**** Boiler Piping and ************* I have had ************ do previous small jobs on boiler. He has said that he is licensed but at no time does he produce his license number nor any receipts with license number imprinted on. Hand written receipts always given. This particular job he was called because there was no heat or hot water coming up. He stated that we had let the oil level go to low which led to a sludge build up in the nozzles and charged $600 up front to complete the job. I refused to give all but did give half and told him once job completed would get final payment which he was given. Once given final payment he stated all was well with completion but heat never came up. He was called and he stated it must be the thermostat. He was not able to complete the investigation but by that night black smoke was coming from the chimney and heavy oil smell infiltrated the house. When he was was told of this he stated that is was of no part of his doing but that he was come and check it out. It took numerous calls before he came and when he came he said he had another appointment and would come back in less than an hour. Hour passed no call no text and now not responding to our calls. We have been w/o heat or hot water since. Prior to his leaving he stated again that he was licensed and that he would text me the info. That was also never received.
