On Friday, December 8, 2023, I was about to purchase a CB300R from the Champion Honda dealership in Hicksville, New York. The employee, who had been assisting me, ***********************, who was also my sales associate refused to disclose the Truth in Lending Act, or TILA, also known as regulation "Z", which requires lenders to disclose information about all charges and fees associated with a loan. This **** federal law was created to promote honesty and clarity by requiring lenders to disclose the terms and costs of consumer credit.**************** advised that the dealership always mails them, and he knew nothing about the financials because it was not his department. I explained to him that was not only unacceptable to me but in direct violation of TILA. As a consumer, I had the right to review the terms to determine whether they were acceptable to me. Again he stonewalled me and claimed that he did not know them, that I should not worry because it was only $6300 dollars, and finally, he declared it was too late because I had already given a non-refundable deposit and signed the dealership's bill of sales.**************** told me that it was too late to review them because I had signed a bill of sales. However, the bill of sales says that the contract is non-binding if the lender does not accept the terms of the loan, which I candidly did not. It became evident the dealership tried to hide these terms from me, which rendered our contract invalid and non-binding. At this point, they have refused to refund my $500 deposit.I left the dealership and videotaped myself leaving and not taking possession of the motorcycle.Sincerely,*******************************
