I hired Cabinets To Go from ******** Long Island do my kitchen in October 2020. I had nothing but problems from the beginning. The installer either didn't show up or was not on time. The company also charged me for certain items I never received but after much back and forth refunded me. Around six months after they installed the kitchen cabinets and flooring ,the flooring started to crack and come up in spots. I contacted the company and they sent the original installer, *******************, she came to look at the problems and admitted at that time she never installed flooring on a slab . When she went back to her company she told hem the flooring was coming up due to a national disaster. We haven't had a national disaster on Long island since hurricane *****. This response was totally unprofessional . Cabinets to Go then sent an inspector to look at the floor .They then sent another flooring company, **************** to look at the job. I had asked him if he would have installed the flooring under the cabinets and he said he would not. I found out after having the floor installed this was an improper installation from other flooring professionals. Cabinets to Go originally waned to refund me only half of what I paid . I only wanted the job done the right way . They then came back with a quote from **************** of $2300 . I am not a flooring expert and that is why I hired Cabinets To Go. They assured me that my flooring would be installed correctly. They knew the new flooring was going over a concrete slab .They recommended the product and gave me a 10 year warranty. They not only wanted to charge me the $2300 but stated that once they remove the flooring if there is any additional charge I would be responsible. Now I am stuck for over a year with a floor that is coming apart and will have to pay more out of my pocket to have the floor redone. This is not the way to treat a customer. ********************** should replace the flooring and foot the **** or refund the $2265.35
