  I was scammed by this company through Uber rental cars. They stole my money and refused to refund it. I booked a rental to pick up from the airport from dollar rental. I was unable to get the rental because I wasn't flying out and was using a debit card. ****** told me that they cancelled the reservation and call car Card Trawler to issue the rental. They sent me a policy that I did not receive prior for their reason for no refund. After putting them on 3 way with Dollar, they said they didn't recieve the money and could not give it back. I filed a fraud claim with my back. BEWARE!

  Never had a problem renting a car with my debit card. I've read the terms and conditions and when I seen you must have a credit card I thought I was good because my debit card has a mastercard logo on it. When I got there they would not accept my debit card they would not accept my Dad's credit card and no one could put the reservation in my dad's name so that he could use his credit card they just screwed me out of the money I paid for a car and I got nothing.

  Cartrawler is entirely a scam. No, the company is NOT based in Ireland, it is based in ***. and NO, the company does not employ 415 in ******, it is a ** based company and all of its operations are in ***, primarily Spanish speakers. The company's model is to rip off customers by requiring them to pay extra fees and changes fees when customers show up to pick up their cars, or when their flights change and they need to change their reservation. Their entire business model is theft. I cant believe the company has evaded law enforcement this long.

  This company stole my money. I paid to reserve a rental but when I went to pick it up, I was told they had "fleet problems" and I couldn't get the car I reserved. The company demanded proof that I showed up but what would that even be? They refused to refund the money I spent for the service I.never received. This company is a scam!

  I rented a van in February and paid ***** upfront for pickup in July. I arrived at Dollar rental to pickup and was told the van was not at the rental facility yet. I was told to wait and they would call when it arrived. I waited hours and then was told that it would likely not arrive and to go through another rental company because they had nothing available. At the airport, I walked over to Enterprise and rented. Car trawler is refusing to refund my prepayment. This company is a scam. Do not rent from them.

  I was unable to get a rental car in ******* once I arrived because I was using a debit card and the fact there were at least 100 people ahead of me to receive a vehicle as well. Either way, I was denied a vehicle and told Uber (what has occurred) and they told me they were not responsible and that cartrawler was the responsible party to get a full refund. Well, it's been almost a year and every time I correspond with cartrawler, i'm told they were reopening the case. I told this atleast ten times! I gathered all the paperwork required for them to give me a refund and sent it to them and still no response. I also chatted with someone on their website and the same has occurred. How are these folks still in business? If there was a zero I would give it to them!

  This company is a total FRAUD!!! Despite three attempts to get a refund they stonewalled ** every time. AVOID at all cost!!!

  absolutely the worst rental car broker and app, with hidden fees and no ability to change reservations unless you pay additional service fees. I have been renting cars for business travel for 30yrs, and this is the worst experinece ever.

  I made a huge mistake booking an airport transfer. I booked a minivan and paid for it, but was sent a suv ******* Highlander) and argued that they consider it as a van. I had a 10 mo and it was cold rainy day so i cancelled and took a different ride. When I asked for a refund they took about 40 days arguing that the suv is minivan and will not refund. And till date there is no reply to the follow up I had sent. Its almost 3 months now. My request to all never ever book this service as they are not trustworthy and have no respect for customers. Btw i booked through emirates who in turn had this service provider. Beware!!!

  Cartrawler, Sharks Trawl... I wonder if they were laughing as they came up with this name.Rented a car, they set me up with an Electric car which I did not want, only way I found to communicate was through chat. They would come back apologizing every five minutes thanking me for my patience, nothing was ever accomplished. Twenty minutes later I requested a cancelation and They responded immediately, as if that is what they were waiting for.The insurance was refunded immediately but $77.00 is still on my credit card and they are saying that it will take at least ten days to remove, maybe that's how long it takes for them to collect their stolen money.My credit card company has been alerted, I wonder if these future H*** dwellers actually rent cars at all?I usually check reviews before committing, this time I forgot. These guys are crooks!!!
