  Profits over people for this company! I found out about flight cancellation due to extreme weather conditions just outside (three hours only) the 48 hour window this company requires for a full refund of reservation cost without cancellation fee ($137 CAD). I contacted their agents to request waiving of that fee in consideration of the fact that all parties put safety first when cancelling the flight.
  They asked me to provide proof of the cancellation, which I did. After all that, they still denied me, saying that my flight number was not on the document.
  They are so greedy and desperate to squeeze any revenue they can out of people that they will stick absolutely to their precious rules. ********** doesn't even charge cancellation fees and ******* and ******** are offering full refunds in consideration of the circumstances.
  This company will say they are not ******* Or ******** or ********** and they are correct- they are nowhere close to being in the same league.

  I spoke with customer service. I had a hard time understanding the girl because English, is not their first language. I cancelled a car rental due to poor customer service at the front desk. The car rental agency, had no problem refunding my request but because I booked thru cartrawler, I had to go through them for refund. It was a complete nightmare and they refused to refund my card. I reserved through ****** ********. NEVER AGAIN! Cartrawler has no integrity, as a company and I will never book through them again!

  This company should be put out of bossiness, total scam I am currently fighting them for a refund of a pre-paid vehicle. I will fight them until I get my money back very un please with there customer service and there BS letters they keep writing me.

  When I booked my rental car through **********, I was re-directed to a 3rd party site, Car Trawler. I booked the car in my husbands name and used my credit card to pay for the car (like I have done countless other times with several other car rental companies). When I arrived at the Las Vegas NU car rental desk, I stood in line for almost an hour. Then, they refused to release the car I had paid for because my husband had a debit card, not a credit card. They refused to accept a debit card for the security deposit. They also refused to help me rebook and I was treated very rudely and poorly since I booked with a third party company. They left me completely stranded on Thanksgiving day. I had a road trip planned, with hotels already booked and paid for and I desperately needed a car. After a couple emails with Car Trawler "customer support", they refused to refund any of my money. Credit cards and debit cards are basically used interchangeably. We have used a debit card to rent cars from at least 3 other companies this year.

  Dont ever think about using this fraudulent company. You cannot even get in contact with them when you need them the most. They lie and steal your money. Use the known traveling websites over this ******* scamming company.

  I agreed to the unorthodox policies on the CarTrawler website, but when I arrived at the rental car counter I was given different policies. Total Scam! I refused the car and CarTrawler still tried to charge me. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and that was the first time they reached out to me and complained that they wanted me to cancel the dispute. What nerve!

  They rented me a car for an office that was closed for the day. I had to take a train. They charged me the rent upfront a didnt offer full refund. Complete scammers! Never do business with these guys!

  Scam artists, do not and I mean dont ever use this company for anything at all possible, they are stealing from hardworking men and women. They deserve to go bankrupt.
