1 starThe worlds best airline deserves 0 star from its customer this time as they failed to refund the amount for booking reference KG4FHU since last 8 months. I requested for refund and provided all the required documents for the waiver and that was already approved by the qatar airlines but due to some reasons(as customer service failed to provide the exact reason) it has not been refunded since last 8 months. I have been calling once or twice or thrice every month and getting answer that the refund will be processed in next 2-3 business days. I waited for 2-3 weeks to get that refund appear on my account but no refund was processed. Upon calling back, I get the same answer. When I asked to share or include me on the email chain for the status they said their policy wont allow to do that. What are my options now?Review fromMd H

1 starI am extremely disappointed with Qatar Airways customer support and cabin service.On July 22, 2025, I opened a support ticket (Case Reference: CAS-******-R3R9C7) regarding an incident on my July 21, 2025 flight from ***** to **** (Booking Reference: xxxVQX, e-Ticket: xxx31861). To date, I have received no response to the ticket. I also sent an email 10 days ago, but again, no reply. I have even tried phone support, but nobody has responded. For a company that markets itself as a world-class airline, this lack of customer service is unacceptable.The reason I opened the ticket was due to a very poor experience on the ***** to **** flight. During the flight, the call-light system was malfunctioning. I turned it on for nearly 50 minutes, but no cabin crew member came to check. Every 1520 minutes, the light was turned off without anyone attending to me. This happened multiple times. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing to be ignored in this way. This is the first time Ive ever faced such service issues with Qatar Airways or any ********** be fair, my connecting flight from **** to ****** was excellent. The cabin crew were attentive, the food was good, and I have no complaints about that portion of the trip. My only complaint is with the DACDoha flight and the complete lack of response from customer service despite repeated attempts.Overall, this experience has left me questioning Qatar Airways commitment to customer care. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve both their cabin crew attentiveness and customer support responsiveness.Review fromGamal H

1 starOn July 27, 2025, during check-in at LAX for Qatar Airways flight QR0740 to *****, I was unexpectedly informed by Qatar Airways staff that my two carry-on bags did not qualify as cabin luggage. This determination was made without any measurement, weighing, or formal inspection.I explained that these exact bags had been used on my inbound Qatar Airways flight from ***** just five months earlier with no issue, and I had also used them with other airlines. The response from the airline supervisor was that allowing them on board in ***** was a staff mistake, and the policy should have prevented it. Despite this, I was given no flexibility or reasonable solution, and was forced to pay $510 USD to check in these two small carry-ons.This created both a financial burden and emotional distress, especially as a retired senior citizen traveling with important medications in those bags. I had no prior warning or indication that these bags would be a problem and based my travel plans on Qatar Airways past approval of them. 1 starI booked Qatar Airways QSuite Business Class from SFO for my family, including an infant, expecting a premium experience. What we went through was a nightmare.Our flight was delayed for 2 hours, then abruptly canceled. We were told to collect our 7 checked bags and return to the check-in counter, with no assistance whatsoever. Traveling with an infant, this was extremely stressful and ************* the counter, we were sent to a hotelbut the hotel said they had no available rooms. We had to bring all our bags back to the airport, get another hotel assigned, and return again. It took over 5 hours before we finally got a room. During all this chaos, there was no proper place for my infant to be fed or changed. Qatar Airways offered no ******* didnt stop there. The airline refused to rebook us on a comparable 1-stop flight, even though we had paid extra for it. After hours of pushing, they finally rebooked us two days later. They also failed to notify the hotel, and the hotel staff asked us to leave until we sorted it out again.When we finally flew, all our checked bagsincluding infant food and supplieswere missing. Thankfully, we had packed a few days worth, or this couldve been a disaster.On our return flight, the electronics on one of our QSuite seats (used by my elderly mother) were broken, forcing her to sit upright for the entire flight. No resolution or compensation offered.I filed a formal complaint on Qatar Airways' website, and weeks later, still no response.This experience was beyond unacceptableespecially from a premium airline. 3 starsThe flight experience is always wonderful. The food is great. The flight attendants are great. The perks for people with status are nice, but theres no dedicated customer service team to go with loyal flyers. That means you have to go through normal customer service on the app or by phone. The reps are among the worst Ive ever experienced.. They are friendly, but they arent competent and dont follow through on promises. No one seems to have authority to do anything, including compensating a customer for mistakes made by the airline. For example, I was walked to the door of the aircraft by the ticketing agent. As we walked, he was apologetic over a glitch in Qatar Airways system that made my fam *** me the last people on the plane (almost missing our flight) and told me he was upgrading me to business class. When we got to the door of the plane, the lead flight attendant said there were no business class seats left and that I should go to my regularly-assigned economy seat. I filed multiple complaints through the online system for other issues and received confirmation numbers along with a note saying Id be contacted soon. I didnt receive a response after a month, so I called. The guy assured me, after I told him I doubted anything would happen, that he would have someone get back to me in 2-3 days. Two weeks later, Im still waiting. Ill keep trying, but the amount of time and energy *** put into getting customer service to do its job is unacceptable.Review fromPhavanh K

1 starPurchase a ticket for my sister from US **** on 11/25/24 return on 12/10/24 paid over $1700 but on the return there is a major schedule change from ******* to **** but when I checked in *** Vietnam air counter check me and my luggage all the way to ** but when I get to *******, they said I dont have any ticket and my name is not in system.After that I tried to contact my agent. They told me because I am not confirmed. Im not confirm why they let me board From *** to ******* I am not my ticket thats make me really confuse and Qatar told me I have to get a new tickets so I called my agent to re-issue the tickets. My question is Qatar airline have schedule change . How come Qatar airline didnt take care of me since I have my ticket already why they have me get a new ticket and charge me penalty which is over$600. This how Qatar treat the customer I save every ***** to go back home but they charge me in five minutes over $600. Thats really sad. I hope it not happening to other Passengers ????Review fromSajid R

1 starTerrible Service! No Customer Service!I paid for excess Luggage for my mother ticket. Qatar airways charged from my credit card. and then they stop my mom on ***************, demanding money saying that excess payment is not appearing in the system. My Mom paid in cash and took the reciept. Because staff of qatar airways were not allowing my mother to travel until payment is made. After the travel we reach out to qatar airways and presented them proof of double payment. but they refuse to acknowledge and return the payment. Absolutely no transparency. Since then we left travelling via qatar airways and I will continue to spread the word to my circle for this injustice.This is the standard of world top airline. 1 starA terrible airline. They don't understand putting a suit doesn't make you civilized. We bought a ticket from ** to *****. We were traveling in a group. By mistake two of us reserved and paid for a seat then we realized that the group had already reserved a seat for us. In less than 4 hours we tried to cancel but some Indians with terrible accents that was almost impossible to understand they refused to refund us. We explained that it is not even 4 hours and this reservation was made by mistake and they kept repeating "Policy, policy!". Never again with this garbage airline.Review fromStephanie H

1 starWe paid for refundable tickets and are still trying to get $2k back. Terrible customer service, no transparency, no follow-up, no results. We will never book again because of this headache and theft of money.
