1 starHave been contacted by this company 2-3 times a day. Usually don't answer but did once. They said they were trying to collect a debt but would not give me any info. They had my name and last 4 of ss#. I do not have any outstanding debts, refused to give them any info and hung up. My phone provider has blocked their number and I have reported them to the authorities. Zero star rating.Review fromJoshua S

1 starThis company keeps calling family members, even though they are only allowed to call each member once. Please stop calling family members as this is now amounting to harassment. I have already entered into a payment plan and gave you my number so please stop with the calls and texts to family members.Spire Recovery Solutions LLC

We are in receipt of the review submitted by Mr. ********. On January 16, 2024, Mr. ******** entered into a payment arrangement with our company to settle his account. Since the time that Mr. ******** entered into this payment arrangement on January 16, 2024, there has been no other calls made to him or his family members concerning this matter. As Mr. ******** is in an active payment arrangement that is in good standing, there would be no reason to make any additional calls on this account. We believe that Mr. ******** may have us confused with another company that is attempting to contact him. If Mr. ********* can provide us with a telephone number of where these calls are coming from we can research this issue further but we are extremely confident that these calls are not coming from our company.Review fromHaris H

1 starThis company claims to be the offices of SRS. Won’t tell you any more than that. Harassing my family and people I'm not even associated with. Say they have sent several emails and letters to my address and argue and get aggressive with me when i tell them i haven't received anything. I asked for proof of debt and instead of saying ok and sending me the information, the lady i spoke with started yelling and acting so unprofessional. The calls and harassment needs to stop immediately.Review fromRobert L

1 starOnce again I am receiving text messages for "******* *****" on my phone. The trouble is I AM NOT this person and I have had this number for several years now.
It seems these collection agency's buy up debt and start trying to collect with old or incorrect information.
I have gone thru this at least 3 times before, contacting these collection company's information them their info is not correct, but they don't update the contact information in the file and then sell it to another collection company.

1 starThey deserve no stars. They harass. Never stop calling. I don't owe them. And I have no idea who they are trying to collect from. They text and they call from different numbers and it's becoming routine.Spire Recovery Solutions LLC

We have received the review submitted by ***** ******** and have investigated her allegations. Ms. ******** had an account placed with our company for collections on October 18, 2023. On October 18, 2023 our company mailed a Model Validation Notice to Ms. ******** at ***** ********** ***** **** ***** ******** ***** *****. On October 19, 2023 we also emailed a copy of this Model Validation Notice to Ms. ******** at *************@*****.com. On October 20, 2023 our company sent a text message to Ms. ******** at ###-###-####. On October 20, 2023 we received a responding text message from Ms. ******** requesting no more text messages concerning this matter. On October 30, 2023 we sent Ms. ******** an email requesting that she contacts us concerning this matter. There was no other collection activity made with respect to Ms. ******** account other than what was described above. We never placed a phone call on this account. We believe that Ms. ******** may have us confused with another collection agency as our collection attempts with respect to this account have been limited to 2 emails, one letter and text message in the 2 weeks that this account has been placed with our company. It is the position of our company that our limited collection activities with respect to Ms. ********’s account were made in full compliance with all collection laws.Review fromJoy J

1 starI would give this no stars if I could. This company has contacted me on numerous accounts, saying they’re the owner of all accounts owed. When asked to show proof of ownership, they sent me some documents through my email to set up payments. After paying off one account they claimed they had ownership, which later went to collecting for clients. Never found out who the clients were, because the payday loan and loan companies sold the accounts to whoever. When I went into the payday loan company that was paid off, they told me that I would need to pay off the balance owed. I said I did that through this company(SRS)they told me that’s not the owner of the account, they gave me the name and number of who bought the account. I had contacted SRS and asked for a receipt showing that I had paid it. They gave me the run around saying I need to sign documents to get the receipt and that they had sent it…. Never did!! They have people calling me talking about a balance that is owed on anither account that I had paid on through another company that had collected on that account, but some how there was an extra $1000 added, but we know collection companies aren’t suppose to add interest. They have called and harass me, my family, and they’ve also threaten to contact my job and supervisor. To this day I still haven’t seen proof of ownership, but call me at least six times a day using various numbers. They have received $250 from me, I believe, I was scammed and now since they have received money from me through lying, they will not stop!!Spire Recovery Solutions LLC

Spire Recovery Solutions (“SRS”) has reviewed the review submitted by *** ******* on September 8, 2023. We currently have three (3) accounts belonging to Ms. **** that have been placed with our company for collections. Contrary to Ms. ********* allegations, SRS does not own any accounts we collect on as they are placed with our company by our nationwide network of debt buying clients. We would have never represented to Ms. ******* that SRS owned her account. In fact, on all three accounts, our company mailed Ms. ******* a Model Validation Notice that would have advised her that her account was placed with our company for collections and would have also listed the original creditor, current creditor, account number and balance outstanding. This letter would have also advised Ms. ******* what she needed to do in order to dispute her accounts or request documentation with respect to these accounts. Prior to Ms. ********* review, we were never made aware that Ms. ******* was seeking proof of ownership or other documentation concerning these accounts. In addition to the physical letters being mailed to Ms. *******, we have also sent her emails concerning these accounts. The email address which we have for Ms. ******* is the same email address she provided when submitting her review. Ms. ******* did settle her Ace Cash Express account with our company for $300.00. On July 6, 2023, which was immediately after the final payment was received on the account, we emailed Ms. ******* a paid letter. This was emailed to the same address Ms. ******* provided your agency when she submitted her review. On September 12, 2023 Ms. ******* called our company requesting a new paid letter as she stated she never received the letter we emailed her on July 6, 2023. We did put in a request for a duplicate paid letter to be emailed to Ms. *******. Ms. Johnson’s allegations concerning unlawful collection practices are patently untrue. We have never made harassing phone calls to Ms. ******* or any of her family members. We most certainly never threatened to contact her place of employment or supervisor concerning these accounts. All collection activities performed by our company have been done in full compliance with all laws governing the collection of consumer debt. We never called Ms. ******* six (6) times in one day. All calls have been made in the frequency as permitted by Regulation F. Ms. ******* may be attributing the actions of another collection agency to us. As to the two (2) accounts of Ms. ******* that remain with our company, we have placed them in a cease and desist status and will no longer be contacting Ms. ******* concerning these accounts.Review fromEllishia B

We are in receipt of the review submitted by Ms. ****** and have investigated the issues raised in her review. Spire made numerous attempts to contact and directly speak with Ms. ****** regarding this matter as there have been physical letters mailed to her along with emails requesting for her to contact us. All attempts to contact Ms. ****** have been unsuccessful and we do not have a good contact number for her. As such, we had no other option but to engage in lawfully permissible activities, which included seeking location formation, in an attempt to obtain good contact information for Ms. ******. We are sorry if Ms. ****** feels tired or inconvenienced regarding this matter, but we have made numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact her directly to speak with her. Ms. ****** is more than welcome to contact us directly regarding the review she submitted as we would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with her directly and help her resolve her account.
