Brought iphone to Street Talk in *************** with cracked back glass on 10/15/23. Paid $200 (that company poliocy is non refundable under any circumstances) to have it repaired. When asking the employee if there was a waranty, she replied explicitly, "Definitely. There is a 6 month waranty on the work. 24 hours later the back was completely shattered top to bottom with gaps all over (where the new glass back should meet the sides of the phone). Upon bringing the phone back, the owner, ****, inspected the phone, no questions asked, had the phone redone. After the phone was completed, while sill in the mall, my phone began restarting over and over, every few minutes. The phone became extremely hot when used as well. After 2 hours, a tech fianlly acknowleded they couldnt fix the phone, and would have to send it out to "another company they use for these kind of repairs". Once I got the phone back, the phone remained hot which is what I belive cracked the phone each time, the charging port doesnt recognize ear buds once plugged in, and error message comes up on the phone that a non Apple camera is being recognized, and the screen has cracked for a second time leaving gaps yet again. All of this is one major coincidence in their eyes, and the owener refused to look at my phone as he said he monitored the last repair, meanwhile he had absolutely no knowlegde of any of the procedures in regards to the phones internal parts, functions, and repair as he needed to refer to his techs each time for an answer. My phone was in perfect working order prior to Street Talk servicing it. Now all of a sudden, according to ****, their waranty doesnt include damage; a major loophole considering their faulty work often is the culprate behind reoccuring cracked glass. Blaming a customer is an easy scapegoat, and a corrupt one at that copnsidering the nature of the circustamces I was up against while dealing with them.
