    On 3/10/2021, I had an estimate provided to which I gave a downpayment ($500)for a standard aluminum pool safety fence to be installed. On or about 3/25/2021 men came and installed an aluminum fence around my pool in accordance with the estimate. At that time I questioned the durability of the fence as it seemed flimsy but was advised it was the standard pool safety fence. Before the installed left we needed to call him back as the fence was not secure, he did something and secured the posts within the fence. I questioned again when I paid the balance on 3/27 of $2400. Since, the welding on the gate is not holding and the posts are loose and need reinforcement.The posts do not provide any safety barrier for children or pets. They easily bend and my 33-pound terrier is able to run through the fence which defeats the purpose of the purchase. I called earlier this week again regarding the fence not being safe and needing to review options. I was told someone was coming-they didn't.

    Take this as a warning not to use Robert's Fence Company. Take the time to review the prior reviews - and don't think that they were one-off occurrences or that it won't happen to you. We met with several fence companies when we bought our new house to have our driveway gated off. We were in the process of getting a rescue dog and we knew this was a priority so that we could have a fully fenced in yard. We were quoted an installation date of mid-May when we met them in mid-April. We got a better price from a local competitor (but they said they would start in mid-June), but we decided to go with Robert's because of the more immediate installment date... that's where the trouble began. We asked if they could match the rate we were given by the competitor, and we were told that we were given a good rate already because we live "all the way in *******" ... WHAT!? Maybe you should've declined the quote if it's that far out of your service area. We decided to move forward since we needed the fence done sooner rather than later. Robert's continually cancelled on us citing all sorts of reasons including truck delivery delays and weather. Expect to never hear from them unless you call them to pull the updates out of them - and when you call them, expect regular updates of "we will be there later this week" and "oh, we'll call you if we are unable to make it" and expect them to continually fail to meet these low expectations. Expect to get regular busy signals when you call both of their office numbers at any hour of the day, and expect that their customer service staff will keep you on hold for several minutes. They all have SEVERE communication problems and need to work on basic people skills (think: don't ever be rude, sarcastic, or obnoxious with customers) and need to be taught that the customer is always right. Despite their original quoted installation date of mid-May, our fence was not completed until mid-June. When they came to complete the job, they just started working outside my house - no phone call, no doorbell, nothing - and I only knew they were here when I heard a truck idling outside and power tools.
