member ID number associated with that account." As if the account just doesnt exist anymore. I hope I'm not being scammed like everyone else here. I was charged for ***** and never received an actual response from anyone

      I saw charges on my credit card that I did not recognize. I researched and discovered that bumper.com was charging me $27.99 per month for a service that I did not sign up for. The total amount billed was $83.97 (3 months).I had researched one VIN in June for a car my son was looking to purchase. I did not realize I was signing up for continuing service.I clearly was not using the service. I contacted customer service 3 times, politely asking for a refund, and their only response was that they had cancelled my service. They never addressed my request for a refund. This in my opinion, is an unethical business and should be avoided. They are clearly 'tricking' customers into signing up for a monthly service (in the fine print), and hoping they don't notice the charges.

      That account was canceled I received the notification from the bank that there was a debit on my account from ********************** I repeatedly tried to contact bumper at the number listed on their website *********** and contacted them via email regarding accounts number ******************************** there was initially a 7-Day trial for about $1 the customer service number that they provided on their website to reach out to them States I'm sorry your account cannot be accessed I wanted full refund of my money and that account completely canceled and deleted.

      We were able to locate your most recent contact with our **************** team. Please note that we no longer offer phone support for Bumper. However, you can contact us through our other available channels like chat and email.

      When signing up for our background reports, the subscription does outline that it will auto-renew until elected to cancel. 

      After review, it shows that you cancelled your account on 03/21/25 but reactivated on 07/30/25 with our $1.00 7-day trial period.
      We did not receive any additional request to cancel the account from the reactivation date until 08/07/25.

      Please be assured that your account was canceled and you were issued a refund of $29.95. The refund was processed immediately on our end, however, please note that it may take up to 10 days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement depending on your financial institution.

      Additionally, in accordance with your deletion request, we have deleted your account. Please note that pursuant to state law a confidential copy of the account information will be kept solely to help ensure security and integrity, identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality, and/or comply with any legal obligation. A record of the deletion request will also be kept to ensure your account remains deleted.

      I did the 7 day trial for $1 to check a *** on a camper we were just about to purchase. I was shocked to see 3 complaints the recent regarding frame flex broken or cracked a serious issue. All 3 complaints are by the owner yet no name is listed who the owner is not even the state they may live in. We told the current owners we thought they were misleading us based on info found and was not going to purchase they immediate denied the 3 complaints file. They had owned it for a year the last complaint was filed same month they purchased they even had the previous owner contact me who denies they made these complaints. Info in the complaints also was not lining up with title timeline. Bumper did list the model of the camper only year and manufacture name. First owner bought from camping world who owner had service done at and no info regarding the issues are recorded with records at camping world can approved keystone dealer. Bumper states the following below are safety complaints for 2018 Keystone Keystone submitted by consumers to *****. I contacted ***** who checked the *** # and said there have been no complaints filed. Theres no phone number for Bumper only chat which was repetitive in there response they are unable to remove or change information nor could specifically tell me where they are getting there info. There is no way to find out even if the name of person filing these complaints are the actually owner. Theres is no way to cross reference the vin belongs to the owner on title. This almost ruined a great purchase due to wrong information on bumpers website

The **** requires all States to protect the privacy of personal information contained in an individuals motor vehicle record, including limiting the use of a drivers motor vehicle record to certain purposes.

      Bumper is an easy-to-access collection of vehicle records. These records are collected through official government records, insurance records and industry sources such as manufactures and service shops.

      As you just experienced, sometimes the information they collect is not always 100% correct. However, we can only work with the information provided to us. Because we do not create the information, we cannot edit the information. Corrections occur through ongoing, systematic database updates.
