1 starI made an appointment with the La Plata location of Mr. Tire to have tires that I ordered from **** **** installed on my car (Saturday.)
In addition to the tire installation,
I agreed to an alignment and purchased a tire pressure sensor.
I was on my way out of town and before I was 10 minutes down the road, the sensor stopped working, my steering wheel was still vibrating and when I hit the breaks, my entire front end shook.
Went in upon my return (Monday) to explain my concerns and made an appointment to have car looked at again.
They told me I needed front rotors (which my mechanic put on new in April), 2 new tires for the back (which is where the 2 new tires should have been,) I had 1 wheel different from the others and to call the company I ordered tires from and tell them they owed me new tires because the ones I just purchased were 'cupping.'
The reality was:
They took the 2 bald tires off the front and put them on the back.
They took 1 of my tires off the back and put it on the front and put A DIFFERENT TIRE on the other side.
The new tires were not on my car.
I picked up the tires, went to *********, had my tires put on and had to pay for an alignment AGAIN because they could see it had not been completed.
Horrible customer service is one thing but endangering someone's life is unacceptable.
This is not the first bad encounter with Mr Tire but it will be my last - after I get my refund for services NOT rendered and the cost of the tire they owe me.Monro, Inc.

1 starHorrible, horrible, horrible company! Because they are a vendor for the car finance company I had to bring my car here. The first time I brought my car they had my car for a week and they didn't fix it but claimed it was fixed. Had the car less than a few days and the check engine light came back on (the original reason why I dropped the car off). They never called me, I had to call them. But they called my number mistaken it for a different customer.. but they can't call me about my car? I dropped off the car the second time on a Monday morning and I never got a call. I had to call Thursday and NOTHING was done to my car. The guy kept giving me the run around and said that he's the only one at the shop that knows about ******... really? So everyone that works there isn't knowledgeable about ALL cars? They didn't do a thorough check of my car which he gave me a ** excuse about as well. I called customer service and got an attitude. The rep stated that she had to call Mr. Tire (as though she didn't believe me and didn't really want to file my complaint) It's ok, that's what BBB is for!! If you're a female STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE because you will be taken advantage of. And if you like for mechanics to keep your car for weeks and don't repair it, this is the perfect shop for you!!Monro, Inc.

1 starFirst off if I had the ability of leaving a 0 star I would’ve. On August 19th 2022 @ 8:30 in the morning I went to this place for a august state inspection for my car. Five minutes later the guy comes back and told me I had to fail your car. I immediately asked him why. He proceeded to said “that both front lower ball joints are no good“, I told him impossible because they were replaced by a reputable shop not even a month ago. Confronted with this information he replied by saying “ than maybe is something on the top “, right there I new this guy is committing a fraud. I asked for my keys and paperwork left his shop. Drove to a different town to another inspection station where my car passed with no problems. Just letting you know that this type of business uses the Ma state inspection to make up issues with your car that are not there and at the same time making there wallets fat. Only he knows how many customers he has done this to that have come in for a simple inspection. WARNING don’t go to this place for a state inspection instead go to a reputable shop or the dealerMonro, Inc.

1 stara Mr Tire location on Monroe Rd in Charlotte NC put my brakes on backward and damaged my vehicle. The company is refusing to take care of the damages or even address the issues that their employee's negligence caused.Review fromPawan G.

1 starWhen we were visiting Durham on July 9th, I found out that I have low brakes in my 2004 ****** ***** so we went there to check it in, since it was the nearest center open on Saturday. They test drive the car and pulled it in and few minutes later I was told that I have rear calipers frozen so we have change both rear pads, rotors and calipers and bleed the system. I got suspicious when I saw manager taking my car license picture (not sure why) and was alter by a tech since it was from Michigan. Manager came back in and didn't know that I was looking all this from the outside. He told me that it will cost $1300 to change the rear brakes including labor. I am from auto industry so I knew it was too much and he was price gouging and charging double the price as he knew that the car is from Michigan and there is no other brake center nearby where I can fix it. This place is a complete scam and I would not suggest anyone to go there. He ripped me off royally knowing I can't get it fixed on Saturday anywhere else. Later on I called few other Mr. Tire auto centers in Durham area and asked them how much would it cost to replace the rear brake pads, caliper, and rotors and most of them were in $600-800 range. I request BBB to look into this business and in my matter and help me getting my refund back for over charging. Appreciate your help. I will NEVER recommend MR AUTO TIRE TO ANYONE. COMPLETE SCAM. BAD BUSINESS. NEVER GO THERE.Monro, Inc.

1 starI called the local Arden NC Mr Tire ?? n Monday August 15 2022 at 8:20 in the morning and spoke to a man about getting a tune up. He told me to drop my car off on Friday the 19th @ 7:00 am and leave it. He couldn’t be sure for how long because they are short handed but that I could get it back later that day. I dropped it off this morning and called at 7:32 and was told they didn’t put my appointment on their schedule and I’d have to come get my car because they couldn’t do it. When I got there I showed them when I called on Monday by my phone’s call log and they tried to tell me that it could have been a different store so I called the same number while I was standing there and it rang. Guys followed me to my car to argue with me.Monro, Inc.

1 starI went in for a basic oil change November 2021.
After 5 months the my Engine light kept Turning on and off didn’t think much of it there when it stayed on I took it to a mechanic shop as they plugged the BMW in for diagnosis found faults for both vanos solenoids for timing control oil pressure it is supplied by oil filter cap centre portion insert which was missing and not allowing to seal system properly. That is what caused solenoids to fail. I had so spend $1730.44 to have it fixed. Before I attempted to call that location I showed the report to 2 other mechanics and they also agreed. I called the location I spoke to a very nice guy And told him I would come in and show The report. I
Showed him the Report and He agreed with me, then the manager stepped in and was very rude disrespectful telling me how do. I know that the other mechanic didn’t lie to me however she is not a mechanic.Monro, Inc.

1 starWas hired as a mgr, went to train, they wanted me to do something called monro University, out of 4 computers on-site they put me on the only computer that wasn't inside with the a/c they put me outside in the bay where it's 90+ degrees, I walked, don't apply to these idiots waste of timeReview fromMichael P

1 starWent in for a broken serpentine belt, was told that the tensioner needed to be replaced because it was seized up. (Was charged $207 for a new one when I found it at a local auto store for $49.00) Along with new breaks and rotors was charged $850 only for power steering to completely fail the following day. Was told by the shop manager to bring the vehicle back in but after soaking me for over $1,000 for new parts and labor, I don't have the means to have it towed back to the shop for another $400+ dollars. Found out that the reason the belt broke was because the AC compressor pulley is completely locked up and unable to turn. Any competent mechanic would have noticed that it was broken and needed to be replaced while trying to replace the serpentine belt. I was told by the shop manager that if I didn't like their service, to take the vehicle to a different shop. Would NEVER recommend anyone to ever use Monro's service. The only reason we took the vehicle to Monro in the first place is because it was closest to where the vehicle died. I was told that the reason the vehicle is having issues is due to lack of preventative Maintenace. WRONG!! If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The manager along with the minions who work there are a bunch of incompetent crooks! I will likely lose my job, the only income my family has at the moment, due to Monro's unprofessional and ineffectual work that they did on my vehicle, also the only transportation that my family has. So, Thanks again Monro. You deliberately and effectively ruined an entire family's livelihood due to your lack of compassion, knowledge and professionalism.Monro, Inc.

Rude, incredibly unorganized and upon trying to understand why or how things weren't being processed correctly, done timely, etc... in a follow up call to the store after the fact, I was simply told this is business as usual without any regard to pacify, resolve, or any other facet of customer service. Understood that it's a first come, first serve type of service, but there was only one person visibly working at 9:30am.... with a rough quote of 30-45min in and out. That quickly became 2hrs.
I'm ashamed to say I've sunk a couple grand into this place for what have thus far been awful tires. The warranty given is great, but is clearly there for a reason as I've already had to replace brand new tires within a couple months of getting them.
Maybe if these tires die yet again i'll be going back on a day where I am can take off work, but otherwise, I'll definitely not be returning here.
