- Additional Info:After an increased number of complaints filed with the BBB, the BBB began looking into consumer allegations against companies that advertise guaranteed loans regardless of credit history or collateral. One of these companies, EZ Quick Loans, claimed to be operating in the Metro New York area but supplied consumers with an invalid mailing address, from which mail was returned to the BBB. There is no record of this business being registered with the New York Department of State's Division of Corporations. Consumers have told the BBB that EZ Quick Loans made false promises to arrange for a loan in return for fees paid upfront. Consumers reported that they were approved for loans but then asked to “secure” the loan by paying additional fees by transferring the fees to the company via a reloadable credit card. According to the consumer complaints, none of them received the money from the loan, or a refund of the advanced fees that were paid. The BBB found that the company's website at https://www.ezloanservices.com/ and telephone number provided are not currently working. The BBB posted a press release to alert consumers to these types of predatory lending practices.
