On September 7th 2023, I went into National Dental for a deep cleaning consultation. Upon doing a X-ray, I was immediately told my insurance would only cover the deep cleaning. The manager told me that my insurance would not cover for the topical antibiotics Arestin nor the laser treatments. Their ********************** program was supposed to include the deep cleaning and laser treatment for three sessions. When I asked if the deep cleaning required prior authorization, the manager said it was already approved. The manager said that the remaining amount not covered I could enroll into their monthly program. I was never told it was Alpheaon Credit nor that it was a credit card. I have never even received the card in the mail. They used scare tactics stating all 28th teeth ($85 each) required antibiotics. In the end, I was pressured into doing 20 Arestin treatments. After that appointment, *** called and I told the manager I do not want to come back for any of the remaining sessions. I wanted to be only charged for one deep cleaning/laser session (**********************) along with the correct number (20) of antibiotics used. *** stated multiple times to them I wanted an itemized bill for only the treatments done that day with the precise amount I owed after my insurance deduction. Instead, *** been verbally berated and ignored by the manager and receptionist with empty words and promises every time Ive made contact with them. I've also reached out to the Alpheaon credit company to no avail. They have accredited my account back for the correct antibiotic used. However, they are still charging my account the total of $2,068 for all three ********************** sessions. Im never going back to that place so its preposterous why my account is still charged for all three sessions. My total for the one STM session and 20 antibiotics treatment should be $2,389. I am really trying to be responsible and only want to be charged for the fair amount owed.

On 10/21/2021, I went to get my wisdom tooth and the tooth in front extracted as scheduled (getting two teeth extracted) at their ******************************** location. I was told that I will need a implant replacement for the tooth before the wisdom, that is getting extracted. They will need to do a bone graft. I was informed my insurance does not cover it, it will cost me $687 for the bone graft. This was not informed to me during my consultation on 10/4. All I was told, my wisdom and the tooth in-front of it need to be extracted, never mentioned about needing an implant after. The Oral Surgeon did give me options, if my insurance does not cover the implant, can I operate at a lose of the $687 if I decide to do the bone graft and not the implant. His female Assistant goes, you don't have the money for the bone graft?!? I said I do, but currently paying my daughter's tuitions. I asked can we do the extraction first, then do the bone after if I decide to. He said no. He told me to think about and come back. I told him I took time off from work and mentally prepared myself for this, to go ahead with the bone graft. I got up about to go pay, his female Assistant told me I can pay after surgery. I did not think anything of it, as I was informed of the price, $687. He stated to me clearly before the surgery began, that is one (1) bone graft, as they do implants for wisdom tooth. After an hour of surgery, when going to pay, the lady in the front told me, I will be charged $1000 and change, $400 more for some plug. I was in so much pain, could not talk much, I gave her my card. They ended up charging me $1286, telling me they did 2 bone graft and I was lucky, I got a deal.I called the office the next day when I was coherent, I asked why was I charged $1286 when I was told $687. The Office manager got on the phone to apologize, offered to give me a credit for the additional charge for my next visit. I said no, it is unethical of you guys charging me for something I did not agreed to and why would you do a bone graft on my wisdom tooth when there is no need for an implant replacement. When I requested for an itemized ****, they sent me 2 summary, one with a date of 10/4, stating a bone graft was conducted. I only went in for a consultation and scheduled my appt. for 10/21/2021. They sent the correct order for the bone graft on 10/21( the amount on it was less than what I was told of $687.00), and the 2nd one with date of 10/4, combined it with a signature I had sign from another form to make it look I signed both on the same day (10/21). They steal from their patients. I WOULD THINK ABOUT GOING THERE UNLESS YOU DO NOT MIND GIVING YOUR HARD EARNINGS TO SCAMMERS.
